Non Budget related GL accounts

Hye Experts
I have some Gl accounts which are not relevant for budget. I dont want this GL accounts to be checked for budget. What shall I do.
Shall i create a committment item with not relevant for budget or any statistical committment can be created which will not check the budget controll.
Thanks and Regards
Suresh

If the non budget related accounts you can create a derivation strategy to derive a tolerance profile that that has a usage rate of 999% .For example our accounts that end with a "1" derives a different tolerance profile that the accounts which we budget very strictly (100% usage rate).

  • Approval Query for AP Invoices Containing Budget Related GL Account

    Hi Experts,
I would like to create a approval template for all AP invoices that include a GL account that is related to the budget. Can you please help me with the approval query?
    Thank you!
    Jane

    Hello Gordon Du,
"B1 approval will only apply to document level. If you want to check line level, only the first line can be subjected to."
I was thinking to trigger the approval process based on a document (AP invoice) containing relevant cost centres on a line by line basis as entered via one of the enabled dim fields.
Writing a trigger query for each cost centre effected? This does not appear to be a good solution, what is a better direction. Is there another way? (PO are not yet used via SAPB1)
Currently my invoices add, but do not trigger the approval process based on my attempts thus far.
Can the originator manually choose an approval pathway?
If this is against posting etiquette delete and advise.
I am a relative newbie to SAP B1, so am happy to be pointed to relevant help files. I arrived via  google searching and arrived here.
    Thankyou.

  • Budget and non budget GL account

    Dear Experts,
I have a GL Account which relavent to Budget (I have been ticked it in GL Chart) but this account sametime  this account use for non budget. How am in going to split out? if i don't to create 2 accounts one for budget and one for non budget.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Danny

    Hello
I do not understand the request, the account is or is not relevant to budget ??... As can be two options???
Still, it strikes me that you could create a user field in the Chart of Accounts that allows you to indicate this condition to take control then you need through searches preformatted.
I hope you be of help.
    Best regards,

  • Classifying the Project Purchase requisition as Budgeted/Non-Budgeted.

    Dear All
There is a budget limit that is maintained for each project.
However there are some expenses that are not planned at the time of setting the budget value. Thus when budget gets exhausted ,the budget value is increased but there is no track as to which materials have been procured without planning.
Hence end users have suggested  that there should be an option to select whether the line item in PR is budgeted/non-budgeted.
    Options available
    1) In account assignment tab(item level ) of PR a new radio button/drilldown selection option .(This option is not likely as just for indicating purpose ,we dont want a  a standard screen is to be fiddled with. )
    2) After transaction is saved , a new screen should be called and entry should be made there which we can populate in a Z table.
    3) Use an existing empty field in PR and populate it as per our logic.
Please advise if any of the above points are more feasible, practical and if any other suggestion is given , it will be of great help.

    Hi,
You will have to do a development... no other way...... build up ur own logic...the system should trigger a check with this Badi 'ME_REQ_POSTED'
Use any of the enhancelemtn points here and develope your sreens and tables which need to be updated.

  • Is it ok to store non Premiere related files on my hard drive or is it better to keep it empty?

I just bought a new computer solely for using premiere pro and ableton live.  I have one 2 tb hd and one 1 tb hard drive. I plan on using one hard drive for windows, and running programs (premiere and ableton) and the other for video and audio files. I am running out of room on my external drives and I have all this empty space on my new computer.  My question is, is it ok for me to store files such as mp3s and non premiere related movies and documents on my new computer or will that mess with Premieres performance?  It just seems like a waste to have all that hard drive space.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It really depends on what kind of performance you want or need out of your hard drive and how much miscellaneous data you are talking about.  Here is the read performance of the current typical 2 TB hard drive.  As you can see as the drive fills up your performance drops.significantly

  • Relation between accounting document and vendor

    Hello,
What is the relation between Accounting Document Header ( BKPF ) and Vendor Master ( LFA1 ) ?
I need to provide a report for total number of documents for a particular vendor.
    Thank you.

    Hello,
LFA1 is just a master data table.
To get the number of open items you refer table BSIK
To get the number of cleared items, you refer table BSAK
These two tables gives you the number of line items posted on vendors.
    Hope this is informative.

