I need to add two Talking Book downloads from BBC to my I pod how do I authorize this to take them ????
Must add downloaded on PC with access to apple store need to add to Mac I Pod library that has no internet connection.

I had my computer reformatted and everything was earased off of my computer. I have songs on my ipod that aren't on my itunes anymore. I still have them on my computer but I can't transfer some of the songs because I did not purchase them through itunes. How can I get the songs from my Ipod to my itunes?!

All or nothing approach to non-Apple downloads

I downloaded software from a site. Opening it was blocked because I did not get it from the Apple store or, apparently, through their channels.
In order to run it, I have to allow my laptop to allow downloads from anywhere.
I want to be able to accept a download from the one site that I did the download from, not the fruits of some script kiddies' labors.
Is there a way to identify on a site-by-site or app-by-app basis, the things I want to run, or is this something that Apple needs to add to their list of things to do?

I did buy the server app, went to the app store to download it. This system I'm using for downloads is Snow Leopard 10.6.8, it shows that I can download it but only as an Install which says I need 10.8. I can't seem to find a way for it to just download as a package or .dmg file so that I can copy it to DVD/CD or flash drive.

You cannot. Those will be DRM locked to Apple authorized products. Since you cannot authorize you non-Apple smart phone in iTunes, you cannot play iTunes DRM locked content on it.

I want to do the following things but can't find one device that fits all purpose.
Wi-Fi router that has USB port to share external hard disk wirelessly to all devices (Mac, Samsung Smart TV, PC, Ipad, Iphone) along with inbuilt torrent download capability that also has a 3.5mm jack to do airplay.
Greedy? Yes I know but why can't we have it all I ask.
Airport Express severs Wifi Router + Airplay purpose
Then there are other non-apple routers in market that satisfy my need to attach external hard disk and stream to the devices mentioned (Note: Timecapsule will not stream to my Smart TV)
So I am thinking why not connect both Airport Express and a second non-apple router and get best of both worlds.

Apple Wireless Keyboard with Windows 7 on non Apple Hardware

I love the Apple Wireless Keyboard and it's the on I use when using my Thinkpad laptop as a desktop, meaning connected to an external Monitor and with an external keyboard and mouse. The Keyboard I use is an Apple Wireless Keyboard.
On my MBA 13 I use Windows 7 as my OS and the Apple lyouted keyboard works actually quite well with windows: The function keys perform very much like in Mac OSX with the volume, screen brightness, the fn+left or right for "home" or "end" etc.
Not I bought an Apple Wireless Keyboard to use in conjuction with my Thinkpad but all does features are missing. I guess that this has to to that on the MBA 13 the appropriate drivers where installed when the whole Bootcamp Software package was installed.
Since I obviously cant install the whole Bootcamp CD on non Apple Hardware, is there any way to just download somewhere the drivers for Apple KEyboards so the behave the same way as they would on a Mac running Windows?
Or is there any other way I could use my Apple Wireless Keyboard with non Apple Hardware the same way it behaves on my MBA 13 running Windows 7? Can somwhere lolely the Apple Keyboard drivers be downloaded?
I want to thank anyone who is kind enough to help mme with this mather in advance and please leave out comments of the kind that I it's my fault, I should have bought an Apple machine from the beginning. After 3 frustrating hours of trying every tip on the net, I found the answer: Try this.
"This finally fixed it for me: Device Manager - Open System Devices, you will find a Bluetooth HID Device. Double Click it, open Driver tab and click "Update Driver" Select Browse my Computer, then "Let me Pick". It should now show TWO compatible drivers with exactly the same name. One of them is the Microsoft one, one is the non-working Chinese ****. Install one of them and see if the driver properties changed to the right (Microsoft) driver. If not, try again with the other one. For me, the Microsoft driver was the first one in the list, but this may be different for you. Wow, an annoying and intense hour of trouble shooting finally over..."

The issue is related to the Chinese version of the driver that the latest windows update applies that stops the keyboard from working.
I'm typing this on the Apple Wireless Keyboard on Windows 7 64 bit on my PC. Finallly!

If you already changed System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Allow apps downloaded from: to Anywhere then issue is not Gatekeeper which is the built-in service that prevents apps from unidentified developers from being executed. It's possible that you need to either reinstall the App or maybe is simply not compatible with Mavericks yet. In any event you should be able to at-least look for a crash log for more information.
