Nokia X6-loudspeaker didn't work..
Hello, i just bought nokia X6 8GB...when i put headset, it become default for speaker.Since that, my phone just didn't work on loudspeaker..Music is played on very2 slow even i set higher volume..how can i fix it..
It just work fine if i put the headset..Only facing problem with loudspeaker..
is there a headset symbol on phone when this is happening

I have Nokia E6 and my bluetooth was not working fine so I reset the factory default settings and before that I took the back up, but once I restore all the settings everything was restored except msgs in which I made several folders. It say zero (0) msgs.
And I updated my phone also from Nokia updater still same problem....need an assistance from Nokia, plz help.

i have a problem with my nokia n8 i use the headset today for the first time then when i Separate headphones the loudspeaker doesn't work any more so i do restore and delete factory setting and the problem still exist ?? what i do ?
Just try reboot the phone first and see the result and let us know.

I've been using Nokia Maps 1.0 (including voice naviagtion) without any problems whatsoever for three weeks or so...since I got my new E65.
No I downloaded Maps 2.0 so as to be up-to-date....and now I can't make it work. I completed the installation and although it appears on my installed applications list it won't open and there is n Nokia Maps graphic, so something must be wrong.
Any ideas. I guess I'll go back to Maps 1.0 but I really wanted to give 2.0 a tryHi,
I can't exactly pinpoint what was that final "move" that worked.....but I'll tell you more or less all of which I did.
First of all I installed the Maps 2.0 file you're supposed to use when you have a previous version installed. So this didn't work. I tried deleting maps from the app.manager but just as it was about to complete the uninstall process it said there was an error.
Following a recommendation in Maps 2.0 FAQ's I erased the "cities" folder in my memory card. Afterwards I re-installed Maps 1.0. After doing this if I went into the app. manager Maps 2 would still show on the list, but it said "not installed"....even so I tried uninstalling and it worked. After this I then uninstalled the other Maps application that showed up on the list, presumably version 1.
After doing all of this I then tried going to maps.nokia.com to download the original version...I was unable to get the website working. I don't know if it was something do with my phone or not, so I re-installed Maps 1 using Nokia PC Suite and the downloaded Map Loader to get my maps again...remember to get the Map Loader from maps.nokia.com and not the one from the Beta Labs website.
This is more or less all of what I did yesterday night...let us know how you do and if you find a quicker way to get rid of Maps 2. -
Some of the songs I bought from iTunes will not sync to my iPhone. They show up on my phone, but the letters look faed and I can't play them. How do I fix this? I tried restoring my iPhone and it didn't work.
Sorry, I meant the letters look "faded" not faed.

Started a Itunes software update this morning which didn't work. Now Itunes will not open at all. I get the following message."The program can't state becasue MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer."
There are a couple of options that I know of to fix the issue.
One is listed in this thread - https://discussions.apple.com/message/24606478#24606478 - and involves uninstalling iTunes and related components and then re-installing iTunes. You will need to read the instructions in the thread to see the correct uninstall order.
Second option is use System Restore to set your system back to a date prior to the iTunes update. I did this before finding the thread mentioned above.
Not sure exactly what the problem is but I know, after a search, that MSVCR80.dll was indeed already installed on my computer.

Hi, so I pushed autofill because I thought that it would put music on my phone from a different iTunes library but it didn't work, and now the songs show up grey in my music on my phone and they won't play, but they are still there. What can I do to fix this and get rid of the grey songs?
Go back to iTunes, select the Music tab, uncheck the 'sync music; button, then hit apply.

Same here, 4s working perfectly, downloaded update 8.0.1 Now no wifi or bluetooth or hotspot. Control on/off icons are muted in colour and don't respond. Tried resetting network connections then total restore, didn't work so still have the same problems as before.

