Nokia soft gel cases for Lumia 920

When is the Nokia soft gel case for Lumia 920 going to come out? The ones that came out for the Lumia 900 (Soft Cover CC-1037) are excellent. They are thin but provided excellent protection. The non-Nokia ones available on eBay or Amazon are thicker.

Sadly Nokia has yet to show or even announce any official cases for the Lumia 920. All we can really do is wait and see as they won't confirm anything about them through this forum. I've purchased a nice think black hard case from ebay for now.

Where to buy Nokia Xpress-on cover for Lumia 710 ?

Does anyone know where I can buy Nokia Xpress-on cover for Lumia 710 in Australia? Or anywhere overseas that will ship to Australia. Nokia lists them on their website but not how/where to purchase.
I notice customers in the U.S. are getting free covers. Is this going to be available to other countries???

I emailed Nokia NZ about the covers, they said they'd get back to me... 2 months still waiting and yes a new cover would be cool. Mines too black, always getting lost.
Yellow would be awesome. Perhaps they'll extend the cover offer to the rest of the world one day

I wonder if this app is restricted to certain territories? I have a Lumia 920 and I cannot find this app in my store (neither in my phone, nor on the windowsphone website).

Nokia Gel Case for 920?

Is Nokia planning to release case/cover accessories for Nokia Lumia 920 like Nokia Gel Case that was released with Lumia 900. I found online Nokia CC-1043. But it is not sold anywhere here in the US. Please let me know when and where it will be available for purchase.

Nokia pro cam for lumia 920

Hi I have a nokia Lumia 920, I updated it to amber using nokia software updated for retail. At that time I was able to install nokia pro cam, but I had to reinstall amber because of minor problems and when I tried re installing pro cam it said "this app does not support your device". Please advice me what to do, I really love the pro cam app

Non Availability of Apps in for Lumia 920 in Oman

I bought Lumia 920 in Oman where I Live. Sadly I can't find enough Apps on Phone Apps. These Apps are available on US marcket but not here. I tried to Install Twitter but it said that Apps is not available in this region. Without Twitter .In People app not all functionality of Twitter available.
Also tried to buy the App like Rowi. But failed because the non availability of app for purchase.
Please any one suggest how to buy apps from Oman or Middle East ?

Have you tried going to any nearest Nokia retailer in your area and check if they have available Folio/Wallet case for it? BTW, you can also check our Nokia website for all of the accessories that are compatible with your phone. See this: http://nokia.ly/1xlR7Rb. Perhaps, you'll be interested with the Protective Cover CP-263. It is not the same with what you're looking for but it will protect the phone.

Why no stereo recording for Lumia 920 ?

i have read at Nokia developers website that Lumia 920 have 3 High Dynamic Range Microphones. But during video recording , it does only mono recording despite of having 3 microphones (all knows stereo recording is better than mono) whereas the newly launched Lumia1020 does stereo recording and have only 2 High Dynamic Range Microphones...
My question is : Why no stereo recording in Lumia 92x pureview devices ? or is it coming in future updates(or amber update have it?) .

The notion stereo recording is better is a false one. As the spacing for mics on the 920 is limited resoring in stereo is more a gimmick really. You would probably get similar results if you ran your recordings through a decent audio editor with a plugin creating a stereo illusion with reverb processing.

As a owner of Lumia 920(bought in Jan 2013) , Will there be a Wireless charging plate issued to Lumia 920 users in India for Free.
As i can see it is been issued across to other countries for free. Why not for India.

Anyone know if there are any plans to support MHL and/or DLNA on the Lumia 920 in the future either as a HW specific feature from Nokia or as a platform feature from MS?

On page 3 of the 920 service schematics are two lines labeled VDD_HDMI. I would (naively) guess this has something to do with HDMI video output (and thus MHL). Do you know what it's for?

Headphones Promotion for Lumia 920.

Hello my name is Gabriel Georgescu. I wanted to write you before I posted my dissatisfaction with a phone call that I just had with your Customer Care line (877-906-6542.) First I wanted to say that I have been a long time Nokia customer - my last phone being the Nokia N97 (which was purchased off contract.) Before my recent purchase I was a customer with T-mobile for over 8 years, but I chose to move to AT&T for your flagship product (Nokia Lumia 920.) On the date the 920 became available at the AT&T stores I went and purchased four lumia 920s (1 black - for my dad, 2 red - for my mom and myself, and 1 yellow for my wife) and 4 wireless pads. As of this writing I still have not received the yellow phone nor did I receive the wireless pads. I noticed that since our purchase, the price of the phone was cut in half over the weekend and there is also a promotion for free headsets at http://www.nokiaholidayheadset.com/. When I inquired about the possibility of honoring this for my 4 purchases the lady told me that she could not help me and that I could return the phones and go and purchase them again from the Northridge location. I will do that if I have to, but the only reason I purchased these phones was for the great customer service that Nokia is known for and the quality that you produce. Again I only switched to AT&T for your product, not for AT&T's service. I have been staying away from them for years, but your phone made me take the plunge. We are already buying 2 Nokia JBL PowerUp Speakers and I am an outspoken promoter for your phones, but in this instance I was wondering if you could help us take advantage of this promotion or if I will have to return the phones and purchase new ones in order for us to also get the headphones. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance Gabriel.

Firstly this is a user to user support forum. If you wish to contact Nokia directly you should use the "Nokia support" tab to the bottom right if this screen.
Since you purchased your phones from AT&T, you should really be contacting them about this. How AT&T choose to srll the phones, their pricing policies and promotions are a matter for themselves and nothing to do with nokia. Nokia will have little or no control over them.

When will there be a SIP client for Lumia 920?

I just got my Lumia 920 and am totally dismayed to see there is no SIP client already provided as a Nokia app and (at least as far as I can tell) available in the marketplace . I DID see the info advertising that there would be "deep VOIP integration" in the platform (mentioned in replies to other posts) . In fact, since Nokia has had deep VOIP integration in previous products (on Symbian AND Maemo) this led me top understand and expect it to be there. Will there be a Nokia app? Soon??! Or any news on anyone who is making one?
This is not a "want" it is pretty much a "must" for me as I have a UK Geographic number routed to me via a VOIP service. Which I can only take at home now. Unless I revert to my old (Nokia) phone :-( :-(

Skype app works but that doesn't cut it for me!

Windows Phone 8 has VoIP built into the core system. It is easily available through the developers API and when used VoIP call will look exactly like a normal call and be handled as such. You can view a short clip on this as discussed during the June Developer conference here.
So in short; All the ground work is done my Microsoft. It's upto developers to build the app on top of it.
