Nokia Suit problem when I update to nokia belle

Hi,All
Now iam updating my e6-00 to nokia belle using nokia suit
It take 45 minutes to downloading 305 MB of the update then it takes 1 hour and still till now showing the moving circle which indicates download is still running with two words ::
"creating account..."
I don't know what the proper thing that I must do now
If I press cancel or back does my phone have any prob???
plz help me

    I would suggest you try and update to the latest Ovi Store, now called Nokia Store.
    With your phone's browser go to the following address:
    http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3
    you should then get the option to install the latest Nokia Store client, and this should include new QT files. Corrupt QT files are usually the problem when installations from the Nokia/Ovi Store fails.

    first,you must add the following two lines to Apache mime types:
    text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jad
    application/java-archive           jar
    second,you must specify the absolute address of your jar file in the MIDlet-Jar-URL which in the jad file,such as:

  • Nokia Suite: Can't connect to Service (Nokia C5-05...

    I updated Nokia Suite with the new version 3.4.49 recently and after that I am not able to install any app from Nokia Ovi store. Whenever I click "Download via PC", the Nokia Suite gives the error "Can't connect to service".
    Please refer to the attached image.
    How to resolve the issue?

    Copied from a member of the Nokia Developer Team. It worked for me.
    "This problem can be also because of expired certificates that you have on your computer.
    To remove the problematic certificates, do the following:
    On your computer, open Control Panel and click Internet Options.
    In the Internet Properties window, select the Content tab, and click Certificates.
    In the Certificates window, select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tab.
    To sort the certificates, click the Expiration Date column header.
    Select any GTE CyberTrust certificates that have their expiration date in the past. You should be left with one GTE CyberTrust certificate that is valid.
    Click Remove and, when asked for confirmation, click Yes.
    After the expired certificates have been removed, please restart Nokia Suite and try signing into your Nokia account again"

  • Problem with software update of Nokia C6-00

    I have:
    Software version: v 11.0.029
    Type: RM-612
    I tried to update the  20.0.042 version by two ways - by software updated app on mu phone and through ovi program installed in my computer, but both ways do not work. If I try to update through the phone the update procedure starts and the phone restarts and appear window with progress line of the update, but before any part of the line to be filled (indicating the update progress) the phone resrarts again and when load appear message that the update is not compatible with my phone. This update is found automatically by my phone software update app and ovi program.
    When I try to update using ovi program on the final step of the procedure appear error message that the usb connection to my phone has been lost and I have to restart the procedure.
    I tried both procedures several times, even after full hard reset, but still it does not work.
    Please help.
    P.S. When I try to install new firmware, no new firmware is available. Do you now when possibly will be released a new firmware for C6-00.

        Repairing Nokia Ovi Suite
    1. Uninstall your old Nokia Ovi Suite
    2. Download Latest Nokia Ovi Suite here: http://www.comms.ovi.com/m/p/ovi/suite/index_en_uk.html 
    3. Install to C: Drive or D: Drive
    4. Finish Installation
        Repairing Phone Firmware
    1. Turn Off your phone,remove the battery for 5 min. then put it back and ON your phone
    2. Now Dial *#7370* for restoring Factory Settings
    3. After Restoring, put your country,correct time & date
    4. Connect your Phone using USB Wire in your PC/Laptop
    5. Wait for the notification that your phone has ready to use or connected
    6. Go to Nokia Ovi Suite>Options>Software Update
    7. Wait for the Available Updates Example: Firmware for you phone
    8. Install it, for your FW: It is normally to turn your phone's off because it is re;installing your FW
       But make sure that your phone is fully charge,USB must not be disconnected in anyways
    IF this steps not working.Try Nokia Software Updater. Download and Install it
    then follow the instruction.
    IF still not working, Go to your nearest Nokia Care Center,they will be the one to Install it to your phone. but there is corresponding payment if your phone is not covered by WARRANTY.

  • Nokia Suite crash when syncing videos

    Hi,
    I recently installed Nokia Suite 3.2.100 and experienced some problems:
    While trying to import videos that were on computer from my E52, by adding a watch folder, Nokia Suite stopped working.
    Even if I tried to sync some new videos from my E52 (with most recent SW), the application crashed.
    If the former version of Ovi Suite is installed, I can sync videos normally.
    Is there something I can do, to be able to use the new Nokia suite without crashing?

  • Problem with Firmware update for nokia 5800 xm ver...

