Nokia x2-02 auto time update prob?

I used Nokia n72 with grameen phone sim. N72 update automaticly date n time with gp service provider. But same sim card i used in x2-02 it wont update automaticaly. Please tel me how can i update automatic dat n tim......

You may have to set this in the new phone.. Go to Menu-->Settings-->Date & Time..and check whether there is option to enable 'Auto update of Time' ...

Alarm & Automatic time update problem ?

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing a similar problem - I've just discovered this and it's too late to call Club Nokia
I am on Orange in the UK, and we are currently in British Summer Time. I have set my alarm to go off at a particular time and afterwards the time seems to automatically revert back to GMT. Is this a known problem on the Nokia N70 ?
I have also tried deliberately changing the time on my phone to a couple of hours off, and then switching the automatic time updating system on, and it hasn't changed the time on the phone - this leads me to suspect that Orange doesn't implement this feature (as it doesn't implement the cell info display feature) but if so then this points to the alarm feature being a bug in Nokia's firmware ?
Anyone experienced this or has any enlightening information ?

Hmm - it does sound like a network type problem in that case although if so that means the cell where I live has never been configured correctly because I always get this problem - but only when setting the alarm (it never happened on the old Nokia 6230 I have). I reported it to Orange yesterday, and they quote a 24hour response time from their techie guys so I am hoping for some information back today.
Any ideas why it might be happening with an alarm clock ? When I deliberately misconfigured my phone's time and set auto time update on, it never corrected the time so why correct it when the clock goes off ?

Nokia 6300 time update

Hi I have this phone for work, but when I turn it off at 6.30 say and back on at 7.30 it will come back on showing the time you switched it off at - 6.30.......anyone any idea why and how to fix it????

Automatic time update is 2 minutes out?

Does anyone know how the automatic time update function works on the Nokia 701 and the like? Mine is enabled and seems to update when my phone connects to a data source (e.g. when retrieving email or when browsing websites) but the time retrieved seems to be about two minutes slow. Where does the phone get it's time signal from? Is this a network thing (i.e. it is Orange that is running slow) or does it obtain the time from a Nokia server?
Finally can I change the server it obtains the time from?

Firstly, it is not possible to change servers. As this feature does not require positioning info on the phone and does not require a data connection, I would suggest that it is a network thing. As you travel around the globe, your phone retrieves local time infor from the network you are roaming on. I've been leaving my phones on auto time for as long as I can remember and it used to work as well on my 8310, 6230 etc. with no data connection. I would contact Orange and ask they check their clock.

Auto Time Menu Option Vanished

Hi there,
I recently purchased a new Lumia, when I booted it up there was an Auto-Time (on/off) option in the date&time settings menu...but now it has disappeared.
I did a factory reset of my phone but the option still isn't there, any thoughts?

Can't find any way to remove the option on the 800,920 or 1020 suggest you visit the person who supplied the phone or go to a Nokia Care point as the option should be available , all my phones are on the latest available software versions and have choice to turn auto update time on or off.

you can check here ([1]) which release is available for your device. For the Lumia 630 in India that is the Cyan release.
[2] reads "For all other Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones, the update will start rolling out during Q4 2014, following partner testing and approvals", so I think
it is only a matter of time when the update is deployed to the Lumia 630 in India.

When is nokia map database will be updated?

some place in my country exist for a long time more then 5 years but yet in the nokia map doesnt seems to appear. fully blank at that part. i need go to there but there is no map for me. anyone know when nokia maps database will gonna update for malaysia?

Auto time stamp formula help

Does anyone know how to make the auto time stamp to nit update. I figured out how to make a cell show the time whenever another cell is filled in. But I would like it not to update. Currently the cell I have updates whenever I do anything and I was hoping for it not to.
Formula is
=if(A1<1,hour(now()),minute(now()),second(now()),0)

Little clunky, but one option: Select a cell. In menu, click on Insert, then Date & Time. In the cell, double-click the date that was inserted and in the box that shows, pick a format that has a time. The current time will get inserted into the cell.
Another slightly less cumbersome option is to format 2 cells with Pop-up menus, one Pop-up to choose hour, then other Pop-up to choose minute. For example, if cell B2 has hour Pop-up and C2 has minute Pop-up, then D2 can have =TIME(B2,C2) and that would display your time, which can get used in other formulas.

Real Time updates

We have recently purchased a version of Xcelsius Engage 2008 version 5.0.0.99 and have problems with real time updates when linking to an existing Excel sheet that has auto refresh queryu2019s the sheet is updating as expected but neither the preview nor exported flash files update. Is it possible to do the above with this version of Xcelsius?

Hi Joe,
It sounds like you have a connection tied to the Excel spreadsheet which updates your data. If this is true, then this will not update the SWF file produced by Xcelsius. When previewing or exporting the SWF file, it only translates the data/formulas used in Excel in actionscript to produce a self-contained SWF file. The connection between the SWF and the original Excel file is then severed.
The Xcelsius SWF files can only be updated in run-time via XML or web services.

New york times updates - safari extension - not refreshing

New York Times Updates Safari Extension seems to have stopped updating it's info. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, but it only added a couple of items from several days ago. Is this feed no longer viable? The version on the Safari extensions web site is 0.1, the same as always.

Try emptying the Safari cache more often.
You can do this from the Safari menu bar, click Safari / Empty Cache or Command + Option + E on your keyboard.
If emptying the cache didn't make a difference, go to the Safari menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari.
Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset.
Restart your computer.

ITunes not running after Safari and Quick Time update

HELP NEEDED!!After updating to the latest version of Safari and Quick Time, i got this error message the next time I started my computer:
"AppSyncNotifier.exe: The program can't start because CoreCoundation.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
I tried to open iTunes but I can't. I tried to uninstall so I can reinstall but it I got another error message that said I do not have the rights to uninstall, etc. I am the only user of this computer and I have admin rights. This PC used to run on vista but I recently upgraded to Windows 7(x64) and I encoutered the same problem - i could not uninstall/reinstall iTunes because "I do not have permission"
After upgrading to Windows 7 iTunes was running okay until the Safari and Quick Time update.
I need to sync my iPhone and iPod but without iTunes I can't!!!

I see the iTunes thing on my control panel-programs window, but it's no longer in the program (x86) folder on the c:/drive. iTunes on my computer is like gum stuck to my shoe. same goes for bonjour. Please be patient some more. Do you have any more suggestions?? I'm planning to get me an iPad but if I can't get iTunes to run properly on my computer I'm having second thoughts about it now.
