Nokia X2 - Incoming MMS is too small ( 2,8 kb ) !

i tried everything. New SIM card, i did update 2 times phone software. I did send from 3 different phones pictures and incoming to my phone is still the same. Size between 2 and 4 kb. Its so small that its even not possible to see whats on picture. My old phone was Nokia 6300 - there was no problems with reciving mms messages. They were allways same size as sent files. Its not possible to change settings in phone because theres no this type of setting in x2 that i can change mms size. Sorry about bad english

there should be a setting go to messaging then options then settings then multimedia ,give this a try
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • E55 Incoming MMS Images Too Small

I have a E55 bought as sim free but on O2 - a brilliant phone.  All my incoming MMS message images are very small thumbnail size, too small to be of use.  It's not a settings issue with the sender.  I have researched this problem all over the internet and it's not clear if it's a phone set up problem (I've checked out all settings which seem ok) or if O2 network cannot recognise the phone (they don't sell it) so send images small as their default.  I've had this problem previously on other sim free phones on O2.
Surely there must be a solution as it appears to be very common? O2 customer support cannot help, as you might expect.  Anyone any idea?
On a separate note, is there any good S60 software around to tweak the phone under the surface, like there is for windows mobile phones? Is it possible to edit system configuration files and, if so, how and where are they?
    Thanks

have you checked your mms settings and looked at image size
    go to menu/messages /options/settings/multimedia/image size

  • Nokia 7100 supernova inbuilt memory too small

is it possible to expand the memory of this device.?
Message Edited by steph35 on 28-Dec-2009 11:22 AM

It isn't possible to expand the phone memory but you can free up phone memory by deleting files, messages and uninstalling applications you don't really need.

  • Too small free ram on nokia e72

i got too small free ram on my nokia e72 (about 30 mb free ram), i can't make a full multy tasking on my e72 device,.. Anybody have same trouble..??? Let's nokia solving it in new firmware

    Hi agus_ependi,
Welcome to the Nokia discussion boards!
It may be so that you are running out of memory on the phone memory because you may have installed applications and saved media onto this drive. Try saving and installing these onto the mass memory or memory card because this will free up vital phone memory that your E72 needs.
Let us know how you get on.

  • Box too small to write in NOKIA 5300

    I have a Nokia 5300Xpress Music.
I periodically check my email, so using Tzones browser thinger, I go to AOL.com and get to my inbox. I read an email, and I try to reply. The page either comes up as "response unknown"..or the box to write in is WAYYY too small and I can't see anything I'm writing.
How can I fix this? Or is there any other way to get to my emails, be able to read them and reply, from my phone?
    Thanks!

It probably the browser which is having difficulty displaying the page.
Try installing this browser instead, it's more advanced than nokia's own.

  • How do I change the font on incoming email in Windows Live--it is too small in Firefox

I can change fonts in outgoing emails, and on website screens, but the incoming emails in Hotmail and Windows Live it is way too small to read. It is fine in Gmail. Can you tell me how to change this to a readable font. Using the Tools option does not work.

    See this:
    https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Page+Zoom

  • Mail Composed, and incoming messages displayed Font too small.

Most emails I receive and my outgoing composed messages use a font size around 12 point. People who receive my emails see a normal size, but while I am composing or reading incoming messages the font displayed is too small and difficult to read.
When I use other applications where I also use or view a 12 point font, and have the viewing magnification set to 100%, the displayed font is just fine. I think this is due to my screen resolution which is set to 1280x800 on my 13" MacBook.
When I change my screen resolution to 1024x768, the mail displayed 12 point font becomes readable, and in other applications the 12 point font at 100% magnification is the same as when I was using the 1280x800 screen resolution.
I have tried entering Command-Plus to magnify the displayed mail message, it actually increases the font size in the message rather than magnifying the message and keeping the font the same.
Is there another way I can magnify just the displayed message without magnifying the whole desktop/screen?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Jeff Cameron

Yes, setting the monitor to the default resolution, it does look fine. But for applications like Word, Pages, Preview and many other when you set the display zoom magnification to 100.00 regardless of the screen resolution the text seems normal, but in Mail, there is no screen zoom magnification, and so the higher the screen resolution, the smaller the text in composed and received messages is.

  • FONT OF INCOMING EMAIL TOO SMALL

WHEN I GET AN INCOMING EMAIL, THE MESSAGE IS ALMOST TOO SMALL TO READ. I'VE GONE TO VIEW-ZOOM-TEXT ONLY-ZOOM IN. I DO THIS A COUPLE TIMES AND I CAN READ IT, BUT, THE REST OF THE TEXT GETS TOO BIG. SO WHEN I'M DONE READING, I HAVE TO UNDO WHAT I DID.

THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH. FUNNY HOW JUST A LITTLE CLICK CAN MESS UP EVERYTHING. THEN YOU FORGET ALL THE THINGS YOU DID TO TRY AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM. I HAVE A TENDENCY TO TRY STUFF AND NOT REMEMBER ALL THE THINGS I CHANGED. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY WEB PAGE LOOKS LIKE A BUNCH OF BLUE LINES AND NO COLOR OR LINES OR BUTTONS WHERE THEY BELONG. NOW THAT IS SCARE Y. I DID MANAGE TO FIX THAT, AFTER ALMOST HAVING A HEART ATTACK, OR PANIC ATTACK. THANKS AGAIN

  • Better quality larger pictures on incoming MMS on ...

