After purchasing my N95 I noticed that my Nokia Stereo Headset HS-45, AD-43 for some reason don't work. I can hear sound but all buttons wont work . Can someone tell me how to check is this think working or not. Because I just get burnd from http://www.myworldphone.com/

I don´t understand how Nokia put this battery in this place, not is very easy of change.
1)- Remove the center pin of the clip. Its a small pin that stay into the clip (axis). Need a small needle or similar. Need make carefully but very hard pressure to extract from this place. Take care when quit that don´t loose the spring.
2)- After remove the pin, under this place, you can found a small phillips screw. Remove it.
3)- After remove the screw, with a very thin needle, you can put a bit of pressure into to extract the silver buttons front.
4)- Now be TOO CAREFULLY. Align the LOCK button to can extract the circuit board. TAKE TOO MUCH CARE BECAUSE IN THE CORNER HAVE TOO SMALL CABLES.
5)- After remove the board you can easy see the big CR-2032 battery. The battery are glued to the frame. Remove. Put a new battery glued (by example with the double surface 3M tape red) and close the unit.
I already make this procedure and my unit work fine again!!!

You'll be thoroughly thrilled to know that the N900 does not support complex headsets..
I have a pair of BH905 nokia headphones, frequently shown in official N900 videos being used with a cable..
Unfortunately when plugged into the phone using the cable, the buttons do not work.. in fact I don't believe you can use it has a headset via the cable..
Via bluetooth however, they work marginally better (the headphones crash)
Apparently headset support was removed in favor of TV out.. so head sets with multiple buttons just don't work..
I believe the only headsets that actually work as expected are the ones that ship with the n900..
I must admit, for all its faults, this was the one thing that irritated me most about this incredible media rich by peripheral crippled phone!

Nokia Stereo Headset WH-205 Problem

Hi,
I have some problems using the headset come with my nokia E72 white:
1. When I listen to radio using the headset, the volume is really low, I have to keep pressing the answer button to make it loud. It goes back to low volume when I let it go.
2. When I am listening to music or watching video with the headset, I hear weird noise from the headset and again I have to keep pressing the answer button to make the sound clear. The same happens when I plug the headset into my computer.
Can someone help me with this? Is this a defect?

Hello everybody. I bought a new nokia set e72 with my hard earned money and i only used it for two days and its giving me some problems, Im so down.
The problem is when i insert the WH205 HEADSET ,its bit loose ,i tried to insert it deep but i guess it doesnt go and when i move it ,it gives me voice sometimes at left ear side and sometimes at right ear side.
Also during this it restarts as well. I did a soft reset and hard reset as well. and i also saw some other discussions here to put it deep ,i tried but i think it doesnt go more into it.or may be thers some hardware fault.
I also checked my firmware update,,its not yet available at it. Can some body please tell me how to insert it or show me some pictures or some video,so tht i get some courage to apply more pressue,though i did but it feels like i might break soemthing inside.I tried to use the mic of the headset but it doesnt work also. I received a call. I was hearing the voice form other side but the other person wasnt hearing my voice.

The accessory you are referring to hasn't been released yet, and most likely will be released in the sales package contents of the Lumia 620. It may be provided as a standalone accessory in time, but sometimes these accessories are provided FIRST in the sales package contents, then LATER as a standalone accessory. Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-504 Problem

Hy,
I recently bought myself Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset Bh-504 & a bluetooth device for my laptop. I got told there that i can connect those heatset with my laptop and my mobile, but i could not do that. could i get eany support/help why i could not do that, because my Quidelines clearly sayed " You can use the headset with compatible devices that support Bluetooth wireless technology." It works just fine with my phone, but I WANT IT TO WORK WITH MY LAPTOP.
Help me out in here pleace, or i will return those headset in a couple of days

Hold the multifunction key and then connect to the charger still holding multifunction key.

Stereo Headset (HS-47) not working on Nokia 6650 (...

The manual claims the 2.5mm connector on the phone is for a combatible stereo headset. The Nokia US website does not indicate any compatible headset. The manual does show a HS-47 headset as an accessory. I ordered a HS-47 with the result that only one (the right) speaker works. I returned the HS and received a replacement. Same problem. Is there a setting in the phone that enables the second channel? What did AT&T do to this Phone??? First they took the FM radio out, now you can't even listen to music (it is a music phone) on a stereo headset?