I would try another restore of the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media. Maybe something went wrong in the process. Make sure everything works before applying any updates and adding any hardware or software.
Then add things carefully, rebooting Windows and testing the USB and audio at each step.
Please note this.
The only info windows gives me for the sound card is that it from Microsoft... with a driver version of 6.1.7601.17514....which naturally doesn't really help me since I have no idea what card or mobo I have . Is there any way for me to find out what I need other than opening up my laptop?
Every one of them lists my mobo simply as a Toshiba motherboard, with no audio card information. Which I'm assuming that is because it has an internal sound processor. My problem is that none of the properties, or ANYTHING I try, will give me information on what I need to fix this...

How can I access my apps? They are all greyed out in itunes. I have tried restoring my iphone to factory settings but that didn't work. I have a feeling it may have something to with the restrictions settings on my phone restrictions are on) but it won't allow me to change the restrictions without putting in a passcode. I don't remember ever having a passcode and after several attempts have not been able to get the right code.
Also. on my phone, in settings, personal hotspot, iCloud and Twitter are greyed out. And, the App Store icon is missing from my screen as well.
Can anybody help me with this?

With regards to doing a restore, do you mean:
open itunes on my computer
click on my device on the left
go to the device summary
click restore
it then asks if i want to back up before i restore (to which i say no)
then it asks me if i'm sure I want to restore to factory settings and that all of me media and data will be erased and replaced with the newest version ( to which I say yes)
then it takes about 90 mins to do this but when I look at my phone, everything is exactly the same.
Am I missing something? Obviously I'm technologically challenged, but I HAVE to get to the bottom of this! -
Mavric doesn't support my 5 years old Big Screen Display, OR? Tried to connect my Mac Book Pro after installing Mavric, The Screen didn't work as before. I could only see the Desktop but not the movies for example.
<E-mail Edited by Host>It appears what happened is the installer though it was looking at a empty drive and just went ahead and installed.
I of course am assuming here you didn't use Disk Utility to format the drive first before installing, that would wipe out your files and programs for sure.
So what to do, what to do.
Well there is hope for you as long as the drive wasn't Filevaulted.
I'll explain. When a hard drive writes data for the first time to a drive, it starts at the very top and works it's way down.
When OS X was installed the first time, it was at the top of the drive, unless you upgraded then the upgraded OS X could have been written elsewhere.
Now when you just reinstalled OS X, the new OS went on the top of the drive, overwriting any data that was there previously, so what was there you have lost forever which is about 8GB or so. If it was the previous OS there, then your more in luck because only the old OS X was overwritten.
The remaining space on the drive still can have a copy of your files, provided it's not overwritten yet.
It's because when a hard drive deletes data or reformats, it doesn't remove the data off the drive or overwrites it immediately, it's just made so it's SPACE is available for new files to be written there.
So technically one can recover the deleted data off a non-encrypted/scrubbed hard drive with special software.
The way it does this is it reads the 1's and 0's of the files themselves, and through a lot of figuring out, can tell what that file is and what it belongs too.
So what you will have to do is this:
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
or if you don't have the skills, then take it to a local PC/Mac tech and they can do a direct image of the drive and then you can run Data Rescue on it to rebuild your files. -
My iPod 5th gen touch went through the washing machine. It still works but it has water in the screen and I can't get it out. I put it in uncooked rice for a day but it didn't work. And suggestions??
Leave it in the rice for at least a day and change the rice every other day or so. The rice and iPod should be in a sealed container.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $149. They do not fix yours.

When i try to purchase or update it says "Your Apple ID has been disabled." I have contacted Apple 3 times and they told me to change my password each time and i told them i tried that, but it didn't work.They said they would try to fix it and they never contacted me after that. When I open it, Firefox freezes after less than a minute of use. After waiting a few minutes, it unfreezes but then freezes again a few seconds later. This happens regardless of the website I'm on. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and the problem didn't go away. I've even tried a clean reinstallation but it didn't work. This only happens on Firefox. IE and Safari work fine.

My MacBook Pro won't connect to the Internet via wifi but it worked fine on ethernet cord...I tried running diagnostic but it didn't work:(((( it happen every time if I restart the modem and/or router.. Any idea how to fix this?
