NOKIA PC SUITE VERSION 3.8.48 Messaging problem

hello , I am sync my phone to pc and when i am syncying "msgs have been synced" pop out is coming but there is no msgs are seen in pc suite my device is nokia 305 plzzz solve this problem and i am uploading the snapshot of my pc suite......

    I had the same problem and I resolved it doing this:
    With 7zip I unzipped the PC Suite.exe file, into the new folder (with the name”PC Suite”) I found and installed the PCCS.exe and after that I installed the PC Suite.exe that was into the “PC Suite” folder...
    Voilá..

    ps: I found somewhere that we have to install in order VC80_x86, CCD, PCCS and Nokia_PC_Suite files...For my part I don't have any problems with only PCCS and PC Suite.

  • Nokia Suite version 3.4.49 install problems

    HI - I wonder if someone can help at all please?
    I'm trying to install Nokia Suite version 3.4.49 on a new Win XP laptop (no previous install of the Nokia Suite on this laptop) - which I initially had a problem as the installer appeared to hang for more than 24 hours.
    I found a previous solution which suggested there was a missing DLL, and could be resolved by installing Windows Media Player 11 - the install now appears to get to 100% (on the progress bar), though the message still shows the text 'Installing Nokia Suite, this may take a few minutes'.
    The right hand panel continues to refresh with the features and description content.
    Are there any logfiles I can check or use to help diagnose this?

    I have managed to download 3.5.14 Beta, and the installer gets to a similar point (firstly to report that an installation is suspended, and did I want to undo the changes made previously? To which I responded yes, but the new install of the 3.5.14B version is approx 50% and not making additional progress :-(
    I've restarted, run a couple of registry cleans/checks etc but still not able to install Nokia Suite (I've also uninstalled all other Nokia apps too) - so now I have none at all.

    I think this is a problem with the arabic font, not encoding.
    as I managed to send SMS in arabic although I was not able to read it while typing it.

    This discussion forum is meant for end-users to post their issues and it will be discussed among others users and experts.
    In this forum and in some other forums, it was discussed that Nokia will be having beta testing for its next pc suite 7.1. So you can wait for some more time, till its get released for end users, hopefully your will be rectified in the next release

  • Nokia PC Suite 7.1.180.94 Blueooth problem

    Nokia PC Suite 7.1.180.94 doesn't recognise my Bluetooth stack, see below:

    Note that PC Suite also erroneously states that it finds only one browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0.  I use Google Chrome, which is obviously installed and operational on this pc.
    I CAN connect my phone via Bluetooth to the pc via the normal Windows search for a Bluetooth device, but it makes no difference to PC Suite whether the phone is installed as a device or not.
    System Information shows under "Services":
    Bluetooth Support Service / BthServ / Running / Auto / Share Process / c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k bthsvcs / Normal / NT AUTHORITY\LocalService / 0
    What should I do to make PC Suite recognise the Bluetooth Stack?

    Do you know which stack (and version) you use? This can be checked in the Bluetooth control panel » About/Info in your system settings.

    I downloaded and installed the latest PC suite today 19/06/2008 (hope it is). I now have problems sending sms's via the software, can not browse my images on the phone.
    Error that I get when browser opens is: Failed to start update.

    As this problem is related to an Eseries device be sure i future to post it under the Eseries section of the board
    The E65-1 has had a staggered life on the NSU supported phones list. Initially it was not supported then later it was addedd. currently I believe it has been removed again for reasons unknown.
    The best would be to take it to a Nokia service centre close to you and have it upgraded there

     I UPDATED MY PC SUITE TO VERSION 3.8.48 AND EVERSINCE I CANT MAKE CALLS ANY MORE VIA PC SUITE. I CANT SEE MY CALL ACTIVITY ALSO. MY PHONE MAKE IS C2-3. I CAN ACCESS MY PHONEBOOK FROM MY LAPTOP BUT I CANT MAKE CALLS. I USED TO MAKE CALLS WITH THE EARLIER VERSION.

    I also have problem, First I was using PC Suit 3.7 on Windows  7 and now I have PC Suit 3.8, when I make backup, at last step it says phone memory full, although I have more than 10 MB Free Phone Memory. PC Suit 3.7 made my backups without memory error.

