Nokia x6 touch screen

Yesterday I was to a party. I danced, in this time my phone was in my pocket and..there aren't any risk to damage my phone, but..when I got home, i have seen that my touch screen is broken and doesn't work. I want to know if touch screen doesn't work because of that, and if I must to change it. I'll put a picture and I hope you'll help me. Thanks

since the touch panel is broken and you can't operate the device, a visit to a Nokia Care point will help you.
please remember that since you broke it, the warranty will not cover the repair.

also before i post this problem i read lots of problems same as my phone problem.
main is Touch Screen wont work.

8secs depressed the power botton. failed.

im not from EU sir.
im from philippines i bought this cellphone when i was in saudi arabia.
so that means warranty is not applicable to my location right now.
pressing power button 8secs and menu volume camera power it does reboot.
but after that still touch screen wont work.
is my phone broken?
by that application LIE DETECTOR?
that means i cant trust nokia applications at all.
i dont know what to do.

Nokia C6- Touch Screen is not responding

I have bought a nokia c6-00 few month back.. from last two-three day, the touch screen of this cell is not working properlly..Even i have restarred mobile many time..some time is working..but within the second again faceing the same problem...
Is any one faceed this type of problem. is this a software or hardware proble..
it is very disappointng me..

Hi Shtru,
I will suggest you try and calibrate the device first by using the keypad, the steps to do this are as follows:
Menu > Settings > Phone > Touch input > Touch screen calibration. Follow the instructions on the screen.
This should address your issue.

Nokia E6 touch screen problem

My E6 00 comes with symbian belle i bought it last month a week leter the touch screen stop functioning proper, i need to lock it and reopen it every minute for me to use the touch screen and even then its not all the part of the screen that is working like the option key, OK or cancel key, the drop down menu at the top of the screen which can be used to on/off the network connection. I've used *#7370# to format it twice but the problem still remain i regret buying the phone. please ! someone should help me on what to do i'm confuse

Have you checked that you have the latest firmware onn your device via the device itself or Nokia Suite? If there is an update offered, please update. If that doesn't work, try re-installing your current firmware through Nokia Suite. Failing that, perform a three finger hard reset, and if that doesn't work, then you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for them to inspect.

Nokia 300 touch screen problems

hi , i have bought this nokia 300 recently and after just three months its touch screen is malfunctioning, the proble is that if u touch the left side if the screen the effect is visiblle on a little right side, not that exact point which i want to click. e.g if i touch alarm , it open calender, need help

Welcome to the forum.
Have you done calibrating the touchscreens of the two devices? Also, check if soft reset will fix your problem. You can do a soft reset by dialing *#7780#. After that you'll be asked to enter a lock code. Just enter 12345 if have not changed it. You can also do the steps advised by @ng85 (message no. 4) above.

Nokia 5233 touch screen problems

Sometimes when someone calls me and I try to receive the call by pressing the touch screen button on my 5233, the button does not respond and I have to pick up the call by pressing the green button. Other times it works fine.
Since the problem is not regular when I visited the nokia service center they could not provide any solution.
Would you please suggest something.

I have the same problem with 5230...unlocking to attend the call by sliding does not work.

Nokia 5800 Touch Screen unique problem

My 5800 is showing some unique problems these days.
If i click the telephone key on the touch panel the contact keys gets pressed.
And this happens acroos all applications.Tried reset, hard, soft everything but not got the solution.
If anyone has please do share as this is taking on my nerve.

It's not unique because other people have had the same issue.
It happened on my device when I took it apart and put back together and tightened the screws too much. It has something to do with the connector connecting the display's touch sensor to the phone electronics.
Loosening the screws helped.
(I took it apart to install some non-Nokia covers on it which might not have the exactly same dimensions as the original ones. By the way some non-Nokia covers have a ridiculous design flaw which reflects the light from the LED flash right into the camera module and ruins all photos taken with a flash!)

Nokia n8 touch screen not working

i bought my n8 one month before, and i download many software and suddenly the touchscreen stopped working. I dont have any idea what the problem is and what should i do now? I dont know what to do.. I have not dropped my cell phone on any hard surface but still such problem arised.. Please suggest some solutions for this.
is it related to hardware or maybe software problem. and nokia dealer till me that this kind of problem not covered under my n8 warranty and it may cost 100 $.

If your touchscreen has stopped working you may have to consider as a last resort "hard reset" by three keys depressed power on which will have consequences as all data would be erased from both phone memory and mass memory; also if running firmware earlier than PR1.2 you might have had issues restoring OVI Store to functionality.
I have deliberately not posted instructions here although in many places upon forum, so you consider possible ramifications before deciding whether to try this procedure.

Nokia X6 Touch screen and Proximity Sensor

Hello!I have a problem.
When talking on the screen are activated any keys - the media, the button to turn off the microphone. Sometimes when you dial and put the phone to the ear he cut off talks. Proximity sensor works and the screen fades to where my ear. I do not know how to obtain it but it is very nasty. Version of software after the update is 30.0.003 but the problem remained. Please help!

Sometimes Nokia 5800 touch screen does not work when I get an incoming call and press the accept button.

Sometimes I need to touch it more than once, but it usually works. This happens less often since updating to V31.

Nokia C3-01 get hanged with Touch screen lock

I have been using Nokia c3-01 for the past few months and the firmware is uptodate.(V 7.51) Some time after a call has been disconnected the touchscreen lock will be activated and it will not get unlocked.(The Touch Screen will not respond). The phone has to be restarted by removing and reinserting the battery. Hope this complaint would be solved in the next software update.

Welcome to Nokia discussions board!
We are sorry for the inconvenience. I advise yout to try and back up your data with Nokia Suite. If you do not have it installed on your PC yet, you may do so with this link.
Then connect your device to it and go to Tools > Back up. Also go to Synchronise > Synchronise now > All. Once the sync is completed, check the different tabs to see if the data has been correctly synced. If this is successful, your data will now be safe (please use your own judgement).
You may update your device from the updates tab to see if that fixes the screen issue.
Alternatively, please take your device to your nearest Nokia Care Point or call your Local Careline, please find the details via this link.

Nokia Lumia 520 - Screen Cracked, Touch Screen not...

The other day I accidentaly dropped my 520 in the street. The screen has a large thin crack from the top left corner to about the middle right of the screen. I can live with the crack, it's barely noticable, as it looks like a hair on the screen. However, the touch screen doesn't work either, which is quite a problem.
I've looked online and I have seen Screen Digitizers, which I believe are the glass screens which contain the touch technology. However, will I need to order anything else?

i have had my nokia lumia for 6 months and the screen cracked randomly in my coat pocket the other day,
as its touch screen i cannot use it at all.
I went back to carphone warehouse and they said i should contact nokia for help.
He also said the phone isnt a high end phone and doesnt have gorilla glass like the iphones.
I was a bit annoyed to hear that as i had assumed all phones had toughed glass and they recommened I just buy a new phone.

NOKIA Lumia 710: Touch screen focus no longer work...

Hello.
I've only had my Lumia 710 for two weeks. Up until 4 days ago, the touch screen focus attribute was working perfectly. I was taking pictures and it simply stopped working.
I've since tried resetting the camera options back to defaults with no luck. I recently updated the phones software pn 10.18.2012 with no change either. I also took out the battery and sim card out of frustration and obviously had no luck.
Aside from having to do a hard reset, does anyone have any suggestions regarding how to possibly fix this?
Maybe I'm missing an obvious and simple setting? Maybe not. Lol

Welcome to Nokia Support Discussions!
Normally Nokia Lumia 710 should focus on the part you tap with your finger (and show a reticle while doing so) and snap a picture. There is no setting to switch this off, so it should be working by default. We would advise you to reset your phone at Settings > About > Reset your phone. Just remember to backup your media files before doing so, because it will wipe your phone clean. If the issue persists, visit your local Nokia Care point and let them have a look.

hey man no need to go to any nokia care....its just you are not able to work up the code...
try this solution first :
hope you would have got a usb mouse at your place....use the usb on the go to connect a mouse and use it to enter the code ...voila and you are done...you can also use it to soft reset your phone in case the touch screen doesnot work...
