Non-Responsive NOKIA India Support Centre

I purchased NOKIA 5800 Music Xpress on the second day of it'a launch in India. 
Soon, I found some issues and tried calling / sending email to the Nokia Support Centre in India. I did receive some call backs from different agents but they were unable to solve the problems.
Now it has been 4- reminder emails and nearly 2 weeks and I am still waiting for someone to help me with the problems I have reported. There has been no response to my emails. The list of issues are 
Assigning Voice Command for Contacts to voice dialling
 “Download” application icon does not work properly - it shows “An unrecoverable error has occurred. Shutting Down” -  Quality of Still Photo is not very good – it shows lots of pixels /lines
 It keep connecting / disconnecting (on it’s own) with my MotorolaBluetooth Headset.
Maps (GPS) “Satellite” mode does not start – keeps asking forconfirmation of Bluetooth connectivity – “Motrola…..
When I download emails from POP3 account – the screen does not showthe email size – if it shows, it would help to decide which emails to open,which not to open 
I would appreciate that this messages gets passed on the concerned officer at NOKIA India and request for an early resolution.

First of all, which reset did you try or did you try both?
So you reckon it is an improvement but still not completely right. 
Those songs you were trying to play probably had drm licences which were lost during the reset. You should recover those when you do your restore.
BTW, have you an internet connection set up? Both download and the browser screen that comes up to unlock the music require it. Have you any access points set up for wifi by any chance or do you use packet data?

  • 1020 non-responsive screen

    My 1020 screen is non-responsive. The OS is working as well as the side keys but I cannot press anything and have it work. I've tried restarting the phone and even reset the phone without any luck. Anything else to try before I have to warranty it?

    How was your phone now? Are you still unable to access the screen? When did the issue begin to start? Did something happen to your phone prior to the issue? When did you purchase your phone? Is it happening all the time or just randomly? Did you reset your phone by pressing and holding both the volume down and the power keys until it vibrates? If yes, we suggest to go back to the Point of purchase to have it replaced or you may consider visiting the nearest Nokia Care Point within your area to have your phone checked by our technicians.

  • Firefox 13 is unusable hanging/non-responsive. I've downgraded flash, uninstalled plugins & un/reinstalled Firefox but I can't use it to try other possibl fixes

    Since updating to Firefox 13 it not only runs slow but hangs and becomes non-responsive on all different websites. I was told that the most recent Flash update was known to be incompatible with Ffx 13, so down-dated Flash and uninstalled non-essential plugins - which definitely helped, but has not fixed the problem.
    I haven't even been able to try the other potential fixes I've found on the Support site (adding into my computer's safe settings in case of firewall issue or creating a new profile) because Firefox won't work long enough for me to access them. At this point, shouldn't I just down-date to the last version of Firefox??

    All of a sudden firefox has become unstable - its hanging on the NYTIMEs website. I've done done everything - uninstalled, reinstalled, removed all add-ons, used default themes, reset firefox. Some serious problem here - I had to switch back to IE9. (Version 16.0.1 Firefox running under Windows 7)
    Oh by the way, I'm having the same problem on different computers all of which are running the latest firefox under Windows 7

  • What are you considering non responsive with the plugins? Flash player is working just fine then I get your crash page in the middle of doing something. You say it only crashes when it's been unresponsive for 45 seconds. Mine is crashing in less then 1

    I have had problems with firefox crashing for the last three month. I have updated to the latest version with the crash protection. Now the flash player crashes about every 20 minutes or so. On your blog page you state that I will get the crash page when the plugin has been non-responsive for 45 seconds well with mine the games are going along just fine then wham crash page. Flash player was responding and you gave me crash report anyway. What's up???? Flash player is crashing within seconds not 45 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your check plugin page always states that my plugins are UP TO DATE!!!!!

    Connect the device and select PC suite mode in the device
    Then click the icon on the menu bar, and go to tools and settings
    Then select check for updates now with the device connected.
    The device profile will be downloaded.
    Restart Nokia Multimediate Transfer and lauch again

    Just a note for people who are as non observant as I was and who might find this useful...
    My Nokia 6700 slide wouldn't sync, no matter what I did and even when I installed:

    For some reason, by default, my Nokia came with Sync settings disabled on the phone.
    So to remedy this, go to:
    Settings > Connectivity > Sync >
    And select all the things you want to sync before you run iSync.  I missed this in the manual, I spent about 8 hours trying to fix it and all to no avail until I found this simple ommission.
    Also, if you need to uninstall the nokia isync plugin, just go to:
    /Library/PhonePlugins
    and delete the relevant files.

