NokiaPCSuite not connect 6230i via bluetooth while...
my nokia 62301i is getting connected from my PC via bluetooth and other devices but PC Suite is unable to find Nokia 6230i to connect via bluetooth!
Must be a PC Suit Failure!

I'm trying to use PC suite (downloaded from nokia site as the proper one for 6230i rel 7) connecting 6230i via bluetooth. Pc and phone are "associated" but when i launch the PC suite I get an error message: "It is not possible to recognize the phone".
I read a lot of post but nobody seems to have solved the issue!
From Bluetooth application I can read files on pc ... so che bluetooth connection seems to work properly; it appears as a PC suite bug .. really boring!
Nokia team can help us ?

I am desperately looking for a bluetooth headphone that would be compatible to my Macbook air and Ipad mini both. I am more of looking for a headphone that does not need a transmitter device to be connected to the source (in this case Macbook Air and Ipad Mini) and headphone acting as a receiver, rather need a headphone that would be connected directly via bluetooth to the source, it would be great if multiple apple devices be connected simultaneously. Hey sorry for the late reply, I was busy to figure out alternatives as harman kardon was a difficult affair to find and acquire, but the good news is I managed to get hold of alternative.
Sony I assume recently launched a Bluetooth headphone DR-BTN200 which is compatible to my MacBook Air , iPad mini and android phone galaxy s2 with ease, the sound quality is pretty good as compared to other brands of Bluetooth headphones I checked compatible or incompatible to apple devices alike, this is definitely what I was looking for, costed me 7990 INR, this is highly recommended for ppl who are confused, I carried my devices to the store and checked before I bought a pair and pretty much happy,
The best part of this is its battery backup, I have used this hours for 3-5 days but this has not drain even then, but I do keep this charging once in 2-3 days just to keep this ready otherwise it does not even ask for it neither the quality of sound drops after 2-3 days of use.
This is over the ear headphone which is very soft but it's get sweaty around the ear I guess that's bound to happen.

I have a MBP retina and I am having problem when my bluetooth and wifi are both active. My wifi is totally unusable when I am connected to via bluetooth speaker.
Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information. Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection. Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect. -
Hi guys, I downloaded this new iOS7.1 but it always fails to install. It says I am not connected to the Internet while I have all the network and second excuse it gives is that the software update is currently unavailable. Please help.

Hook your phone up to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do your update from there. This is a robust iOS release, and doing it OTA is not always successful. I tried on my iPhone a couple of times, and it aborted the update twice. Did it via the Mac, and it was fine.
It takes a bit of time, so hook it up, make sure it is updating your phone, and then find something else to do for a couple of hours.

C6-00 Internet connectivity problem via bluetooth
I just bought the Nokia C6-00 two month ago and now have problem to connect my laptop to the internet via bluetooth with Nokia C6. The OVI PC suite works fine as i can syncro contact,notes and etc via bluetooth except internet. The internet config setting in ovi suite follows as the service provider configuration. Before my laptop can connect to the internet successfully but now i can't connect with the internet setting before. Please help me to solve this problem.
on my computer if there is no internet i know that the LAN card is toast
is there any chance the problem to be hardware not software or settings? -

If you are the only user on your computer you probably don't have multiple user accounts set up and can disregard that. If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar. Now see if your iPad appears under Devices on the left side when you connect it. If it does, click on the name of your iPad on the left side and your iTunes sync settings options will appear in folders with tabbed headings to the right.
If it doesn't appear on the left side, follow the troubleshooting steps shown in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538. -

I can not receive files via bluetooth from other external devices nokia, samsung and other than apple. I can send files to them but not receive. What is the problem?
I sucessfully transfered files from my Nexus4 to MBP via Bluetooth
1. Go to system preference and select Sharing.
2. Check the Bluetooth sharing.
3. Specify directory to which you want to recieve files from Blue tooth device.
4. Turn Blue tooth off and make it on.
Your MBP is now ready to recieve files from Andoriod phone. -

on two occasions, when trying to start an application, i received a warning saying i need a java runtime (?) but that i was not connected to the internet while in fact I was. I controlled this by selecting the system network preference which confirmed my internetconnection was working properly?