  • Nokia Ovi suite fails to download with message 'Do...

    I've tried connecting my E72 to both a Windows 7 and a Windows XP machine, and I get teh same message - 'Failed: Download file invalide'.
    Is anyone else seeing this and does anyone know of a solution?

    After connecting the phone to your pc, a message appears on your phone screen, choose Pc Suite mode.
    If that didn't show up, go to Menu --> Connectivity --> USB --> and choose Yes in Ask on connection

    Then I tried to install Nokia Suite 3.8.30 so that it will replace older version. But it gives a message "The older version of connectivity cable driver cannot be removed."

    Hi to everyone out there to help me,
    Few weeks ago, I updated my phone software and after that, I found out that I could view old messages and send new ones from my pc. I loved that feature, but didn't use it often. As I wanted to use it again today, I couldn't... I can view my contacts, calender entries, but cannot view my messages. I can send new ones though...
    An error occurs as I connect my phone to my pc (via cable), which I had beforehand too I guess. It's not English, so I will translate it myself:
    "Nokia PC Suite
    In order to make your phone support new features, the PC Suite support on your phone has to be updated.
    Would you like to update the PC Suite support on your cell phone (Nokia 6630)?"
    - I click on the green tick.
    A quick dissapearing window pops up... It's hard to tell what appears even on my own language xD:
    "Installing...
    Accept all upcoming approvals on your phone"
    Then in 1-2 seconds the message changes into:
     "PC Suite support installation failed"
    - I click on the green tick, the only option.
    Well, as I said before, besides that I am unsure, this problem existed beforehand, and I could view my messages even like that.
    I tried repairing the Nokia PC Suite, after I send this message I will uninstall and install it once... I will update the situation...

    I have exactly same problem as you described:
    PC Suite (7.1.51.0)
    message box displays:
    The PC Suite support installed on your phone must be updatedto support new features.
    Do you want to udpadte PC Suite support on your cell phone (Nokia 6630)?
    [green tick <yes> ] [red X <no>  ]
    InstalLing
    [Accept all possible installation requests on your phone
    PC Suite support installation failed
    < green tick > ]
    As this goes on a banner momentarilydisplays on the phone, it is an Icon and the name "INSTALLER"
    this  happens twice
    then finally,
    PC Suite support instalation failed
    On the phone i see:
       Tools->Manager-->
            (App. Manager)
             PC_Suite_Sup (70kb)
             Version 1.7.0
    On its status, it says it is NOT INSTALLED
    So I select the option to install it but when I view the details again its status still says NOT INSTALLED.
    I go on and Select REMOVE and it is dutifully removed from the list.
    I coldboot the phone and upon verifying that it is not on the app manager list. I restart PC Suite and go through the procedures above (Install PC Suite support) and again it ends up with pc suite installation failed.
    Checking on the appmanager, it reappears on the list. but it is NOT INSTALLED as per its status.
    I'm thinking perhaps if there was an app (PC SUITE SUPPORT) i can download and install via PC SUite then perhaps that would solve the problem, but I've grown weary (leary?) of trawling Nokia's site(s) for it as I've ended up with zilch thus far.
    Any one out there that can help? Someone from Nokia would be nice ...

    I have some messages longer than 160 characters and it seems that they are not handled properly:
    - The backup application stops copying messages when it finds the first long message.
    - When I browse the messages in Explorer (launched by clicking "Messages" in PC Suite) only sms up to 160 characters are shown. There are also some blank entries in place of long messages.
    I've noticed the same problem in the Italian version, I removed it and installed the English version before reporting the issue.

  • Need Help: Nokia PC Suite 7.1.40.1 installation is...

    I downloaded Nokia PC Suite Version 7.1.40.1 from Nokia site and installation got stuck at around 85%. I had to kill the session and restart installation. But no luck as it gets stuck everytime. I then tried cleaning all files related to PC Suite manually including registry entries. But I was not able to clean up some of the already installed files. It keeps saying the files are being used currently. Restarting the laptop also does not work.If I try to start the installation again I get a error message stating that the previous installation is in progress. Could some help me with this strange problem ?