  • My Ipad 2 no longer displays anything.It may come on for a few seconds,but then half of the screen goes completely black, and the system becomes non responsive to all bottons. At other times all four sides of the display becomes black, about 1/4 inch.

    Can anyone help me on this one? I got my IPAD 2 in June 2011. It never gave problems until a few days ago. It began to "hang", becoming non-responsive to all buttons. Then just yesterday morning, it went totally black. The display no longer displays. The Battery was charged 96%. I tried the power adapter, but had the same result. I tried the resetting, holding the two buttons for 10 seconds or more but no result. I have already restored it to the factory setting,(via my PC) and put back my apps etc. But after all this I still cannot see anything on the screen.
    I know it is still working, because from time to timer I hear the message alerts, and other sounds.
    Waht is the likely solution?

    Try a Reset...
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
    If no joy... Try a Restore...
    1: Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
    2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
    3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the steps in this article to force the device into recovery mode.

  • Cusrsor Freezes up and is non responsive- Solution?

    I am using a mouse with my newly purchase C2D MBP and still from time to time, getting the non responsive frozen cursor. As far as I can tell, there appears to be no rhyme or reason to this. This is my second computer. First there was an odd low pitch beeping sound coming from the left side near speaker as well as the non responsive frozen cursor. Exchanged the computer for exact same model I have now. No longer have the beep but noticing lately there is still the non responsive frozen cursor problem I had with the original one. The Apple solution as far as disabling track pad really has no relavelance to the problem I am experiencing with my computer as well as I see from others in this discussion. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions?

    1. Try unplugging the mouse and plugging it back it when it freezes.
    2. Note the exact time if freezes and check your system logs in your Console application for clues.
    3. Boot from your system install DVD, play around with the mouse awhile and see if you can get it to freeze. This will help determine if it's software or hardware related.
    4. You could have some bad sectors on your hard drive. Back it up and do a "Zero all data" reformat. Then clone everything back.

    My ipad2 is non responsive to touch.  I have updated the software using ITunes and have restored the device to factory setting and it still does not resonse.  Has anyone had this problem?  What do you suggest?

  • Non responsive area on screen

    Their is a band across my screen that is non-responsive to my mouse select button. from about 2 inches from the top to about 3.5 inches down from the top.

    That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar or the Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

  • Non-responsive Yahoo mail page

    My Yahoo mail page is non-responsive and is missing content (icons).  Browser (Safari 5.0.6) or Yahoo problem?

    I figured out what is going on.  The newer version of Yahoo mail no longer supports Safari 5.0.6.   You have two choices:
    1)You can upgrade your MAC 10.5.8 to 10.6 and get the newer version of Safari.  You can only upgrade if you have intel processor. 
    2) You can change your Yahoo mail from the newer version to Basic (there is no more Classic) by doing the following:
    Click the settings gear icon near your Yahoo! Mail's top right corner (or hover the mouse cursor over it).
    Select Settings from the menu that appears.
    Go to the Viewing email category.
    Make sure Basic is selected under Mail version.
    Click Save.
    I opted for option 2 and it worked!  I now have full access to Yahoo mail, icons and all.   I actually went to another newer computer to make the switch to Basic Yahoo.  Let me know if this works for you.

    4620 all in one printer front control panel buttons non-responsive.  The panel shows information but nothing happens when pushing buttons.  So I can not copy, etc.  I can print from the computer which is directly hooked up.  The wireless light is on even though I don't use it.  I have tried unplugging with no luck.

    I understand that the control panel display on your HP Officejet 4620 e-All-in-One Printer is unresponsive. I would like to assist you today with resolving this issue. There is the chance that either a power issue or Firmware Programming issue is occuring within your product. Therefore, to start troubleshooting I am going to have you perform some standard hardware troubleshooting steps. Please follow the steps below.  Step 1: Check Power: Please plug your printer directly into a wall outlet for power. Power strips and surge protectors may cause your printer to lack power and not respond properly. Once your printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet please power it on. Next, please test the control panel buttons and Copy function to confirm that the issue is resolved. Should the issue persist, please proceed to the next step.    Step 2: Perform a Power Reset: Turn your printer ONWith the printer ON please disconnect the power cable from the rear of your printerLeave the power cable disconnected for 60 secondsAfter 60 seconds plug the power cable back inYour printer should start back up on its ownOnce your printer returns to the Ready state please test the control panel buttons and Copy function to confirm if the issue has been resolved. However, before I am able to provide you with the correct Firmware Update to run I do need to know what Operating System you're using on your computer.