patrickBecause the machine is not able to resolve the name of the server where it needs to get the Java runtime from. Seem to be a lot of wonky DNS out there.
Temporarily switch your DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4, open a terminal, and type 'java -version', to get it to install the runtime.
Then put your DNS back the way it was. -
Can't connect to 6230i via bluetooth dongle

I'm using vista home premium, 32 bit and have installed BlueSoleil bluetooth software version 1.6.1.4 with dongle and have PC Suite version 6.
On the bluetooth software I can see that it recognises the phone and in paired devices on the phone I can see the PC but it does not give me the option to connect.
When I try to connect via PC suite I get the message "There is no available connection type and therefore the connection to the phone cannot be established. The wizard will exit."
I'm not really up to date with this stuff so is there anything I should try to get this to work? Any suggestions?
ThanksYes - it's version 6.84. When I tried to connect PC suite I got the message "Cannot use the connection type. Check that all the needed hardware, software and drivers are available" It's strange because the bluetooth software can see the phone and I can push a business card from the PC to the phone and I can send a picture via bluetooth from the phone and the computer received it.
Not sure what to try...Seems like PC suite has a lot of issues from looking at this website.... -
Apple Maps does not give directions via Bluetooth
I have a iPhone 5 with IOS7.0.4 installed. Apple maps will not give me voice directions via Bluetooth in my car. I have tried to do this in several cars but it doesn't work. Google Maps attaches itself to To Bluetooth and gives voice directions over the cars speaker system every time.
Is there a setting I am missing?I have just returned from a trip across Italy in a brand new Suzuki hire car. It had a bluetooth audio system and after some fiddling I got the setup working really well.
Pairing was not easy (the car came with no manual). After much trial and error I got my iPhone 4S (OS 7.1.2) paired (You get the car's audio device into 'pairing mode' at the same time looking at your iPhone's 'Settings Bluetooth window for a new device to appear. You then enter the passcode given by the car into the phone. You can check that its paired: A message should come up on the car, the iphone says connected against the new device. And starting a track playing in 'music' it should then be played over the speakers - if not there is a menu on the phone which enables you to select the car's device.
If your Apple Maps directions are working fine on the phone's internal speaker (enter start & destination, press Route, then Start), then they should now work over the car's audio system. Furthermore;
- Each time a direction is given the music track gets muted
- Likewise phone calls should also mute out the music (not sure about the directions tho - didn't get any calls in Italy!)
- On this car, the music started playing automatically thereafter from my phone every time I got into the car! I thought this initially extremely cool, because on my car back home (a Parrot kit) it takes a while to get it going.
A couple of 'glitches' which someone on here may know the answer to!
- Whilst you can select options for the volume of the directions : Loud / medium/ low, changing the volume of the music also softened the directions. I was in the car with four others and getting everything 'right' proved a bit of a challenge
- When returning to Naples we got given a wrong address which sent us to the wrong place (with a flight to catch after) putting everyone into a panic:- 'Switch the bloody music off!" I was told! . I tried to but found this hard to achieve without also killing the directions (which we were relying on).
Note that we only had one phone paired! Each setup varies with regards multiple phones and how to switch between them. This is a headache in our family, as we have 5 iPhones and everyone drives. Multiple phones are often not handled well. -
Connecting keyboard via bluetooth to Panasonic Viera or Apple TV
My apple keyboard is discoverable when viewing settings on my apple PC however when I try to connect by keyboard via Bluetooth to my Panasonice Viera TV or Apple TV under settings>bluetooth, the keyboard name never appears and the bluetooth search mode keeps searching not recognizing the keyboard. Solution or steps to resolve issue known? Please help
