  • My C3 model does not support internet as per MTN

    Dear sir
I bought my new Nokia C3-00 yesterday, and i brought my phone in sudan, here in this country i am using MTN network(mobile operator), i asked to MTN to send the GPRS settings, then MTN customer care said my Nokia C3 does not support internet,
can somebody tell me, is my mobile is faulty or internet on C3 work only in india?

So how do i actually config the airport so it runs on my operating system?
Once you configure the older AirPort using the Mac running Leopard it will operate fine on your network.
The rub is that the Mavericks Mac cannot be used to configure or make any changes to the older AirPort once you have it set up. So, if the Express needs more help later, you will need to borrow the Leopard Mac later to fix things up again.
That Express that you have is at least 8 years old....probably older.....and most of these devices go for about 5-6 years, so you are way ahead of the game.  A new Express, when you are ready, will work fine with Mavericks.

Run MDP to HDMI for picture. Use a cable like this to run sound from your audio out on your Mac to your TV's audio in.  That's about all  you can do.

  • Hi. I know that Apple do not support Adobe Flash but is there anything else I could use. Thanks

    Hi
I know that Apple do not support Adobe Flash but is there anything else I could use to view more? Thanks

There is not going to be an ideal solution. Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, and Puffin work on some sites (but judging by their reviews not all). Also a number of websites (especially news sites) have their own apps in the app store which might let you get some of the content that you want.

Have you tried resetting your phone and/or your iPad? Hold down the Home and power keys until the silver apple appears. Might help. Can't hurt.

  • Firefox 4 does not support AVG Safesearch but IE9 does!!! Why?

I decided to install Firefox 4 but it does not support AVG safe search or it's very useful link scanner, so for safer browsing I have reverted back to version 3.6.16.
However Internet explorer 9 from MS supports AVG! I accept that AVG ought to release a new version, but why can Microsoft continue support in their completely re-vamped browser and Mozilla cannot, since all my other add-ons were still compatible?
    For reference I am running on Win7 home premium Sp1 64bit, AMD Phenom IIX4 N930 CPU @2.0Ghz , 4GB DDR3 Ram and an ATi HD5470 512MB Graphics Card.
In conclusion, it would be fantastic to see Mozilla tweak the settings (if possible) to allow AVG safe search to work with Firefox 4, Until then I will go on using 3.6 and IE9 from Microsoft.

Close Firefox 4. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG10\Firefox and open install.rdf in Notepad. Change 3.6.* to 4.0.* exit and save. Done.

Is there any way around this??
Yes. You just need to install an *iSync Plugin* for your phone to add iSync support for it.
Google for "nokia 6500s isync plugin" and take your pick from a variety of options.

  • Media format is not supported on OS7, but OS6 is working

Why is this URL Media on OS6 Browser well working and on the new OS7 I'm getting an error? Ideas?! http://bit.ly/tp671l
    Or: tvthek.orf.at/l
Very long buffering (about 2min) and seems to not swith into WAP mode for streaming.... After that: error: not supportet media?!
But on the OS6 browser it works all fine......
    Any ideas?
    Thanks, kind regards

    Frank:
I was chacking the result with the Apple DVD Player and get the error report "Media Type is not supported" (Translated from german).
Did you get that message from DVD Player?
After burning the Folder with Toast the DVD is running correctly on the Mac, but not on my stand-alone players.
In Toast check you selected Data disc > DVD-ROM (UDF) and drop the VIDEO_TS folder inside. It's a good advice to create an empty AUDIO_TS folder because some players could look for it.
For me is safer creating an .img file from DVDSP and drop it into Copy tab in Toast. In that way you have not to remember what files to selct and the image has the complete right format to comply DVD standards.
What media are you using: +R -R +RW -RW ? Some players have problems running the RW media.
The same problem I have with my old VIDEO_TS Folders I created months ago and worked very well.
If you had those VIDEO_TS folder archived and tried now to burn with bad results, that's nothing related with DVDSP !

You should not be paying for firefox, delete whatever the file is and run malware checks on your computer.
Obtain a proper version of firefox from say getfirefox.com for free and install that.

  • The platform does not support this application, but does under other account

Okay the MSI Gaming App works just fine under my own account on my PC on which I am the administrator. So it isn't a driver related issue.
Last week I created a second account for my son as he also like to play some games but I dont want him messing up my account.
I wanted to start the MSI Gaming App on his account as my son was going to play a more graphic demanding game but the MSI Gaming App is only giving me the warning: the platform does not support this application.
I checked the Security and Permissions for Authentication they all set like they should which works fine for other software and applications.
Even when I try to run the app as administrator it keeps coming back with this warning.
Anyone got clue why? Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious but till now I still didn't get the MSI Gaming App to run like it should. Some help please.