    I updated my nokia 5800 xpressmusic yesterday to version 40.0.005 and everything is ok, apart from I can't access my dialer or my contacts from my home screen, so how is it possible to make any calls? Can anyone help me please?

    jjegen seems to have differently than I. From what I see, tapping on the dialler and contacts on homescreen does nothing?
    Your phone settings have had trouble. I would suggest restoring factory settings.
    Go to MainMenu>green button>you will see the dialler. Type in *#7780# and enter your security code.
    If that does not work:
    Soft reset is *#7370# - this deletes all data on phone memory so make sure you have a backup.
    OR
    A hard reset (x6, 5800 and 5230 only) is done by the following (warning, this deletes all data on your phone):
    1.) Turn off the phone and remove battery for 5min
    2.) Reinsert battery
    3.) Press and hold the green, red and camera buttons. DO NOT LET GO.
    4.) While holding the three buttons, press the power key to boot the phone up.
    5.) Keep on pressing until you see the country selection screen.
    A correctly done hard reset would show you that everything on the phone (contacts, messages, calendar entries, etc) would be deleted. So it is advisable to back them up. Upon restoration, do not restore settings or files if possible.

    I recently updated my E7-00 from Anna to Belle and lost all my map favorites in the process.
    Although I did a full backup of my phone before the update I have since found out that Nokia Suite does not backup map favorites.
    The Belle update did NOT make a copy of my map favorites, it wiped them out completely.
    Nowhere have I seen that information before.  When I updated to Anna I did not lose my map favorites.
    There should be a warning about this before starting the Belle update.
    The Belle Update FAQ states that after the update one of the things one can do immediately is access map favorites - NOT!
    I have since learned, by searching online, that I am expected to sync my map favorites online with a Nokia server.  I do not want to store my confidential information on someone else's server.  Additionally, I don't pay for data service because it is so expensive here in Canada.  So I would have to connect my phone via USB to my PC.
    Nokia Suite backs up my contacts, photos,music, documents, etc.  Why not my map favorites?  In fact I store my music, photos, documents, and even contact information separate from my phone so I don't need Nokia Suite for that.  But how do I copy my GPS coordinates off my phone for backup?
    2nd level tech support suggested I recreate them all by browsing the maps on my phone and selecting the locations.  That is so inaccurate, time consuming, and wrong.  Supposedly they have passed my problem onto 3rd level tech support.
    Does anyone know if one can import map coordinates into a symbian phone?  I have many of the locations stored in another GPS application on a laptop.  I can export them from there.  That would be a partial solution.

    I might suggest a Wi-Fi connection for access to the 'net, but let me assume that storing anything on a different server is not an option.  So, what remains...
    The least expensive, and simplest, method would be for you to buy any second Nokia phone that runs Nokia Maps.  I use Nokia's Phone Switch technology to transfer all my maps data to a second phone.  I'll have to do it again, so I can give you specific instructions on the "how", but the bottom line is it does work.
    As to importing and exporting GPS Coordinates, I learned by accident that you can enter favorites by using GPS coordinates - and can also find the coordinates for something you have already entered.
    A free program that I think is invaluable for using Maps on a Nokia, especially the N8, is "LeGPSData2".  I used their older version for years, until the certificate expired and I was unable to upload it to my N8, but the new version is considerably better.  You might find a way to do other things you mentioned with that program - and if not, you might suggest them (import/export) to the program author.
    If you are as careful as you suggest you are, don't you have backups that you've already done on your PC?  Have you tried to find your GPS data in those backups? 
    I can't speak for others, but regardless of what Nokia saiys would or woud not happen during the phone update, I don't "trust" any of it.  I did my own backups two ways, as a complete bacakup on the PC, and as a phone backup on the memory card.  I "think" but can't confirm, that the GPS data was backed up by both of them.
    You're right - Nokia should fix the Belle installation script to also backup and re-install the maps data, if there is something wrong, but on my phone it did it all correctly following their instructions (in addition to my other backups, which I never needed). 
    If I get some free time, I'll see if I can get the import/export to work using Maps and LeGPSData2.  It would be nice to do this to one location, multiple locations, or all locations.  It would be nice to send this data to another phone directly, or to save it as a file.

    I also have a 4G ipod touch and a similar problem. Since I updated to the ios5 software any new songs I add to my iTunes don't sync to my ipod main playlist. They show up in the 'recently added' playlist, but not in the main 'songs' section. I fixed the problem once by restoring to factory settings and rather than reinstalling from a backup, I created a new ipod name and synced everything onto my ipod as if it was new.
    This worked until the next new song I added and then the same problem started all over again. If you do reinstall everything as new, you may want to take a screen shot of where all your apps are and make sure all your photos etc are saved, as everything will be from scratch. Hope this helps!
