Nokia X6 - Cannot send DTMF during a call

Hi all,
I just upgraded to an X6 and was wondering how to send a DTMF tone during a call (since there is no physical keypad).
Here is what I tried but to no avail :-
a) Dial number (O2 customer support : 202)
b) select Dialer and the keypad appears. Press "2" ... but nothing happens.
c) Close dialer. Press Options, select send DTMF, select Enter manually, select 2, select "tick", and still nothing.
d) select Dialer and the keypad appears. Press "2", press the "call symbol" on the keypad ... but nothing happens.
Anyone have any other ideas ?

i think this was a issue for the first call ,until you rejected send dtmf i remember when i made 1st call i had to do the same when i got this phone

Don't use ALL CAPS on post, online means you are SHOUTING and is very RUDE.
SMS is a carrier service, talk to your carrier.

Nokia N95 Cannot send messages

Hi I hope this is the right place to post this!
I can't seem to be able to send messages on my Nokia N95. I got it in the middle of December. Great phone and no problems whatsoever.
However the other night I was unable to send messages. They would immediately go straight to the outbox and sit there saying they would resend.
However it fixed itself randomly and began sending messages again. I did nothing. Kept the phone on changed no settings.
Today though it's gone again and this time i haven't been able to send any messages for the past 12 hours. I can make calls, receive calls and receive messages I just cannot send messages.
I've checked my message centre details. Everything is correct for my network 02.
I tried my sim card in my other phone and it sends messages fine.
You name it i've tried it...deleting message centres...adding new ones...it still just sends them straight to the outbox though!
Any ideas anyone? i've googled it and it appears quite a few other people are suffering from this.

On PC Suite I can only restore the entire backup. How do I restore only parts of the backup? I really only need to keep my contacts. Everything else like the maps I can download again if need be.

Sending data during the call with java enabled mobile devices

hi every one ,
this is the problem :
i have 2 mobile phone with java enabled os , i want to call (dial) from phone1 to phone2 with java code , (this will be done by platformRequest("tell:123456"))
AND then i want to for example press key '1' in phone1 during the call some program send this key to phone2 and in phone2 i want to switch this key and understand that was key '1' ...
how can i send this data for example a key pressed event to another phone with J2ME ???
i am developing it with netbeans Mobile Application by the way ...
could you please tell me your opinion and help me in this ,

Now I am not able to understand how to do the things you have mentioned in 3rd step in your reply.
What are all the things I have to do kindly tell , as I am very new to Idocs so don't have much knowledge.

IPhone 4 upgrade to iOS 7.1, cannot hear voice during phone call

I recently updated to 7.1 and suddenly I cannot hear voice during the phone call. I can still hear voice using earphone. Has anyone experiencing the same thing? Need help. Thanks.

I have the same problem with my iphone4 32g.
After my phone was updated to ios7, people cannot hear my voice in a telephone conversation (regardless of who makes the call); however, they can hear my voice perfectly in a facetime or skype session.
I managed to record my voice using the iphone so the problem may not have to do with the phone's hardware (mic or debris in the earphone jack). I highly suspect it is due to ios7, but I cannot rollback to ios6 to prove my hypothesis.
I have performed factory reset but the problem still persists. So now I have a an iphone that can't be used to make a phone call, and this is frustrating.
I used to have high regards for the apple brand. Not anymore.

You have to contact your mobile operator since they have the configuration data (which is operator specific).
Maybe if you let us know what your operator is (with the country) somebody might be able to help you.

Cannot send mail during roaming

Hi,
Just faced a problem with my Torch. When I traveled, I can got the new mails but cannot send mails. All the outgoing mails were pending during roaming and released when back to home town.
The Torch is configured with BES for corporate and personal email, both mail accounts faced same situation. Is it the carrier or the BES issue?
Please advice.

Excellent! A much simpler solution for you than it was for me. I was traveling internationally a lot last year and needed full BIS/BES roaming. As it turned out, it had to be properly configured before leaving my home network yet could only be tested after arriving in the new country. My carrier got it wrong -- twice...leaving me with no roaming service on two trips. After the second one, we escalated to an engineer at my carrier who was finally able to configure it correctly and I've had no roaming problems since (as long as I roam on a network with adequate services, of course).

TS2755 Cannot send messges or make calls anymore

Cannot send messges, keep getting 'message send failure. Also cannot make calls, however I can receive calls! Can also access the internet. Have restored my phone but this did not help.

When you are accesing the internet is it connected to a 'Wi-Fi' network? If so, it sounds like you may need to call your mobile phone carrier. As this is a restriction on calls and text that they have applied, not an error with your iPhone.

check your outgoing email setting on phone if access point, outgoing server, port etc.. are set properly.

As stated I live in italy, a year ago have purchased an iphone 3gs from vodafone company. I now have purchased an Iphone 4 and have moved that cip in the new phone.
In the old Iphone 3gs I have placed another cip from a different company here in Italy TIM and now cannot make calls nor send text messages since I get the following error message "error in pdp authentication". Can anyone help me in understanding what do I need to do??

Nokia Messaging - cannot send emails...

Hi,
I have recently got an E71 on the 3 network.
a week or so ago i installed nokia messaging (email.nokia.com) to use with my @ntlworld.com email address.
I believe i was receiving and sending messages ok at this point.
the other day i tried to send an email and almost immediately received a message to say it had failed to send
from : Mail Delivery Subsystem, subjectelivery Status Notification (Failure)
etc etc.
And I get this each time (and obviously the email doesn't send)
I have tried uninstalling from phone, deleting the email address from my account on email.nokia.com, then re-seting up agin, but still have the same problem.
Any ideas?
Is it a problem with my phone/the network/ntlworld/nokia messaging?

Hello I had the same problem a few months ago the way I solved this issue was.
1. Go to Http://email.nokia.com 2. login and click "edit setting" 3. next to the affected account(s) click "change server settings" 4. remove/delete the "outgoing email server" AND "outgoing server port"
5. click "Save" ( X ) out and try to send a email.
This should fix the problem it sure did for me

Cannot Send/Recieve SMS & Phone calls

Bought a Pay as You Go BB Curve 8520 from Orange, and i've set my data plan up, But i can't send texts or receive them, or receive and make phone calls.
After looking around, i've tried doing a hard reboot and that hasn't change anything.
PLEASE HELP!

I would suggest you get a SIM swap from Orange.
Or at least check with them that your account is provisioned correctly as voice calls and SMS are both controlled by the carrier.

Nokia 808 Belle FP2 crashes during video call

After upgrade my phone freezes when making /receiving video calls. Any fix for that or does nokia plan to address this soon???

Have you tried re-installing your current firmware via Nokia Suite? If this doesn't work, then you may need to perform a three finger hard reset, and failing that, take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for them to inspect: http://nokia.com/support
Remember to backup all personal data first onto memory card / PC / online storage.

Cannot send or receive phone calls since 8am this morning on my iPhone 5S

I've updated to the latest version for iPhone once I discovered it was not working. I managed to receive one callback from ATT and then nothing after. I am literally stranded with no way to talk to someone. Please help me!!

This is a user helping user forum. There is no one here that can help. You will need to visit an AT&T store if you can't call.
You can also private message with your account and contact information and someone will get in touch with you, but for speeds sake, you are better off going to a corporate store.