    1. What's your App version?
    2. What's the mobo/vga/specs of your son's pc?
First of all thanks for the replies and future replies.
    1.
    Version 1.0.0.18
    2.
My sons has his own profile/account on my pc so the hardware config and installed drivers are exact the same. And on my profile the App is working fine. So it has nothing to do with mobo/drivers/vga/specs. I already had installed the App before I created his own profile. As administrator I added all the needed permissions to the MSIGamingApp Properties Security Tab. Like I did with all other software he is running on his profile and which are working just fine. For example Teamspeak, Mumble, Several games, MSOffice and so on. I even set the Permissions to Full Control like on my Administrator profile. At the Permission Entry for MSIGamingApp I let the permissions be inherited from the parent object my administrator profile.
If I would re-install and if during the installation windows would ask for whom the software should be accessible. I only would let Windows do exact the same as I did as administrator in the App Properties Security Tab. That the nice thing about being an admin. Create profile, set permissions and let users on your pc or network access software and applications already installed on the network. So that is why I find it weird this doesnt work.
Also running the MSIGamingApp as Administrator on his profile gives the exact same warning.
I do know how to add permissions to the security tab have been doing that several years for some job I had once.
I could use Afterburner maybe but I don't trust him yet with making changes in Afterburner.
The MSIGamingApp gives just enough controls OC-Gaming-Silent mode.
And in case of trying a re-install of the App anyone got an url for a new version?
Might have found it but it isn't on any MSI webpage.
I did found something on Guru3D but I'm not aloud to post external links.
Did found a url linking to a Torrent side but my Bullguard AV blocked this site instantly.
So a clean url would be nice so to say.
So weird I cant find this software on http://nl.msi.com/search/MSIGamingApp/product/1 or any other MSI site

  • SHA256 certificate with Signature Algorithm as RSASSA-PSS not supported in FireFox but it is the only option available

I have just built a new PKI infrastructure for issuing SHA2 certificates. When I duplicate a template and set it up to use KSP instead of CSP to enable SHA2 signing, the only provider I have available is the Microsoft Software Key Storage Provider which
translates into RSASSA-PSS. I am also allowing the Private Key to be exported due to the fact that the cert and Key need to be placed on multiple servers such as in a cluster.
I am finding that FireFox does not support certificates which use RSASSA-PSS and have tracked it to a few Bugzilla reports. IE and Chrome appear to not have any problem with this.
I want to change the provider to something that FireFox supports while still being able to issue SHA2 certs. I am finding that if I unmark the "Allow Key to be Exported" on the template when I build the it, other options for providers appear.
I need to be able to support the big 3 browsers: IE, Firefox, and Chrome while still allowing the key to be exported. I used AlternateSignatureAlgorithms=1 for the capolicy.inf file on both the offline root and Intermediate CA's. I read a post somewhere
that changing the Root to AlternateSignatureAlgorithms=0 and renewing the Intermediate CA certificate could solve the problem but I do not understand how I can obtain a HSA2 certificate for the Intermediate if that is not enabled.
I could use some assistance with this if someone knows how to make this work. Many thanks.
    Brian B.

    Brian,
There is no correlation at all between the
AlternateSignatureAlgorithms=1  or 0 line and the use of SHA256. In my book, it is recommended when you get into the weirder combinations (Elliptical curve versions, etc.)
If you do as you plan (using AlternateSignatureAlgorithms=0),
then the CA certificates will show Sha256RSA as the signature algorithm, and be universally accepted.
    As you stated...
    1) Change the capolicy.inf on the root CA and renew the root CA certificate.
    2) Change the CAPolicy.inf on the issuing CA and renew the issuing CA certificate
Now start issuing the KSP certificates, they will be usable on Firefox

  • Nokia 6165i not supported by iSync

I'm disappointed that my new Nokia 6165i is not supported by iSync (according to both the Apple and Nokia websites). Is anyone aware of any third-party software that will allow me to sync my Address Book with this phone? How can I lobby Apple to include this phone among the supported devices in the next version of iSync?

Did you check for iSync compatibility before choosing to purchase this phone? Could've saved yourself the disappointment...
PhoneDirector may work with your phone according to the footnote on the bottom of this page:
    http://www.macmedia.sk/pd.htm
...although thats a general phone management application, it won't enable iSync support.
