Nokia Suite/NSU Update

Hi all
There are some discussions that Belle has started rolling out... Cool. There is no mention of updating via NSU, especially for users, like myself, who experienced problems with the Nokia Suite since it was launched.
Can somebody confirm (Nokia confirmation will be highly appreciated) if the update will be possible via NSU?

You have a problem with you environment setup and our team try to help you to resolve your problem. You have been contacted a lot of times via email but you do not reply on those.
Last email has been sent to you 26.01 and still no reply. 
When our team trying to reproduce your problem with the same environment setup. You just complain on the forum about your problem but don't do anything to fix it.
It has been created already several error reports just for your problem but I had close those because you do not reply and we can't proceed with this issue.

    A friend of mine has upgraded his N8 into Belle lately ,
    We searched in his PC for the update files and found them (( I have an N8 too and want  to upgrade it))

    If your have a computer and it has an internet connection, why not do a fresh download and upgrade. Using someone else's files to upgrade may cause permanent damage to your phone. So many people have regretted this decision. Best thing to do your own update.

  • Nokia suite and updating bella software

    when i connect my nokia n8 to my pc and use the pc suite, the suite just works for a while, and then I get a message that it has stopped working. Also, whenever I go to 'software update' on the suite, I am not given a list of softwares to update for my phone.why? I want to update my phons's software to belle.I need help.

  • Nokia suite maps updating / no free space availble...

    i wanted to update the maps of my E6, but the nokia suite tells me it is not possible as it needs 3,40 GB.
    But it also tells me i have 4,96 GB available..
    Please advise

    I have retested it again
    My mobile has 1,61 GB maps installed.
    The update of only one country is not possible as there is only a button to do this globally for all.
    When i select "update all maps / Karten aktualisieren" then i get this well know error massage that 3,4 GB are needed but only 4,96 GB are available.
    It sounds to make sence that the 1,61 GB will be downloaded in one zip and this extraction will take again ~ 1,6 GB. Then we have this 3,4 GB.
    But it seems to be a SW bug in the Suite that it is not working also if there are some GB more than the limit available.
    For me we can stop here.
    I will go on with delete all maps and install again all i need

  • Is the Nokia Suite Software Update Broken?

    How come I don't see any updates when I plug in my phone via USB but I see some updates when I visit the Ovi Store with my phone? I have a 808 Pureview. E.g. I currently have Nokia Public Transit (or Transport?) 2.0.1. Viewing the Ovi Store shows me that Public Transit 2.1 is available via Ovi Store but not through Software Update? The same was true when I had Maps 3.0.8 initially and Software Update didn't show Maps 3.0.9, etc.

    Not quite sure why it isn't showing up with updates to notify you of. Unfortunately, there is no other way to look for them. Kudos to you for knowing other places to look for it, so you've got it covered. If you've updated all the major apps, then you should be fine. I know that on my N8 i've had app updates but the Store only notified me when I went into the app from my app purchase history

    when i try upgrading my C7, the nokia suit says it's update service is currently unavailable even after 3 days and after updating it to nokia suit v.3.3.86

    Hi all, few comments:
    - first, make sure that you have latest Nokia Suite installed and in use (you can see version number in top right corner of Nokia Suite)
    - check, that Nokia Belle update is available for your product code (you can find list from here: http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/nokia-belle-update/nokia-belle-update-availability) 
    - In Nokia Suite, it's recommended to have Tools -> Options "Automatically download software updates" turned on (this way Nokia Suite downloads update packages in background to your PC, so update experience is smoother)
    - Additionally, make sure, that if you have any firewall software in your PC, that Nokia Suite is allowed to connect to internet
    - Additionally, you can in Nokia Suite Tools -> Software updates click "Refresh", then Nokia Suite checks for latest information from Nokia's server

  • Unable to update E63 firmware via Nokia Suite

    Hi,
    I've tried to update my E63 software using Nokia Suite v3.3.86 but in vain.
    The steps I've followed in the 3rd step fo update process (i.e. Install) are as follows with screenshots attached:
    1. It checks for valid installation file (see attached "Installation file validation.png").
    Since the update has been downloaded by it previously, it proceeds to next step.
    2. It starts preparing to install (see attached "Preparing to install.png").
    3. It show USB connection active screen with a windows notification saying "Nokia E63 disconnected via USB" is seen on "Install screen". (see attached "Install Screen.png" for "Install Screen").
    4. Next with the same USB connection active screen, a windows notification saying "Nokia E63 connected via USB" is seen on "Install screen".
    5. The windows notification disappears and the screen is still at the "Install Screen" (see attached "Install Screen.png").
    6. Nothing happens even after waiting for  a long time. Clicking "Next" repeats the above mentioned process from step 2.
    Dialing "*#0000#" gives the following info:
    "500.21.009
    02-06-2010
    RM-437
    (c) Nokia E63-1 (308.06)"
    I'm an advanced computer and mobile user and can perform specific system tasks. If there is any solution to the above issue, please let me know.