  • Need to populate 'Order' field for Frieght charges related GL account item

When we are creating Billing Document for outbound deliveries, we need to populate a spcific value (which is fetched from a bespoke table) in the 'Order' field (COBL-AUFNR) corresponding to the Frieght Charges related GL Account item in the accounting document.
Can anyone please suggest which user-exit/badi/bte we can use to implement this enhancement?
I have seen that there are some user-exits with names such as EXIT_SAPLV60B_XXX ('001' to '008') and several others. Please suggest some useful solution.

    Hi
    U can use the exit 004, 005 and 006.

  • Assets under Construction - non budget relevant

    Hi All
When trying to settle assets under construction using tx code AIBU, the system checks for budget. How can we make this a non budget relevant transaction? We have tried maintaining table V_FM_TABW via tx code SM30 transaction type 346 but no joy.

    Dear Ivonne,
Depending on the release you are, you can choose between tx code AO73, and flag as "budget relevant" not active or checking note 736914.

  • Original non BT Yahoo email account

I've just come on to BT Broadband over the last couple of days and although I could access my non BT Yahoo email account yesterday I cannot today. I see there is something about SMTP verification - is that what I need to do? Or do I need to access via Outlook Express - which at the moment is downloading only my (disconnected but still live) ntlworld emails! Can I in all this preserve my inboxes, folders and files, and address books from both the Yahoo and current Outlook Express accounts?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    alipali wrote:
Thanks for reply - sorry I didn't realise it was one when I got it in my mailbox (but that's another matter!) I don't think I explained myself well. I did in fact find my original Yahoo account in the end but I can only find it if I close BT Yahoo down and go to the www.yahoo.co.uk site (ie if I try to put this address in while I have BT Yahoo up I cannot get it).
Apologies if it sounds like I'm being awkward - I'm not - but "I cannot get it" doesn't give much to go on!
Why not ?   What happens ?
I find that, with a BTYahoo window open and signed in, if I open another tab and go to yahoo.co.uk I'm logged in as my BTY persona. Signing out of that, and logging in again with a yahoo ID gets me a page where I'm signed in with my Yahoo credentials.
    Doe that help ?
I don't have Yahoo or BT Yahoo downloading to my Outlook Express only my old ntlworld account which is still operative in my previous home (where family still use it) so presumably I can continue to get these although I cannot reply so of course I'm in the process of letting all contacts/subscriptions know.
I'm not sure if you're referring to Yahoo, BTYahoo or NTLworld...
What I would like to do is have all 3 email accounts downloading to OE but could I do this without losing any of the archives/address books?
OE could, I think, be setup to deal with all 3, yes (but I don't use OE, so I can't be specific as to exactly what you'd need to do) and leave your archives and address books alone.
I say "OE could, I think, be setup to deal with all 3". What I really mean is that it's possible - if OE can't do it, there are certainly other mail clients that can.
And could I reply to both Yahoo and BT emails?
Yes - it'll require some setting up, which I can't help you with.
Or would I be better just to have BT as an email account (preferable) but how would I do this without losing the other two accounts' files/folders/contacts?
The BT/Yahoo mail servers don't do IMAP, so you won't be able to sync. folders, contacts etc with OE, but they should still be usable via the webmail interface.
BTY can be configured to fetch email from other accounts - would that be of any help ?

  • Integreated Versus Non integreated system of accounting

    Hello experts
I want to know whether integreated and non integreated system of accounting can be followed concurrently in SAP.
that is to have the separate system for cost accouting and financial accouting and to have the separate trial balance as per cost accouting and financial accounting. is it possible?
Basically because of the inherent differences in these two types of accouting, there will be different profits .
Hence i want to know whether it is possible to have the different trial balance as per these two systems?

Within SAP you can produce a P&L statement both in FI (finance) and CO (controlling).  Trial balance exists in FI.  The answer to your question is yes.

  • BPC on non-finance related -?

    Hello SDNers,
I'm new to BPC, saw a lot of samples, demos and articles on finance-related BPC capabilities.  I wonder if it can be done on non-finance-related things?  And what would be samples of that?
Have you implemented anything like that?  If it's ok for you to provide a high-level business scenario for it?
    Thank you all!

    Hi,
Non reporting type applications are usually used to store the data which helps in doing the main operation. A typical example would be currency conversion rate information. The rate information just helps us in converting the currencies.
The main planning or consolidation process should be done on the reporting type applications.
    Hope this helps.

