I recently updated to the new iOS through my computer with my iPhone 4 pluged in via USB. It has shut down my phone and just shows the iTunes icon with the USB cord to plug in. When I try to sync my phone with the computer iTunes does not recognize it!! So now my iPhone is useless and I really need it back to working order!! Please help......Hilda

I have installed safari but it is not working and showing the error message
i have downloaded a latest version of safari and as i install it it is saying something like this
"Your copy of safari is missing important software resources. Please reinstall safari"
and even if i install it it says the same on opening safari after reinstalling i hate slow speed and i want it please help me ie8 is very bad to use

Perhaps try uninstalling both Safari and Apple Application Support, and then reinstalling Safari (which should also reinstall Apple Application Support). Does safari now launch without the error message? -

i have an ipod touch it is either a second or third edition and i have just had to restore it to factory setting as it was not working and now the wifi on the device is no longer working. Is there anything i can do about this?

One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Have you tried re-building the artwork?
Try unchecking "display album artwork" in the music preferences section when your iPod is connected and click "apply". Then sync your iPod.
Then check "display album artwork" in the music preferences section when your iPod is connected and click "apply". Then sync your iPod again.
This should resync the album artwork to the iPod.
If this does not work, you might need to restore the iPod and reload the songs in order to correct this error. -
i converted my videos to mp4 but itunes still refuses to let it work and shows a winow that says "....... (item) an not be copied to itunes because it can not work on your ipad" although mp4 files are supposed to work on my ipad. i tranfered all music and pictures to itunes but i can't transefer my videos. What should i do?
Since I am impatient and can't wait for 90 minutes for an answer, I have decided to lose everything on my iPod and try to remember all the songs I had on them. But if anyone can help me prevent this in the future, that woud be great!

Prepared to uninstall iTunes and start all over again, but how do I do this?hi mate i think i may have just solved this for you. had the same problem as you, i uninstalled all apple products and quicktime and safari, did a disk clean up and deleted old restore points(might not need to but did it anyway) downloaded itunes from explorer and managed to install the new itunes 11 wooohooooo hope this helps buddy

Connect iPhone to Wall Charger and Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart itself. Usually takes less than 15 seconds of holding both buttons.
If you decide your iPhone is not working properly, and you decide to Restore your iPhone Firmware then do this. Open iTunes on computer, then connect iPhone to computer, then hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the iPhone Firmware. -
IPhone volume not working and showing "Headphones"
When I try to change the volume on my iPhone it shows "Headphones" even if they're not plugged or connected via Bluetooth (I'm sure there's nothing connected) and behaves accordingly (e. g. playing audio only when there is a phone call). With headphones plugged in it works fine, playing normal audio on the headphones and phone call ringtone on the headphones and on the iPhone speaker.
I'm noticing this since I opened a game called "Dark Echo", that I've played only with headphones, without using headphones. The game says in the title screen "Headphones recommended". I don't know if this is the cause. I'm also pretty sure it isn't a hardware problem caused by dropping food or liquids on the headphone jack because the area around the jack is clean.
I tried restarting the phone, deleting the game, reinstalling the game, cleaning the jack gently with a microfiber cloth, plugging and unplugging headphones, blowing in the jack, playing media and changing the sounds and music settings.
My hypotheses are that it is an iOS 8.2 problem, a problem of the game or a hardware problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue and how can I resolve it?I resolved this issue by cleaning the jack with a microfiber cloth, blowing and plugging and unplughing headphones again.
