Non-Repudiation property for Service Operations

Hi guys,
Does anyone has the knowledge of what is the Non-Repudiation property used for on the Service Operations configuration component ?
I can not find the detail information from the PeopleBook or Oracle Support Website. Any docs are welcomed.
Thanks in advance!
Dennis

  • Setting Non-Editable property for selected Rows in jTable

    Hi,
I want particular rows to be set non-editable within a jTable. For example. If I have seven rows as follows:
    1
    2 - (Non-editable)
    3
    4
    5 - (Non-editable)
    6
    7
I want to set non-Editable property to the second & Fifth Rows(say) alone. Other Rows, I may edit.
    How can I do this?
    Thanks in adv.

    TableModel has method
    boolean isCellEditable(int rowIndex,
    int columnIndex)
so you need to make your table model return false for these rows.

  • ESWorkplace and ESR adopt different classifications for Services...but why?

    Hi,
While experimenting with ESOA I noticed Services are classified differently in ES Workplace (http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/) and ESR (http://sr.esworkplace.sap.com/)!
Can someone explain me the reason of it?
    Thanks
    Pietro
As example, take the EmployeeBenefitsParticipationHealthPlanByEmployeeQueryResponse_In  service
In ESWorkplace it is classified as
    - Service Operation - Read Health Plan
    - Service Interface -  Manage Employee Benefits Participation In
    - Business Process - Benefits Management
    - Software Component - ERP
On the other hand, in ESR, the same service is classified only as
    - SoftwareComponentVersion - ECC-SE / 603

    Hi Pietro,
There are no two different classifications.
At ESWorkplace, it shows the description of the Service and how it is bundled in SAP Packages ie. ES Bundles. It contains the metadata of Enterprise Services all at one place.
At SR(Service Registry), classification can be different . SR is used by service consumer to search for different available services and the WSDL information for it.It is used for consumption of services by external/internal entities.
If you have some ES available with ESR, it is not mandatory that the same ES would also be available with Service Registry. It would be available only if it is published with the UDDI registry.
The example u posted contains description for service operation(ist one)
and in second case, merely a Software Component Version in ESR.
Service Interface Manage Employee Benefits Participation In belongs to Software Component ERP and
    Service Operation EmployeeBenefitsParticipationHealthPlanByEmployeeQueryResponse_In
belongs to Service Interface Manage Employee Benefits Participation In, Software Component Version -ECC-SE / 603.

  • User exit for Service order release ( needed operation details as import )

    Hi All,
I need a user-exit while service order release( tcode : IW31 ) activity . I find some of the exits, but none of those not having "Operation" details , all are having only header details. Please suggest if any user-exit is available for this or BADI . I tried with badi "ALM_ME_001_ORDER" , its not triggering at all while creation of service order.
Is there any way we can get from operation data from buffer, please suggest me the same.
    Thanks in advance,
    Pavan.

    Hi Thomas,
Thanks for reply. I saw the function exit which you mentioned , but it didn't have the operation details in import.
    Regards,
    Pavan

  • Purchasing - A/P Transaction Processing for Services and Non Inventory Item

On of the main areas of concern that businesses have is in the area of Purchasing, Goods Receipts and AP Invoices Processing - There is a requirement that businesses have widely referred to as 3-way matching.
While SAP Business One has this functionality covered quiet well via the following, there is still some need for enhancements so that the application can correctly reflect the AP Accruals:
    - Purchase Order processing with Approval Process (if configured)
    - Ability to perform Goods Receipts for Services.
    - Matching of AP Invoices to Goods Receipts with AP Invoice Approval Process (if configured)
The above transactions serve the 3-way matching quiet well for all purchases however when it comes to accuring for Services that have been provided, the application does not do this. The Goods Receipt transaction processing to acknowledge the service delivery is allowed however the related posting to the allocation account is missing.
The process that is followed by the application is same for Items that have not Inventory Items in Item Master.
As a result of the above, the business have to manually work out what the Accurals for services provided but not invoiced should be.
With little enhancement to the product this shortfall could very easily be overcome.

    Hi,
Once there are transactions, we cannot make existing Inventory type item to Non Inventory type item.
Check SAP note:937297 which states as follows :
    Symptom

  • Java startup property for Adobe document services

Hi guyz, since a while i'm facing a random issue when i generate pdf. All the configuration has been done, but when look at in configtool i see a missing parameter:
    -Dorg.omg.PortableInterceptor.ORBInitializerClass.com.sap.engine. services.ts.jts.ots.PortableInterceptor.JTSInitializer
Because it's in the recommendation parameter guide i guess it should be in, but someone can tell what those parameter deals about ?

    Hi,
Yes, this service is mandatory if you want to use Adobe document service. It should be set for all server nodes in the config tool.  This is Java startup property for Adobe document services. Without this parameter adobe service will not start as a result you will not be able to open adobe documents.
    Thanks
    Sunny

Don't know. You have not told us what system you have.

    Hello
I want to insert the xmldata from a xmlfile to the a table, with this scirpt:
    #!/bin/sh

ORA-22285 -> non-existent directory or file for FILEOPEN operation
I'd create a direcotrie and over utl_file.fopen I can write a file to this directorie, but this works over the path, not over the directory name. the utl_file_dir parameter was also set to the correct path. Whats wrong or how can I debug this problem?
    thanks.