    Well, it was disheartening to see that Nokia didn't provide new NSU direct link. Had to get an older version from non-Nokia site. Though after install it updated itself to a newer version but would've really appreciated if Nokia would've provided NSU as official download.

  • Problem with Nokia Suite updating e71 firmware

    I had to do a hard reset on my e71 and now I'm trying to update the 400.21.013 firmware from Nokia suite, but an error occurs. It says that I need to disconnect the phone and try again. Then it says that if that doesn't work, to reinstall Nokia suite. I have done this with no succes and still getting the same error message. What can I do to update the firmware? Also is it possible to update to one of the earlier firmwares that is no longer listed currently on the support site?? Thanks for any help and suggestions.

    Have you tried using NSU? I can't guarantee if it'll work, it's a known issue now that the Suite is giving some users, including myself, a hard time in updating software.
    Also try older versions of Ovi Suite, could possibly work.
    Hope you get your phone back up and running.

  • Nokia Suit problem when I update to nokia belle

    Hi,All
    Now iam updating my e6-00 to nokia belle using nokia suit
    It take 45 minutes to downloading 305 MB of the update then it takes 1 hour and still till now showing the moving circle which indicates download is still running with two words ::
    "creating account..."
    I don't know what the proper thing that I must do now
    If I press cancel or back does my phone have any prob???
    plz help me

  • No Belle Update On Nokia Suite

    I live in the uk, with a c7 running anna. I connect my phone to the pc, and the recognizes it, so i go to the update section in nokia suite 3.3.86, it then says my phones current software is 022.014, i click refresh, and it says my phone is up to date, but i know it isnt!!! I have been looking forward to symbian belle, now its here i cant get it!!!!

  • Updating with nokia suite

    hi there, my wife and i both have the same model phone ( nokia n8-00 ) i have nokia suite on my computer and my phone syncs with it and i updated to nokia belle no problems. my question is, is it possible to connect my wifes n8-00 to the same nokia suite, is there anything i need to do to prevent all our contact details, photos, videos etc etc etc  from mashing together, thank you

    Welcome to the forums!
    Nokia Suite should automatically identify phone by it's unique product code, preventing the information and data getting mashed together.
    If you want to play safe, you can always create another Windows user account/login for your wife.

    Anyone else having problems with Nokia suite update facility, it wont refresh just says that it is out of service and try later, could this mean belle is coming????  God i want it, hope its as good as we all expect it to be

    just a little background info from telstra. they have had the update from release. it comes down to the fact that there were so many fixes to anna they didnt think it fair to keep testing it. as for the emergency call that was an issue where when our emergency numbers were called the phone wouldnt call the number and it also caused the phone to freeze, i was told of alot of other issues whithin the update. telstra are now focusing on haveing there updates page update more often and correctly.
    i have not had any proplems while and after updating my n8 to anna. which goes to show that telstra have released a perfect version of anna. oo and new nokia phones are on the way to telstra.. ill let you work out what they are

    I recently bought a new Nokia C6-00 phone on 1-12-2010 and ever since it keeps turning off by its own in various situations - no matter if the phone just lies on the table .The battery is full,even if the phone is not connected to any device.
     sometimes when  I lock the keyboard and put the phone  elsewhere  it  switches off, without any warning. ...............The most annoying thing is that if I want to switch it  on again, I have to take out the battery, wait a couple of seconds, then try turning it on again. Otherwise it won't work!..........and it usually hav the problem of hanging.....and sometimes when i lock my phone  n when try to unlock it ,it sometime do nota unlock also......!!!!
    It stArted giving problem after 4-5 days of purchase, when i told abt this to the retailer[a retailer of Rajajipuram, Lucknow], he gave me the option of replacing it......
    i hav been to nokia care 3-4 times but they always update the software and then after sometime it again starts giving the same problem.........and i also asked the nokia care to replace it with the new one bt they are ignoring my request.....................N NOW I WANT TO REPLACE IT BY HOOK OR CROOK!!!!!!
    what should i do???????
            i should case against nokia for not co-operating with its customers???????

  • How to block update for NOKIA SUITE?

    It is very bad that NOKIA SUITE does not have any checkbox to limit update or make it possible MANUALLY.
    How to do it as constant is update each day and I do not need.
    I think when I send SMS per  NOKIA SUIT it will still not store message not even in NOKIA SUIT.

    I am trying to update my E7-00 to Belle.
    I keep on getting the following message
    Your Computer is running low on space
    Then a long message comes below it and insists I must have 1.5 gig on my   \\s drive.
    Says a little lower you need to you need to delete or move 0mb from your \\s drive
    Firstly my pc has 29 G free on C
    The network share's have 21 G free
    What is this "\\s"  the update keeps referring to ?

    The same issue emerged when I attempted to update N8-00 to Belle using windows pc with over 100GB free space.  Installation was initiated from Nokia Suite 3.386 with backup location set to c:\temp.  After the initial backup, which appeared to be successful, the install program announced that drive W: is running low on space, as others have reported, and offered retry or cancel options.  The install program does not appear to recognized the defined backup folder location.
