Nokia Video Manager (PC program)

I wanted to make use of Nokia Video Manager program to make an own Video available for my Nokia N95 8GB. Does any one knows whether their is a Nokia Video Manager program available for the Nseries and where I can find that one?
I do find a Video Manager for non-Nseries phones and I downloaded that one, however it says during installation that it requires a PC Suite version 6.83.0 or higher. The latest Nokia NSeries PC Suite however is version 6.80.0 and the general Nokia PC Suite for non-Nseries phones is not compatibel with the N95 8GB.
Who can help me?

Try do the convertion with Super - eRightSoft. For me it´s the best convert araoun (it´s free).

  • Nokia Video Manager - Upside down and back to fron...

Have been trying to convert some avi(DivX) files to watch on my N95 using the Nokia Video Manager. Converts the files fine and all but they are upside down and back to front??? Have seen that a few people on the net have had the same problem but have not seen a solution to or reason for the problem.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    I am using
    XP service pack 1
Firmware version 10.0.018 (although this is not the problem as it plays upside down and back to front on my PC as well)
    All languages are English
The file was a DivX copy of a DVD, I'm not sure which program I used to convert it but all my video files are doing this. Can you suggest a file from the internet which you know to work that i can download and see if it still does the same thing?
    Cheers

  • Nokia Video Manager 1.5 does not install!

According to the download page of Nokia Video Manager 1.5 (http://europe.nokia.com/A4370009), the program should run under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
I have downloaded the program and give it a try on Windows XP x64, however, I get the following error during installation:
[!] The operating system is not adequate for running Nokia Video Manager.
Is there a way I can get the program running under Windows x64?

Ha ha ha, you are askin bout super preset, many times ago a young person was asked to make a sticky video thread but he was so lazy, he could not make it.
For MP4 solution the most common preset is:
29.97 FPS (Depends on the phone)
    1.5 MBPS>384 KBPS.
    320*240 pixel rez.
Most importantly, when you hit the FAQ page on the product page of any nokia website just ask or type the video encoding and a very useful (tho' quite long) topic will appear.
I learnt a lot from that one.

    Hi jguilffoy
For more information on this suject type "N95 mp4 video" into "Search Discussions" at top right of your screen.
An authority on this subject is "professor" el_loco as it can depend upon bitrates and codecs to plays atisfactorily
There are software applications to make conversion easier:
    Try: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
This is FREE requiring JRE but download link is a bit of a pain to find on website!

  • Problem with Nokia Video Manager - No video, only ...

    Hi all,
I have a problem with nokia video manager. I have been converting movies to mp4 and watching with my cell phone for a while now. But all the videos I have converted were less than 30 min. long.
When I tried to watch a video longer than 36 minutes, the picture froze some time around 36th minute and only the sound continued to play. I have tried several other videos with similar lenghts and all seem to freeze at the same exact point. The player continues to play the sound after picture freezes.
    Could someone please help ???
    Regards
    /Cenk

I can't convert any of my AVIs to MP4 and when I try I get the message:

See the log file for more information."
And I don't even know where the log file is!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    My info:
    Phone: N95
    OS: Microsoft Windows XP
    Build 2600
    Service Pack 2
    Nokie PC Suite version: 6.83.14.1

This app converted my video files just fine(i have .mov, .wmv and .avi videos on my PC).
Have you tried other videos that .avi? Does the video manager play the original file?

  • Can i use nokia video manager for converting video...

Can i use nokia video manager for converting videos will this support n79

Only be aware that Nokia video tools only work for videos that are not longer than 35 minutes.
Also the quality is not very good, you can get better results from other encoders.
Lastly they are Really slow compared to other tools available.
640K Should be enough for everybody

  • Nokia Video Manager doesn't show video after 35min...

I think this has been posted before, but does any1 have a solution for this yet? Whenever the converted MP4 file reaches 35mins 45sec, the video freezes for a few seconds on the phone, the screen goes black, but the audio continues. I am using Nokia Video Manager to convert AVI files to MP4. I'm using version 1.5.20, which i believe is the latest version of the video manager software. I have tried 3 or 4 different AVI files, so the problem is not the original file, which is viewable on the PC without any problems. I have a Nokia 6210 Classic phone.
Any help will be kindly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Don't shoot AVCHD Lite. If you are going to shoot that then you'll need to use iMovie to edit and process it.

  • Nokia Video Manager can't find any videos :S

Up until now, I only just realised that when I plug my Nokia N95 (non-8GB) into my computer via usb, and open up Nokia NSeries PC Suite to click into Video Manager, I can't search for Videos on my computer.
I choose the root folder (My Documents) to scan, and there's literally 10/20 videos there (some mp4, some wmv, some 3gp) that don't get found by the scan.
It can scan for up to 30/40minutes, and when it finds nothing I click 'stop search', to which Video Manager requires me to force close it as it freezes.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? or an alternate method to get videos from my PC to my Phone?
Also, I can put videos from my phone to pc, just can't search for files on my pc to phone.

Hi, the videos which you have stored in PC, right click on that and select "open with" there you will get a window by listing few programmes, So select "Nokia Multimedia Player". Might be you will be clear.
You won't get a second chance to create a first good impression.

  • Nokia Video Manager - "Remove from list" deletes t...

Hi I'm using the version 7.1.30.9 of PC suite. I was trying to convert some videos earlier and had to cancel a couple of them. On the transfer page, I cancelled the conversion process and also clicked on "Remove from list" on the bottom right corner. I've since then tried to re-convert the videos I had previously cancelled and removed from the list. However it looks like the "Remove from list" button not only removes the video from the transfer list but it also deleted the videos from the computer!! I've tested it with a couple more videos and they are all deleted and nowhere to be found now.
Can someone please let me know if this is intended or if it's a bug in the program? I am using Windows XP and I did not have my phone attached when I was putting videos to convert.
    Thanks,
    toph3r

    Hi,
Could you please check this issue with latest PC Suite 7.1.40.1?  If it still fails