Does anyone know how to change the picture quality and size on incomming MMS messages on the N97 mini? I use to get great quality pictures on my N958GB but the ones on my N97 are horrible even when I fwd them to my email.
    Joel

So the update will fix the picture messages?  or are you talking about a firmware update?  I will call Nokia then and see if they will send the update thanks
    Edit:
I so thought you were talking about Nokia Nevermind I have called T-Mo and they do not have the ability to fix the problem for small MMS the configurator as far as I know only sends APNs and such not something that will setup the correct picture size and I spoke with tech they said it was something that would need to be fixed on T-Mobiles end.

  • Nokia 5800XM- Incoming Multimedia Messages-Receive...

    Im having trouble receiving MMS.
Message arrives as a thumbnail of approximately 3 or 6k in size.
There seems to be no settings which affect the size of incoming MMS.
    Sent MMS work fine.
    this is EXTREMELY inconvenient.
is anyone else having the same issue?
    How can this be fixed?
    -Thanks-

Sorry to hear that you are having the same problem too as it is very frustrating.
have you checked with your carrier about it?
T-mobile asked me to get in touch with Nokia support.
Nokia support says it is a common problem with the specific service provider and kindly asked me to get in touch with them again regarding the subject...
I hope they can fix it. Yet it seems that many other people have tried to do the same without success.
    Is your carrier T-mobile?

  • Error: Numeric underflow: double literal too small.

    Hi!
For some reason from the line...
    private static final double TIME_TO_PAINT_DIALOG = 0.050;
... I get error mentioned in the subject field. My Java version is: "Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1-b24)".
Could someone please tell me whats wrong!!??
    /jasurakka

    >
Im not quite sure what do you mean... On the line 75
    there is:
private static final double TIME_TO_PAINT_DIALOG =
    0.050;
And when I compile, I get the error:
    Error:
    Y:\nemu_em\src\com\nokia\em\applauncher\ThinClient\cli
    nt\login\Installer.java(75): Numeric underflow: double
    literal too small.
What else do you need...?It helps to know that it is a compile error.
Remove every other line in the class except for that one and compile it again.
Compile it using the command line tools and not as part of any other application (like an ide or as part of a web installer.)

  • To everyone who thinks the fonts are too small on ...

To everyone who thinks the fonts are too small on the N9 i suggest you contact Nokia about this issue. I know i am!

please see my post here: /t5/Maemo-and-MeeGo-Devices/N9-Font-too-small/m-p/1338481#M32968

  • N9 Font too small!!

I received my N9 three days ago and i am so disappointed at the font size. The fonts are way too small and totally unacceptable! I sold my Nokia 700 because the font on that device was so small i just couldn't use it and bought the N9. I figured the N9 with its 3.9" screen the font size would be comparable to the iPhone 4 but boy was i wrong. The fonts on the iPhone 4 are so much bigger! i purchased both the 700 and N9 online so i had no way of knowing the font would be so damn small.
Why are the fonts so small for SMS Messaging?
Why are they so small on the missed call/sms lock screen?
Why is the date on the lock screen so small?
The software guys at Nokia know how to fix this but they refuse. It's not that hard for them to do it. This font size shouldn't even be an issue if they took the time to properly develop the OS for it. I've even heard the Lumia 800 has small fonts.
I've been a loyal Nokia customer for years having owned a 6300 and C3-01 before because they build quality products except this font issue is driving me nuts! Am i supposed to sell my N9 and get an Iphone now?
NOKIA PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE ON YOUR NEXT UPDATE! MAKE THE FONTS BIGGER! ITS GOT A 3.9" SCREEN FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD!!

Please update to PR1.2 when available, it contains some changes to improve the readability of the UI texts.
the fonts in pr1.2 are smaller than pr1.1.
it is not so much that they are actually "smaller" as the css files in the device show them being the same, with exception to the lockscreens (those were made smaller), but the issue is more with the font style that they changed it to.
someone go and grab a wp7.5 device and then hold your nokia n9 on pr1.2 next to it.  the fonts are closer in likeness now unlike the pr1.1.
so the new fonts are a "thinner" look to them, making them seem smaller.  but they are more "crisp"
I changed my fonts to script, and even with the settings in pr1.2, they are the same as pr1.1, so it is the font, and not the "size"

  • C7 after belle update calendar fonts too small

After I updated to Belle I am experiencing some problems reading the calendar appointments. When expanding an appointment in calendar view to look at details font is very small. I think this is a persistent bug because neither in edit mode fonts get larger. Pls fix this. Best Pasha

    Hi Pasha_NC7,
It can either be that the update hasn't been installed properly, or that the font size that has come with Belle is too small for your liking. Try to reinstall Belle with Nokia Suite and see if this makes a difference. If it doesn't then you won't be able to change it to a bigger font, but it's worth a shot.
Let me know how you get on!

  • E50 Font size is too small

yesterday I bought a Nokia E50. this is really nice one.
I love it. but the problem is the font. Its too small. even some times I can't read it, if i am on move.
I think NOKIA should solve this problem. Because its a major problem.
Anyway, anybody know that how to change the font size?

You will need some 3rd party software to increase the font size. Try this:
