Nokia Suite says no update available for X2-02, bu...

Hello,
I have an X2-02 with firmware version 10.90.
I searched the web for any update available to, perhaps get ride of bugs, and I did found one here: http://www.btusers.com.ar/nan/nokia/releases.php?id=2218645&rid=6975978703&pid=3682065312&firm=10.91
It's the version 10.91
But when I tried to install it using Nokia Suite (v. 3.3.89), I got the message: no update available for your device!!!
How this is possible!!?? There's one on the net! And some people did the update (perhaps by using commercial Boxes... don't know)
So I'm here to ask Nokia to fix this issue so we can update our devices.

I managed my self to update it to 10.91 with no probs, but I can't find any valid software v11.57
And now, Nokia Suite says that the software is v10.91 and that I can reinstall it if I encountred any problem with the device, I did it just to see if now I can download it, and YES I CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a new SW update available for Nokia C2-02 and Nokiw C2-03: version 7.63. These device models are also sold as C2-06/C2-07/C2-08 on certain regions. The update is already available via Nokia Suite, FOTA update should be coming out sooner or later as well. I will post an update about the here later on.

Try to reinstall the software of your Nokia C2-02. Using Nokia Suite click on Tools > Software update > Reinstall.
If in case you can't reinstall the software, try doing a master reset. Go to Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings > Restore All.
Note: Create a backup first before doing any kind of reset to avoid deletion of data. If prompted for a lock code, enter 12345 unless you changed it.

If anybody faces "Internal error. Either your device’s software of hardware (or both) is not compatible…" error message when attempting to update their phone to this 3.90 version, check your product code with *#0010# and report me the code that is listed after "content:" field.

That error message is usually indicative of a problem with the App Store. If you look through the forums, you'll see that a number of people are experiencing the problem. Try again tomorrow.

it's also likely that you used two different apple IDs to purchase apps. if that's the case then you simply have to log out of your app store, and log into the other account to update the apps.
from experience it's not possible to syncronise purchased content from two different accounts. but you can always give Apple a call.

Thanks for you reply. I'm 99% positive that I'm using the user id and password that I used to set up my computer. That's why I'm stumped. I read the solution someone else suggested (type your user name without @gmail and create a new password. When I tried it, I was asked for my birthday. It didn't recognize it. I know I got my birthday correct. Oh well...

It is the same installer. You can run it as 30-days trial (CC version) and decide later for CC or stand-alone. To license as stand-alone, follow this guide.
If you already have the LR6 license key, you can enter it during setup and do not need to follow the guide.

The update is currently temporarily available on via FOTA (and not via Nokia Suite). There was a small problem with automatic user data restore with Nokia Suite after the update, which is currently being investigating. If you already updated your device with Nokia Suite, you might have to trigger the userdata restore manually from "tools->restore".

E61 no update available for Austrian E61?

Since the nokia update team encourages to post if there´s no update available BUT there´s certainly one, i´ll do so. Hope that helps:

When you say there certainly is one, do you mean you know there is one for product code 0538097? The updates are released for specific product codes, so just because other unbranded E61's are updatable doesn't mean yours is ...

Still no firmware update available for E71 RM-346

Hi,
According to Nokia (http://europe.nokia.com/A4577225), there should be a firmware update available for the E71 (update from version 100.07.76 to 110.07.127.
I checked my product code (0569803) on http://europe.nokia.com/A4577224 "Can I update my Nokia device software?" and it tells me, that there is no update available:
"Latest available software for Nokia E71, product code 0569803
Version: 100.07.76" (> same firmware version which I currently have on my phone.)
Does anybody know, when there will be a firmware update available for the E71 with product code 0569803?

I have an e71-1 (RM-346) and to this day i still cannot get an update. the phone freezes on mid answer and yet i still cannot fix it the phone came with firmware 200.21.118 and the nokia site says they are aup update 300.21.114 and other telling me they ave version 400.00.00 on theirs

Firmware update available for 6230?

new to this so sorry if its all been said before.
I have a 6230 that I am loathe to get rid of, its a good phone, I wondered if there was a firmware update available for my current phone and how much Nokia charge for updating it as it is out of warranty.
Any help/advice would be most appreciated.

The issues with the 6233 in a carkit are well publicised within these forums, I'll just give you a brief rundown.
No 'lights on always' option, some say this is because of some EU directive, however it is rumoured that the 6233 is prone to screen burn. Either way it's a downright danger at night because your eyes down have time to adjust to the brightness when someone calls you or if you chose to make a call.
You cannot record your own voicetags, an automatic voicetag system is in place for all contacts meaning for example instead of recording your own tag for the contact 'John A Mobile' as 'John', you'll have to say 'John A Mobile' and hope the 6233 understands you and doesn't either give you a list or pick the wrong contact altogether.
Key 2 is now reserved for the video mailbox, so you cannot assign it as a speed dial key.
Ring/Alert tones set at level 5 (maximum) do not ringout at full blast at first, they ascend. Not really an issue with a carkit, just annoys me as I can barely hear the SMS tone.
Apart from all the above, I find the 6233 really good for texting and as a 3g bluetooth modem.
If I had the choice again I'd either stick with the 6230 or put the money towards an offline 6230i for the slightly larger screen and because you don't have to change the cradle.
