If you can't get into the Rescue Mode then the player is faulty. You'll need to contact Creative Support to get it repaired, but it will be expensi've I think relati've to the worth of the player (assuming you're not under warranty).

  • My new mac won't start up. I uploaded my backup now it just keeps restarting over and over

u just bought a 2013 refurbished Mac Pro retina display. It asked me to connect my backup and install. After 45 min it restarted and came up error. Now it keeps restarting and a bunch of tiny writing appears in the top left then it restarts again and repeats.

The warranty entitles you to complimentary phone support for the first 90 days of ownership.
If you bought the product in the U.S. directly from Apple (not from a reseller), you have 14 days from the date of delivery in which to exchange or return it for a refund. In other countries, the return policy may be different. If you bought from a reseller, its return policy applies.

  • Computer just keeps restarting

I did a software update and restarted my computer at the end, as instructed.
I get the Apple screen, then the loading bar, then the computer restarts itself.
It will keep restarting itself in the same way until the cows come home.
I tried letting it sit and cool down for a while and starting it again later.
    Nothing. Same thing.
    Any thoughts???

Well I tried resetting the PRAM and PMU (though having never done either, I'm not sure if it actually worked) I couldn't even start into Safe Mode as my machine would restart shortly after the gray screen with the Apple logo came up. I have yet to try restoring from a Time Machine backup.
I'll try your suggestion of pulling the battery and and pressing the power button a few times. And then leave my machine sitting for awhile. I'm assuming I should do all of this without the power adapter plugged in as well.
I'll also try putting my original RAM in the laptop as well, possibly the current RAM somehow went bad.
If none of this works, I'll be going by the nearest Apple Store (which is across the state) in less than month or so and have someone at the Genius Bar look at it.
As a side note, my optical drive failed awhile back but that shouldn't keep the machine from being able to boot into the OS should it?

  • TS1702 How do you get the press your luck app to download, it just keeps restarting the download over and over after it is almost done?

Just when it gets about finished downloadIng, the app restarts the download, and this process keeps going and going. I did everything that apple suggested, but nothing works. I haven't heard back from Ludia, the company I purchased this $4.99 app from. Any advice would be helpful at this point. Please help me.

After activating your iPad, go to the App Store and search for your free apps:
    1. Pages
    2. Numbers
    3. Keynote
    4. iPhoto
    5. iMovie
    6. GarageBand
If apps are still showing the price: sign out>reboot>and sign in again

  • HT201210 I did the update on my phone and now it just keeps restarting itself over and over again. It will come up with the black screen and apple sign and shut off and bring that up again. What do I do?

First I did the update under general like I do every couple months. My phone came up with a screen, at the end of the update, that had a picture of the itunes icon and a picture of the iphone cord like I was supposed to connect to itunes. I did and itunes said that my phone needed to be "restored" to be reusable again, and the only option it gave me was to click the restore button. So I did and it went through a 30 minute restore session. Now my phone just shows the black screen with the apple icon and restarts over and over again. Clicking the buttons does nothing. It has been doing this for hours now. What do I do?

The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes.

Did you try a disk cleanup from rescue mode?

No, removing the battery won't remove the songs. Be careful if you don't use your player for some time though. If you leave the battery like this in a discharged state it can be ruined.

  • Ipod just keeps restarting

Ok My Ipod has only a tiny bit of battery left and when I plug it into my computer to charge it it just turns on and off over and over again and my Itunes dose not recognize it.
    What should I do??
    I am running windows XP

Sometimes if the battery gets completely discharged, simply connecting to a USB port on the computer doesn't supply enough power to "kick start" the charging process. In theory it should do, but yours seems to be a common problem.
Do you have access to a wall charger?

  • Download more sounds will not finish. Just keeps restarting.

    Anyone having this problem?

