  • Non profit pricing for CS6 Design Standard

    Hi
Can anyone tell me if Adobe offers non-profit organizations a reduced price on CS6 Design Standard?  If so, how to I request the reduced price?  We are a 501 (c) (3) organization, with a very tight budget but I would like to be able to continue to use CS6 for the desktop publishing tasks I need to do.  In my previous position that is what I used, so I'm  used to it and comfortable with the program.  Trying to use MS Publisher is frustrating.
Many thanks for any responses that help me.

  • Non-Dreamweaver templates for Contribute

Are there any guidelines anywhere for creating the equivalent
of Contribute editable/non-editable templates for sections of HTML
pages which were not created by Dreamweaver; for example,
guidelines on the use of <!-- begineditable--> etc.?

    Ian,
The Dreamweaver template system works from the standpoint of
a "deny all, allow some" mentality.
Initially a Dreamweaver template file allows no editing to
any sections. When modifying the template in Dreamweaver or any
other text editor, the addition of the begin/end editable pairs
enables the editing of any content existing within the tag pair.
If you want to create a template for use with Contribute
outside of Dreamweaver just create the file with any editable
sections you desire then change the file extension to .dwt and
place it in the "Templates" directory on your CPS managed
webserver. Any files in the "Templates" directory that end with
".dwt" will be loaded on the next startup of the Contribute client.
By default the Publisher and Writer roles allow access to all
templates in the "Templates" directory via the Contribute client.
Also, make sure that the "whatever" text mentioned by Murray
is unique to each individual editable region.
Please note that the Contribute/Dreamweaver template
interaction is *not* a run-time template system. Dreamweaver
templates are design-time templates. If you have sections of the
template that change later then those changes will need to be
applied on a page-by-page basis to each page using a given
template. This functionality is automatically handled within the
Macromedia workflow by using Dreamweaver to download the entire
site then having it update all pages that are based on a given
    template.
The piece of the code that denotes which template is assigned
to a given page is as follows:
    <!-- InstanceBegin template="/Templates/level2.dwt"
    codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" -->
with an acompanying closing tag of:
    <!-- InstanceEnd -->
The "InstanceBegin" tag should follow the opening html tag
and the "InstanceEnd" tag should precede the closing html tag.
The important piece of the "InstanceBegin" tag is the value
of the "template" attribute. This needs to be the path to the
specific template file relative to the webroot on the server.
    Hope this helps.

  • Non profit qualifications for Australia?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I have searched everywhere and cannot find an answer anywhere and Adobe only offer phone contact details which does not suit me.
I work for a non profit organisation in Australia and am trying to find out whether Adobe offers the creative suite here under education prices. Under the Education link it seems to say that it does offer it internationally including Australia but then when you click on the institution tab it says it only applies to the US and Canada. It's very frustrating, I even went to the giftsinkind site which is where Adobe says you apply for it but once again no joy.
Has anyone else been able to get the creative suite in australia through adobe at the education prices for an NPO or do you just have to find a local reseller?

  • Charity (non-profit) Pricing?

I work for a charity registered in the UK. We will be purchasing vSphere Essentials to use on two servers and I've been trying to find out if there is separate pricing for charities but every query has lead to a dead end so far. Is charitable pricing available on vSphere Essentials Kit? We might be interested in vSphere Plus Kit if a significant discount were available.

  • Non-Profit Pricing

I'm really getting into LCCS and think that it would be a great fit for a few non-profits that I'm associated with.  What are the chances that there will be special pricing available for official registered non-profits?

    Hi OKCThunder9,
At this time, there isn't special pricing available to non-profits.  However, if you could, please send your request along with details to lccs [at] adobe.com.

  • Pricing for non-profits

I've done a search through the forums, and the thread I found
is old. The links there do not work. Do any of you know how I can
get a non-profit pricing for Dreamweaver? We can't afford much. I
tried at techsoup.org/stock, but apparently, we do not qualify for
the Dreamweaver pricing there, for some reason. I am looking for
    that kind of price ($25.00).

Perhaps it's your interpretation that's at fault. We were
    just having a bit
of banter - none of it was really directed at you.

  • Non-Profit Organization Discounts?

I was wondering if Adobe offers any type of non-profit organization discounts on their products. I am trying out the trial version of adobe formscentral and really need it for my non-profit organization, however 15 dollars a month is a LOT for a small business that has just opened. Are there any special pricing options for small businesses who are unable to afford 15 dollars a month?  Or is that all we have to work with ?

    Hi;
I can't speak for Adobe products overall, but know that the FormsCentral subscription does not have non-profit pricing.
The "Plus" plan, while it is a higher level of service, is cheaper over the course of a year than the "Basic" plan, it requires purchasing an annual subscription rather than month to month but only comes to $11.99/mo when the annual cost is divided by 12.
    Thanks,

  • Non Profit Discount

I'm sorry to be posting this here but I can't find any other place to put it.  I am trying to find out how to apply for a non profit discount for my organization so that we can get a more affordable price on DW CS4 suite.  I see info on the program and I see searching for a reseller but I don't see where or how to get approved by Adobe for the discount.  We are a long established 5013c organization.
    Thanks,
    GW Region 21

In order to get the discounts you have to go through authorized sellers.
Adobe direct sales will be able to help with this and I believe CDW also has handles non-profits for everything else technology wise including Adobe software.