    - the name of the directory is correct.
    - how can I check, that the user can use the directory?
    - in this logfile you can see that, the file name will replace correctly:

  • Host Agent Service critical - Paging file is too small for this operation to complete

    Hi all,
at the moment I have the problem that some of my hosts get in the errorstate critical in VMM 2012 SP1.
The error details in VMM are:
    Error (2912)
An internal error has occurred trying to contact the hostname server: : .
WinRM: URL: [http://hostname:5985], Verb: [ENUMERATE], Resource: [http://schemas.microsoft.com/wbem/wsman/1/wmi/root/cimv2/Win32_Service], Filter: [select * from Win32_Service where Name="scvmmagent"]
The paging file is too small for this operation to complete (0x800705AF)
    Recommended Action
Check that WS-Management service is installed and running on server hostname. For more information use the command "winrm helpmsg hresult". If hostname is a host/library/update server or a PXE server role then ensure that VMM agent is installed
    and running.
On the host i cannot connect to FailoverCluster or Hyper.V Manager. After a restart of the host the Problem is gone and the System is working without any Problems for some days.
The paging file is set to 4GB and the OS is Server 2012.
The hosts have 192GB of RAM.
The configuration of the pagfile didn't change from Windows 2k8R2 to 2012.
I didn't find any Errors in the eventlog. Do you have any idea where to check for that?
    Thanks,
    Patrick

The hotfix didn't solve the Problem for me either. The WMI crash came again after a couple of weeks.
An additional problem with VDS was detected and the following hotfix was installed:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2884597/en-us
Also a problem with Clusterservice was found, sadly MS is tagging this handle leak as "won't fix".
Nevertheless one WMI Instance is still growing...
We are testing a hotfix that so far looks promising. Its a private hotfix only right now. But the file is listed as KB494704 you may want to ask your support engineer to look into it.

  • Changing print format for the Shop papers -External service operations

    Hi Friends ,
We want print outs for the external service operations in our PM orders .
The standard format available with shop papers is displayed with some extra info .
We want to remove those info and add some extra info .
Can we change the printing format for these and how much effort it rquires .
    Regards
    AM

    Hi,
In OIDF, define the Shop Paper specially designed for External Service Operations.
In Order, in Print option, go to Operation Selection, select the required operation & select the print layout which is designed for External Service, so that, you can get the print out according to additional fields requirements.

  • Different GR/IR account for service entry and GRN for non-valuated material

    Hi,
Our requirement is GR/IR account while doing service entry and GR/IR account while doing GRN for non-valuated material (UNBW) should be different.
Though we maintain valuation class for material group (Transaction OMQW), system is picking only the valuation class maintained for blank entry in transaction WRX under OBYC setting.  The system is ignoring the respective valuation class G/L account.  Also if we maintain valuation class for service masters, then also while doing service entry sheet system is picking only the valuation class maintained for blank entry in transaction WRX under OBYC setting
Had i missed out any other setting.  Pls help.
    Regards

    Hi,
In OBYC, please maintain a GL for valuation class 3200 for services and a GL for val class 3300 for Non-valuated material in WRX.
    Regards

    Hello,
For developing Web Service definition, you do not need ABAP consultant. If you have development authorization with developer key maintained in your system, you can create Web Service definition in few mouse clicks using wizard (from SE37 or SE80). After creating the definition (which is transportable across the landscape), you have to configure it in each client (creation of end point using SOAMANAGER). Please see the link below which shows the details for definition and configuration.

  • Service operation support for EDISeparator adapter

    Hello Experts,
I am configuring the Sender EDISeperator adapter and the Sender service interface assigned to this EDISeperator adapter has multiple service operations attached to it.
An example is shown below :
I am getting the below error :
    Questions:
1.Can anybody help me to resolve this error.
    2. Does the EDISeparator adapter support Stateless interface pattern (i.e Service interface with multiple operations)
3.Is it mandatory to have the message type name (See "Name" column above) as ORDERS96A..i.e can we add suffixes to it like ORDERS96A_MT. I have noticed that if we add these suffixes the EDISeparator adapter throws an error. Is this understanding correct.
    Thanks
    Saurabh

    Hi Ryan,
Exactly the question i was expecting.
Communication Component A                    Mapping                      Communication Component B
    SI_Orders.Ean007  (  ORDERS96A )                                 MM_EAN007           ZCNOSE_ORDERS.ORDERS03
    SI_Orders.Ean008  (  ORDERS96A )                                   MM_EAN008           ZCNOSE_ORDERS.ORDERS03
    SI_Orders.Ean009   (  ORDERS96A )                                  MM_EAN009           ZCNOSE_ORDERS.ORDERS03
all the services interface have ORDERS96A message types ( but in different namespaces ) as its root node as shown above and the EDISeparator adapter at the receiver side is generating ORDERS96A before the split.
FYI, the mapping is done between the messages types in their respective namespaces and the common IDoc.
    Thanks
    Saurabh