I had problems downloading it. It timed-out a couple of times.
I had to re-start my 2012 MacMini with Mavricks, 8GigRam & ssd. But after several tries,
I finally got it after several hours using cable modem.
I now have all the different "drummers" usable on my GarageBand.
However, I haven't had time to sit down and familiarize myself with it yet.
Perhaps alot of people are trying to download it and are bogging-down the apple servers alocated to this?
You might try downloading it at odd hours when most people is the u.s. are asleep.

  • K1 keeps restarting just after lenovo & Nvidia logo

After applying last update (US version) which was probably early January, my K1 tablet worked for couple of days then suddenly stopped working and now it just keeps restarting after lenovo logo. Doesn't go any further. Any ideas/hints how it can be restored to factory default or something like that. Data is not my concern as I do have backup, just wanna make it a functional unit.

They said mine had a bad motherboard? it started doing this right after an update.  Got it back after they replaced the motherboard and 3 days later it did it again.  Someone say's it's a corrupt bootloader, but you can't get into it in this condition to fix it?  Waiting on a new replacement in the next week or so.
Seems like a software issue, but you have to mail it out to Lenovo for service every time?

  • Ipod keeps restarting on its own

I just plugged my ipod into my PC, and it just keeps restarting over and over again. The apple symbol comes up and looks good, then goes dark and restarts again. Then sometimes it gets to the menu and shows the do not disconnect logo, but then restarts immediatly. It did this all night long...hours and hours....what do I do?

Take a look at the article I provided a link to in my first post. Make sure your Hold switch is set to off, and try resetting your iPod a few more times. If your computer detects your iPod, try a restore with the latest iPod Updater (version 1.1.1). If your computer doesn't detect the iPod, try forcing it into disk mode.
If the problem persists, you may have to contact Apple.

  • IPhone 5 won't get past apple screen (keeps restarting)

    Hello
Bought an iphone 5 just before the ios 7 release and for the last little while the phone would shut off a After a full charge when it hit approximately 97% of full charge it would shut off!  Now it won't get past the apple screen and just keeps restarting over and over again.
Does anyone else have this problem with their iphone 5 and if so any solutions???
Our carrier Fido says this is an IOS 7 issue. Can anyone help
    Thanks
    Shep

    Hey Shep77,
That definitely sounds frustrating! To completely isolate the issue, you may want to restore your iPhone in recovery mode, as outlined in this article:
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
iPhone is unresponsive and displays the Apple Logo
Review this article: iOS: Unable to update or restore.
.The above article also has great troubleshooting steps for Power issues, you may want to run through those if restoring does not resolve your issue:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
    - Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
    - Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion.
    Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
    - Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
    - After at least 15 minutes, if:
                   - The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
                   - The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
                   - Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
    - If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
                   - If the display turns on, go to step 4.
                   - If the display remains black, go to next step.
    - Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to
restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
    - If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • After Effects download keeps restarting

Premiere, Audition, Photoshop and Lightroom have downloaded fine, however After Effects just keeps restarting the download - 3.5Gb of bandwidth so far and it has just restarted again - back at 1% ! Highest it's got to is 60 %. This is very frustrating.

AE is about 1.1 GB, but your IE temp space has nothing to do with it. ADM/ AAM use your system's global temp... anyway, if it doesn't work, you can try the direct download:
Direct Download Links for Adobe Software
AAM will/ should recognize the external install and provide the licensing.

  • My ipod keeps restarting and i can't find anything online to fix it.

I was using my ipod touch 4g today and it was being slow and freezing a little, so restarted it.  That usually works but this time for some reason my ipod didnt get past the apple logo and it just keeps restarting.Anything i can do? I've seen people fix it on youtube, but they all require the use of the home button, and mine is broken.  Is there any other way to fix it?  And if not, will apple replace it? It's not jailbroken or anything.  Thanks and advance.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it says place the iPod in recovery mode use one of these programs:
    For PC
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
    If necessary:
    Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot
    For MAC or PC
    The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
