Nokia X6 Always show MTP Device when connect PC
Why my Nokia X6 always show Found New Hardware "MTP Device" when connect to PC Select USB mode: PC Suite?
My PC Windows XP SP3
Is there any way to solve this problem?

Same problem here. This is how you can make it go away.
Go to Control Panel > Taskbar & Start Menu.
Then on the Taskbar menu hit "Customize" That will show you the current items in your taskbar. You should have one that says "<no title>" - that is the MTP Device. Click on the "Hide when inactive" and change it to "Always hide".
Still, I don't think it addresses the issue directly so if anyone can tell us more about this problem it would be much appreciated.

i have an ipod nano 5th generation. the problem with it's that it doesn't show in itunes when connected to the laptop and it switches on on its own and songs start playing the battery gets consumed too fast after full charge. what is the actual problem?
What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

IOS (iPads) always show "in progress" when enrolling
Set up Server 3 on a Mac Mini. Profile Manager enrolls OSX (Macbook) with no problem. iOS (iPads), on the other hand, always show "in progress" when enrolling. Any suggestions on what could be causing this?
Same issue here, profile manager is working fine for iphone and macbook, but any tasks sent to the iPad Air just sit there "in progress" forever...
The enrolment is still "in progress" but the device appears in the list, doing an update info or trying to send settings to it (which is also triggered with the enrolment) also sits "in progress" and the settings never arrive.
It can't be a firewall issue, as the iphones are working just fine, in the same environment, i'm stuck... -

The most likely issue: Have you plugged your iPad into a USB port that is not directly part of your MacBook Pro? -
AppleTV 3 only showing Apple logo when connected to very new Panasonic plasma - worked Ok with older Panasonic (2007) - have reset AppleTV, tried 3 HDMI cables.
Tried again as you suggested - no luck. Ref sequence below
A. Pressed menu & down to reset Apple TV
B after reset & restart pressed menu & up buttons to change resolution. After pressing both buttons for 6 sec, LED starts flashing - released both buttons. TV screen blank. After 20 to 30 sec horizontal lines came on screen remained for 20 sec then screen again went blank. Waited for couple minutes. LED still flashing - pressed Menu button for 2/3 sec - flashing stopped & LED glows continuously. Screen blank
C. Reset the unit again by pressing menu & down. When it restarted - while LED was still flashing, got orange color screen with Apple logo in the middle. This screen remained till LED stopped flashing & then screen went blank -

I have just gotten my new ipad!!! I downloaded latest version of itunes but my ipad does not show in devices when I try to sync music. Any suggestions??
Does a little box come up seeing the iPad as a camera? That doesn't impact iTunes as much as it confirms that your computer sees the device. If your computer doesn't see it then iTunes doesn't know it's there.
If you're plugged into a hub or extender, try plugging it directly into the box or main part of your computer.
If you're using an extension, stop and just use the included sync cable.
Try using a different USB port.
After you installed iTunes, did you restart your computer?
Usually what's needed is the 'apple device driver' which installs automatically, you just need to sometimes trigger the install, using different ports helps with that.
If the simple trouble shooting doesn't help then you can search on the Apple Device Driver and there's more detailed trouble shooting on the site. -

I receive email from a yahoo account and a gmail account. thunderbird always shows a notice when yahoo mail arrives but never for gmail and the settings are the same help! TIA
well turn it off and see if that makes a change. After all IDLE is a server technology. If Google supports it and Yahoo does not then configuring Thunderbird the same means nothing. (I have no idea if Yahoo support it or not)

Why does itunes always show my iphone as connected when it is not
When I plug in one of our Apple devices to sync to our home computer, etc., iTunes shows the device I want to sync, but it also always shows my iphone as plugged in too. (At the top where it says Devices). Not a big deal, but is there a way to remove this instead of always hitting the eject button?
Do you have wifi sync enabled for those devices?
Select the device, click the Summary tab.
If it is enabled, there's no need to eject the device, even with the cable plugged in.