I haven't given up yet. Here's what Nokia tech support said:

Armed with that information, I looked up all compatible phones with the HS-49 headset, since my real goal is to find a working adapter for the Nokia 6650 Fold.
The HDA-11 2.5mm to 2.5mm TTY adapter apparently is compatible with the Nokia 6650 Fold. Nokia Tech Support says when queried specifically about this adapter.
"I am pleased to advise you that our Nokia HDA-11 Adapter is compatible with your Nokia 6650 Fold."
My real goal, however, is to be able to use my Sennheiser headphones (3.5mm jack) with this phone.

Note that the HDA-11 doesn't do the 2.5mm to 3.5mm job directly, it just provides a 2.5mm jack that you can ostensibly plug a 2.5 to 3.5mm adapter into. Since I already have one of these (I bought it when I bought the phone naively thinking that it would allow me to use my headphones) , I've ordered the HDA-11 and will see if the thread listed above also applies to the 6650 Fold.
It's amazing to me that Nokia doesn't provide any way to adapt a standard 3.5mm headphone to this jack.
It's also incredible that they list virtually nothing compatible with the headphone jack on this phone on their website.
Equally frustrating is that Nokia seems to have no interest in fixing any of the above.
Stay tuned to this thread. I'll let y'all know when I get the HDA-11 jack + the 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter lets me use my headphones with this poor excuse for a music phone.

Yes, my point exactly. Forgive me, I should have used the word common, instead of standard.
When you go to a store and want to buy a headset for your mobile, which "standard" are you most likely to see supported? Of all the headphones available today for mobile phones, what percentage of them support Apple vs OMTP? An not those $4.95 cheap things, I'm talking about a decent headset.
The headset that worked with my HTC Titan no longer worked with my 920, in fact after a great deal of searching I only found one decent headset that did, the above mentioned Nokia Purity. So what if it supports a new open standard that no one uses, how did that help me?
The worst thing about this headset is that they were cheap plastic with a terrible mic that suffers from too much wind noise - problems fixed in other manufacturers a long time ago - and because they were made by Monster, they were twice as expensive as they needed to be. I used them gingerly a handful of times and still they broke on me - which was expected.
So a year later, I want to move on and I am here to find out what I can move on too. Neither my Spyder True Voice or my NOCS work. I tried the converter route, didn't work. When I go to Amazon and type in OMTP or AHJ Headset nothing decent shows up. Now the only set that did work are discontinued - so back to my original question, what do I do now?

Stereo headset problems

I have a Blackberry Pearl & a Motorola Bluetooth stereo headset. When I have my phone up above my waist I can hear the music just fine. When the phone is below my waist or when I am running & the phone is in constant motion the music sounds like a CD skipping. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Are there any cases or armbands etc that I can wear that would position my phone up higher? Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I had this problem today. I just got the Motorola S9-HD headset and tried it out the other day with no problems. But today, every time the phone went to sleep the audio would become horrible and cut out constantly. I ended up having to turn auto-lock OFF, and the problem went away, even when the phone was in a pocket.
I tried turning off the headset and then turning it back on, but the problem continued. It finally went away after rebooting the phone.

Problem connectin with bluetooth stereo headset

Iam tryin to connect my z-w88 bluetooth stereo headset with my ipod touch 4g .. Headset has a default passkey 0000 ... My ipod generates a random passkey instead of askin the user to key in the passkey ... ... so i could not pair my headset ... pls help me out !!!

I had tried connecting universal 2.5mm headset to it, but device reported that "Enhancement not supported".Nokia accessory compatibility search give only mono earbud plugs...

I already have a bluetooth headset. The problem is when I am in our data center floor I get too much interference over bluetooth and it becomes basically unsuable. The reason why I am looking for a wired stereo headset.
You can try checkingout the V-moda Vibe duo, or take a look at this list of headsets that have all been tested with the DX. I don't think you will find one that covers all the features you want though, might have to compromise on one of them.

HP Digital Stereo Headset Not Detected

Recently my HP Digital Stereo Headset (Model) VT501AA stopped being detected by my HP ENVY m6 Notebook PC after upgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. I have tried plugging the headset into all four USB ports on the notebook with negative results. The headset is still working as I am able to use it on another netbook PC that I have. Any ideas on how to get this headset working again would be great!

I've been experiencing the same problem with my HP Digital Stereo Headset (Model) VT501AA on my HP ENVY TouchSmart m6 Sleekbook. I never used the headset before upgrading to Windows 8.1, but now I can see just there is where the problem lies.