  • Non-Verizon e-mail account

Does anyone know if I can keep my non-Verizon e-mail accounts when I get a FIOS connection?  The reason I ask is I previously had a Verizon DSL account and I could not use my e-mail account with a seperate ISP.  Is this scenario possible with a FIOS Internet account?

On residential accounts Verizon blocks port 25 on all but their SMTP server, on the Verizon network. You would need to route your mail through outgoing.verizon.net. It is the only way to send residential outbound mail, unless you use a webmail account. I have been using Outlook Connector with MAPI connecting to my msn account, but suspect it would work with other web based email accounts.
I have seen this stated many times, but I have had no trouble sending emails using an sbcgobal server for the last two years while using my FiOS connection. I have AT&T DSL service at a lake house and I have that account defined in my Outlook Express with the SMTP server specified as smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com, using Port 25. I don't use that account for sending very often when I am on FiOS, but I just did another test and and the email went just fine (I sent it to one of my Verizon email accounts and received it just fine, and looking at the source of the email it clearly shows it came from the AT&T server). I also do the reverse, send from my FiOS email account using OE while connected via AT&T (I did have trouble in the beginning because they were blocking Port 25, but a short phone call to their tech support fixed that problem).
I don't know whether Verizon only blocks port 25 in certain areas of the country, or perhaps have removed the block completely, but it most certainly works ok for me.

  • ON PREM Outbound emails showing in dummy non-configured office 365 account message flow trace

    Dear Community,
We have an on-prem exchange 2013 server and an office 365 account which is completly standalone.
Whilst the office 365 account is standalone, it does feature the email address we use for on-prem (Ie. the domain name in office 365 account is not active for any office 365 services however has passed ownership verification thus it's just sitting there)
We DON'T use EOP nor do we have any connector rules on our on-prem system that go to office 365 however when I randomly went into the 'Message Flow Trace' section in our office 365 account, there is recorded outbound mail which was sent from our On-prem
    server.
The ONLY mail that was recorded in the message Trace in Office 365 was emails we had sent from On-prem to other office 365 accounts (For example btconnect.com, and some of our clients whom also use office 365) .
How is office 365 picking up mail we've sent from our On-Prem server? Is there integration out of the box in exchange 2013 which auto interfaces with office 365? What on earth has happened here?
    I'm really confused.

MX records are not set to office 365, the MX is pointing directly to the on-prem exchange server.
The problem is; Office 365 Mail Delivery Trace is displaying mail we've sent via our On-Prem server - We are having trouble understanding why this is happening.
To clarify, the message tracer in Office 365 is displaying outbound mail (Which for example, a user has sent out from their outlook) BUT only outbound mail which is being sent to other office 365 users.
We do not have mail on office 365, only on-premise hence the reason why we are flabbergasted to why the mail we are sending out would be displaying on the office 365 message tracer.
To further clarify, we are only seeing addresses in the office 365 message trace which belong to recipients whom use office 365 for their mail.
    Hope this makes sense.
getting messy O365 users to another O365 you mean?
You mentioned if they send email using their MS Outlook Client.
I'd suggest you to send another email to the same recipient but using OWA
There may have been an office 365 connector in Outlook.

  • GR non valuated ticker in account assignment category

    Dear Experts,
A customer have set up their own account assignment category. In this they have both the "GR non valuated" and "GR non valuated firm" ticker set.
I cannot see that this makes any difference to having only the GR non valuated firm ticker set?
If the "GR non valuated firm" ticker is set, you always have to have GR and also always non vaulated GR
With "GR non vaulated", you have to have non valuated every time to do GR (but it is optional to do GR)
So, if you have set the first, setting the second makes no difference?
    Am I right?

    Hi,
They are completely different setting (for different purpose).  Once both indicators are set in OME9 for your related AAC, then when you are maintaining PO with such AAC, the GR-non-valuated indicator will be set defaulted and greyed out (i.e. you can't be able to deactivate).  If only GR-non-valuated indicator is set, then this indicator checkbox will be defaulted (but not greyed out) and therefore, you can change if you wish to.  Yet, these settings are not relevant to the case of raising multi account assigned PO as in this particular case, SAP will automatically set the GR-non-valuated indicator checkbox regardless of if you have made any settings in OME9.
    Cheers,
    HT
