Non-explicit version of the song Thrift Shop ...

I listened to the version to make sure it wasn't the explicit one ... then downloaded it ... and finally found out that it had downloaded the explicit version !
Anybody know why ?

Hardly anybody downloads non-explicit versions, so probably nobody even knows it is mislabeled in the Store. You can report it to iTunes Customer Service. Indicate that you request the correct version, or if that is not possible, a refund.

In the iTunes Store, search on the song title. If there exist both a Clean and Explicit version, they will both appear and be labeled accordingly.
Sometimes, there is not a Clean version available.

iTunes Store staff members do not participate in these forums, and even if they did they would not know why a non-explicit version stil has objectionable content. All they could tell you is that it's the record company that provides the track, and every company, and sometimes different people within a different company, has a different idea as to what "explicit" means, and so such content can vary. Or they may have just missed that word during the editing process.
As tonefox said, report it to the iTunes Store.

My hard drive crashed so I had to reinstall iTunes. Now I can't see the full versions of the songs I purchased recently in iTunes.

I can see the preview versions of the songs in my account but I don'[t know how to restore the full versions. Thanks for any advice.

Depending on which country you are in, then you might be able to re-download the music from iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . Otherwise have you not got a backup of your purchases on, for example, an external drive or DVD that you can copy back onto your computer and add into iTunes ?

Ipod displaying a monochrome non-animated version of the battery icon...

I think my ipod's battery is depleted and when i connect it to the USB port in my computer, it shows a monochrome non-animated version of the battery icon...the troubleshooter says that the ipod will turn on in abt 30 minutes...however i have waited for abt 3 hours and still the battery icon is there...and also after sumtime the apple logo appears on the screen for and then the ipod switches off...the logo appears for abt 5 times before displayin the monochrome non-animated version of the battery icon again...and it keeps repeating and the ipod wont turn on...can any 1 pls help?

I encountered this problem several times, too. The b/w logo appears because the battery is deeply discharged. In my cause, it is replaced by the normal screen after some minutes (after the battery was charged a bit).

Contact iTunes Customer Service and explain that the item was purchased by mistake. They may or may not grant the exchange, but it is worth asking.
The iTunes Store is well aware that nobody actually wants the Clean version. The Clean songs are only there to look good for the authorities, or for people buying songs for little kids.

Where can i find a "radio edit" version of the song All About That Bass?

I'm looking for the song by Meghan Trainor, not any other version, but one that is edited for radio (no swears). There are 2 on iTunes, one is "Deluxe" and that's what I downloaded, but it's not edited. Anyone know how to get the radio version?

Can i uninstall all the non 2014 versions of the software (Ex. Photoshop, Premiere ect.)? Wondering since i don't want to break any programs.

Id like to know if i can uninstall all the non 2014 versions of adobe products. Id rather know before i try as i don't want to break some programs but i need to free up some pc space.

I keep getting this error. Yesterday as I downloaded 8 songs from iTunes store the computer paused then continued. After seeing all the songs were downloaded I tried to play some, 2 kept telling me that I had to authoriae the computer. I reauthorized the computrer only to reveive a message that the computer was authorized. I still can't play the 2 songs other than going through the authorized computer template then when I play those 2 songs I only get the preview version even though it show all songs were paid for and downloaded

This is bad and I am sorry to hear that you are running into these issues.
Let me connect with you, so right now, the current state is that you have installed copy of PSE 8 in trial on your windows 7 machine, and when you are trying to enter the serial number from your PSE 8 Box, it is saying the serial number to be invalid?
It might sound pretty obvious, but please make sure that you are entering the serial number correctly and of PSE 8(in case you bought a PEPE box)?
Have you tried the steps mentioned below by Barbara?
If possible, you can send me the serial number through PRIVATE MESSAGE and I can check it on my end that whether the serial number is indeed invalid or that the issue is with your machine?

Play two versions of the song back to back is4

I have several songs in itunes where I have a standard copy of the song and the remix. I always keep my itouch on shuffle. Every time it plays a song thats has a remix it plays the song first and its remix right after. How can i fix this. I dont want to hear the same song back to back. I would like for it to play the standard version sometimes and the remix versions sometimes. hence why its on shuffle.

The shuffle alorithm is random, but not all that great. Even so, I have a hard time believing that everytime you play a song with an alternate version that the alternate always plays right after (or before). The algorithm isn't great, but it's not that bad!
In any case, there is no way to steer iTunes or iPod to avoid playing a certain sequence of songs. About the only thing you can do is increase the population of songs you're shuffling and/or use smart playlists to filter out alternate versions of songs completely.

Your friend can get a new Apple Id for themselves, and create a different account on one of the laptops. Then put all their music in a separate iTunes library, and sync the phone to that particular library.
This will keep there music separate from your library and their brother's library.
Just make another User on your computer for your friend to store their music in.

I live in rural New Zealand and want to buy the student version of cs6, but can only find the CC version. I have very unreliable and slow internet access so CC is not an option for me.
