Nokia Store - No description for anything

Is there a problem with the Nokia Store?
When i access it from either my N8 or 808 i can see all the apps in the usual way but the description for each one is missing making it very hard to even tell what some apps do.
Its only been like this for the last few days, it has always been fine before that.
Im now having to use my computer to check what the app description is before downloading it...
Anyone else having the same problem?

X2 how to disable nokia store update option?

I am using nokia x2 android phone.by the way,when i tried to open nokia store it asks me to update it.but i dont want to update my nokia store.im love to stick to factory settings and default versions of apps. How can i open my nokia store without goin for a update ? I cant open my nokia store because of this irritating request for store's update.it does not even have any skip option.what can i do now?

there is improvement in terms of display and payment option, also some bugs are fixed, i never had any problem of updating the store or os, it is has been ok for me

We are fellow users here on these forums. Have you tried logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged in and seeing if it then works ?

As of today, neither sample songs on the music store nor songs already downloaded will play correctly. They are stuttery and slow. I have iTunes 10.5 and have not downloaded any upgrades for anything recently. They were working last night. Thoughts?

I found a solution that worked for me. Here is what I did and where I found it.
"Looks like I tracked down the problem, it worked for me so I hope this works for everyone else experiencing problems. Go to your Task Manager and locate the program APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push)..... if you see this executing terminate the program and then startup iTunes and it should come up fine. You will see afterwards that APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push) starts back up but this is fine as long as iTunes has already started.
I tried playing both music and syncing up my iPhone with no problems. Note if you shutdown iTunes again you will have to terminate the process APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push) again. Haven't had time to see what in the world Apple Push is but this appears to have corrected the problem so that you can at least use iTunes and sync any device that needs to be synced.

Nokia Store Suggestion for a Feature

Hello, I have a suggestion that will make downloading games in the Nokia Store easier.
I like downloading free games, but it's seriously annoying to download a game, only to find out later that it requires internet connection, that I don't have.
I want that Nokia will mark games like that, so that people will know before downloading, that the game requires internet connection. It will save a lot of time for many users. If Nokia can mark free or not free, it can also mark internet or no internet.
Thank you and I hope you will consider my idea.

Skype for Symbian / Nokia Store Issue / Update Sky...

Well this is actually utterly and bitterly disapointing from Skype and / or Microsoft and could actually be embarassing... In what world are they living? Greed and more profit making? Excuse me but we did not see any official statement yet concerning the drop / end of Skype support of the Symbian platform.
1) How come Skype randomly disapears from the Nokia Store without warning or an official statement from Skype and / or Microsoft?
2) Why would there be discriminating towards Symbian / Nokia users who are forced to use an out of date version of Skype without support for Microsoft account login?
3) Isn't Skype / Microsoft shooting themselves into their own legs? Own goal? Why would I spend for a new Nokia phone using Windows 8 Mobile OS ( and I have the money to do it ) when I got a fully working Symbian Nokia that does all what I need? Carefull, this strategy might just make people disgusted of Nokia thus indirectly the Windows 8 Mobile OS.... as we all know of the relationship between Nokia and Microsoft nowadays.
4) The ridiculous statements I see on these forums about the phasing out of Symbian sometimes make me laugh. The developpers are just causing this artificial phase out by just being like rats leaving a sinking ship. Just show with proof that the Symbian needs a phase out... From what I know it is still very popular in Europe and Africa.
I am suprised that I had to have an outburst on these forums... I am a huge fan of Skype and the Microsoft products... Xbox and so on. But well anyway these were my points. I hope that this will be taken into consideration even though I am sure Symbian users would not ask too much, an update to be able to use the Microsoft account login would stop the inegality between the platforms concerning the ability to talk to our Msn / messenger contacts....

Yes your Skype for Symbian FAQ (6/2013) was of great help a few days ago when I was surprised to find that Skype had mysteriously disapeared from the Nokia / OVI Store. I had an issue with the Skype install I had on my Nokia 500 running Symbian Belle, on which I had installed Skype from Nokia / OVI store since last year, so I had to un-install it. So I went for a re-install but nothing... no Skype on Nokia / OVI Store so I tried your FAQ.

If you are talking about iBird Pro HD, it is for iPad only. There is an iBird Explorer Pro app that is for both iphone and iPad. Same company. See all their apps here: http://www.ibird.com/
If the app you are looking at does not say it is for the iPhone, don't buy it. You'll own an app you can't use (unless you buy an iPad to go with it).

Cyclic update prompt for apps with Nokia store.

Apps like Molome, FlickrUp, LinkedIn etc comes under updates available section even after updating them!!

Hi Srikanthsd,
This may be that the update is not completed properly. I advise you to uninstall these apps manually from your device, and reinstall them via "my stuff" in Nokia Store.
Alternatively, please also check for software updates though Nokia Suite (Tools > Software Updates). And download them if any is available.

My new Nokia x6 stores call log for only 3 days even though i set up it for 30 days? Any one facing this issue? How to overcome this? PLs help. Thanx in advance...

Have read on this forum.. suggesting to first change the Call Log duration to say 1 day.. Re-boot the phone .. then change it back to 30 days.. and re-boot the phone..
..also in some cases the no. of entries also caused the problem.. though the setting is for 30 days if there is a lot more no. of entries under the log.. it is getting erased automatically.. Some users pointed out that it was happening in their case when there are few applications that required periodic connection to the network for updates (like e-mail, weather applications, etc..) and frequent logs were getting created...

Nokia Suite/Nokia Store finally working

I had not tried downloading/installing an app from the Nokia store from within Nokia Suite in quite a while, as it never seemed to work. On a lark, I decided to see whether anything had changed since installing the latest version of Nokia Suite. To my surprise, the selection of apps offered was correct for my phone; the selected apps were downloaded and installed in one step, and the 4 apps that I tried out all worked. I'm glad that Nokia has finally apparently gotten the kinks out of the procedure, as this is now on par with its equivalent through Apple/iOS or through Google/Android.

I think development of Nokia Suite has already stopped.
