Non-existent folders are listed under My Folders in PSE Organizer 11

I've posted this question before in this forum, but I think it may not have been clear. Hopefully, with the inclusion of this screenshot, I'll make myself clearer with my problem. Now, as you can see, many folder names are listed under "My Folders." Although these folders may have, at one time, existed on my hard drive, all of them (with the exception of the Pictures folder) have been deleted from my hard drive quite some time ago. Okay, so the problem is this: I cannot delete these folders. If I right click on a folder name, the Delete option is grayed out and inactive. In fact, the only option available after I right click one of these folders is "Create an Instant Album," which obviously is not going to happen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but to no avail. Does anyone have a clue as to how I can delete these unused folders?

Thanks for the feedback, I am happy that could help you.
The reason I thought you had disconnected files is that the 'My Folders' list is created only from the contents of your catalog, not from your Explorer/Finder. There is no reason to have such subfolders shown with the typical icon for empty folders. That means that those subfolders are still present in the catalog, but that the Organizer has not found real image files in such folders while checking in the real folder structure of your OS.

Everything was as usual this morning and now all of a sudden my email folders no longer show as sub folders under my email account. The InBox is in the middle of the other folders and I can NOT find the main account for which all of my folders were listed under.
I really don't know how else to explain this and just hope someone can give me some help.

How find those media that are listed under "Project Assets" but no longer used in Timeline?

Good day everyone.
Been working on a fun project for a while now and overtime, I've added audio, images and vidoes to my project that later, I decided not to use in the Timeline. These media (for example, a specific song, or a picture) are still loaded when I load the project and are listed under the Project Assets of course. The reason being, I never deleted them from from the project.
Now, I probabaly have about 30 to 40 such cases. It's time to clean house and I want to know if there is a commend or some way to get Premiere (PE12) to highlight, flag or somehow let me know which media, though listed and loaded, is not used in the Timeline.
Any chance this functionality exists?

For your consideration...try on a new mini test run project before you use it on a "real" project....
Open Project Assets
Click on its Panel Options Tab
In Panel Options select View
In View select List View
In List View all the files that are in Project Assets and are on the Timeline will have a green dot in the Used column.
If you remove a file from the Timeline, the green dot next to the file involved will disappear.
You should be able to go through the opened Project Assets/List View and Clear all those entries that do not have a green dot next to them.
Another safety net to consider....make a copy of the "real" project, and try the above on the copy.

I have a Macbook Pro running Leopard 10.5.8. I had a problem with my my operating system (my fault, I moved a file I shoudnt have) couldnt boot up but was able to boot up from a backup. I managed to repair my original system except now all the system folders, including hidden folders are littered with duplicate folders and files with the suffix (from old Mac). For the most part the dupes are an exact copy, but not always. I want to remove them to free up space and cant imagine duplicate folders in the /system/library are not hindering my computer. But I dont know where to start and am afraid of doing irreparable damage. Any ideas

You can't share preview files to an iOS device. There are several other options for pdf's such as Adobe Reader or iBooks.

If you turned on Photo Stream and don't want these pictures on your phone, just turn it off. As mention by wjosten, if you want to remove photos from Photo Library, or any of the albums under Photo Library, you have to deselect them on the Photos tab of your sync settings and sync your phone to remove them. Also, although the photos int Photo Library may appear to be duplicates of the photos in the albums, they aren't. The actual photos are all in Photo Library; the albums only contain links to the photos. Finally, you can only delete albums created on your phone, not ones synced from your computer. And they can only be deleted after they are empty.

Start query : project reports & ask for period April 2008 (Period from/to). .
You will see items listed under Not assigned WBS Element (column name)
If you choose for a period of April until June 2008 then you see more items under u201Cnot assignedu201D .
Items should be under Assigned (column name) & not under the Not assigned (column name )

Can bookmarks be organized so the folders are listed first (above) the urls like they are in Internet Explorer?

In Internet Explorer I nest web addresses (urls) inside folders in a folder tree. This is something Internet Explorer actually does quite well. It would really be helpful when you open a folder in the Firefox Bookmarks to see all the folders nested within it listed at the top before any urls that might also be in the folder. If anyone knows how to do this, I'd sure appreciate knowing. Thanks.

The extension SortPlaces gives you many options on how to sort folder, the urls within folders, the urls not in folders, and the bookmarks toolbar items. I use SortPlaces for the almost 4,000 bookmarks that I have within and outside of many, many nested folders.

Folders not listed under proper account

First I set up Mail with an IMAP account from Fastmail.fm. The account is listed under INBOX and all the folders I have on Fastmail are properly listed under the account name.
Then, I added another IMAP account from Netscape (AOL). This account is also duly listed under the INBOX. However, all the folders in this account are listed below the default Mail folders (Draft, Sent, Trash, Junk).
How do I get the Netscape folders to be directly under its account name (and accessible with the drop-down triangle)?

Actually, it's the Fastmail account that Mail isn't handling properly. Mailboxes on the server should not appear as subfolders of the account's Inbox. You must put INBOX in Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > IMAP Path Prefix for Mail to handle this account properly.

How do you organize bookmarks so all the folders are listed at the top of the list?

When I click on bookmarks, the folders are scattered among the uncategorized bookmarks that I have added. This makes it harder to sort through. I want all of the folders to stay in alphabetical order at the top of the list, and the individual websites to fall in below this. it is so frustrating to look for bookmarks all mixed together that I just go to internet explorer, where the system seems more logical. I can't find an easy way to set the format I want as a default setting with the folders at the top below the uncategorized items.

No bookmarks show in the Library (Show All Bookmarks" but they are listed under Bookmarks on the right side of the screen.

All bookmarks are listed in the Bookmark menu (right side of Firefox 19). When I select "Show All Bookmarks", the library comes up, but there are no folders or bookmakrs in the left pane. Entering anything in the search window turns up nothing.
I already uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, same problem. I also use XMarks to sync my bookmarks, but I've never had a problem with that.

Sync Contacts and Calendar Appointments using Link; No folders are listed to select

When I go to Contacts or Calendar Configure in the "Select the folder you want to sync" window, there are no folders listed to choose from. I've tried re-booting, re-connecting and Reset settings for my Sync. Still there are no folders to choose from. Please help.

This is exactly what I am dealing with. Blackberry Link will work great for awhile and then something happens and I can not sync my contacts. I have spent many hours and days trying to fix this to no avail. BB support has been great but I still go through a long process each time. This week I finally gave up and started using the Microsoft Hotmail Outlook Connector since my company does not offer Active Sync or Exchange. It works flawlessly. I would dedfinitely check it out. If you swith to a Widows Phone or Android this is one of the options they recommend you use.
In a nutshell Link is awful and BB should be ashamed of the product they put on the market. I will only use it for syncing pictures and documents. Good luck!

Dispatcher/server folders are missing under j2ee\cluster

Hi Experts,
We had one portal system and we found the dispatcher, server0, server1 folder and the instance.properties file were missing from one of the instance server.
Another symptom was that we can not see the instance in the configtool. We did't know what happened, could be deleted by someone accidently.
We had daily backup of the disk drivers, so we could restore the whole folder. My question is, we can not even see the instance in configtool, does it mean the instance was also missing on the database? Could restore the whole cluster folder work in this case?

You won't see any server node in config tool if the configuration files are missing. You should be able to restore the missing folders from your last successful backup. You can check the system logs who has logged on to your system and should be able to trace the culprit.
