None of my CC apps will launch, and CC desktop is nowhere to be found.

Yesterday everything was working fine.  Today I was working in Premiere, it froze up and I quit.  I tried to relaunch and the app just bounced in the dock.
The CC desktop icon is gone from my tool bar (Mac).  I tried to launch it from the App folder but when I double click it there is no response.  I then went to the creative cloud web portal and as a test tried to install a new app.  I clicked 'Download' and nothing happened.  I then went back to my local CC desktop app and tried to uninstall, but it told me to "Quit the program and try again."  So it's open?  But it's nowhere to be found, and even the adobe's web portal doesn't know it exists and can't initialize a simple download.
Basically, any and every single thing associated with CC, the apps and desktop client, even the website, is not working.  Some apps just never open, others get as far as a blank GUI then freeze up.
I'm on a deadline for a client.  Please advise?

  • None of my major apps will launch

Hi!  I'm getting the EPIC_APP will not launch problem trying to launch Acrobat, so I try to launch Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc., get the License Agreement screen, accept it, it goes away, and nothing more happens (incl. no indication in Task Manager that it has started).  I have a working internet connection (obviously, or I wouldn't be able to submit this question), but could it be a firewall issue anyway?  If not, what gives?  It's a fresh install of Adobe MC CS3 on a Toshiba Sattellite L305-S5933 running 32 bit Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 w/ 3GB of RAM.  Please help: I'm trying to use Acrobat to edit my 1040 and, obviously, time is of the essence! :-(  Thanks!

probably nothing helpful.  migrating adobe apps doesn't always work, and if it doesn't work you're better off uninstalling, cleaning and reinstalling per, Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

Try restoring from a backup. Connect the iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes. Right or control click the iPhone under Devices in the source list then click: Restore from Backup.

  • PS and LR CC, neither app will launch...

Just bought and installed PS and LR via CC both apps installed and are in the correct win dir. Neither app will launch (tho PS does very quickly flash the splash screen before closing). I have tried the fix at http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/cc-applications-crash-immediately-launch.html, it did not work. I done a system restore and went trough the whole CC install process again, but still LR nor PS will open.I have tried disconnecting from the internet before launch but also with no success. Have updated graphic the card driver and have all the latest windows drivers installed. Have spent many hours now trying to find a fix. Any ideas?

  • My iPhone 5s restarts while charging and none of my downloaded apps will open

MMy iPhone 5s restarts every time I plug it in to charge. And none of my downloaded apps will open except for a few. I've restartedmy phone, deleted the apps then redownloaded them, ive reset my network settings, and even reset all of my settings in general. But nothing will work

    Hello d.ashley.,
The troubleshooting steps detailed below can help stabilize your iPhone.
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

  • None of my CS6 apps will update now that I am using CC and the newest Adobe Manager

I had been using CS6 Master Suite for months then decided that I'd like to use the CC for which I purchased a membership. I have successfully downloaded, installed and ran several of the CC apps. I have the new CC Adobe Manager in place and have been notified that there are updates for both CC and CS6 apps. I have been able to update all CC apps but none of the CS6 apps are updating and giving me an error message: "Errors encountered during installation. (U44M1P7) More details.". I click on more details and am provided a finder window "Installers" and many "...log.gz" files. At that point I am unable to go any further for lack of knowledge. Can anyone here help?

  • None of our CS6 programs will launch

I cannot launch any or our nonprofit's Adobe CS6 products all of a sudden. I am not sure if it had anything to do wiith a huge bunch of Windows Updates I had to preform yesterday... like 23 updates I believe. I thought it was only an Adobe AcrobatX Pro problem since suddenly I could not view online PDF's in my browsers. I ran the fix I found online for that from step #1 here; http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/acrobat-failed-launch-30-days.html
I ran AcroFix three times. It finally decided it would work on Firefox at least so I thought all was solved. Now none of outr CS6 programs will launch. So I looked down to step #3 from that same link called Solution 3: Reactivate Acrobat through another Suite product
    It says to;
    Launch a CS6 Suite product.
Choose Help > Deactivate. Follow the onscreen prompts to deactivate.
    Close the application.
Launch the same CS6 Suite product again.
    Accept the EULA.
Sign in with your Adobe ID to register trial.
    Restart the application.
The problem is none of the CS6 applications will open! I get an error on every one that says; the program has stopped working and ut checks fr a problem, the says Windows will close the program and notify me if a solution is available.  BLAH!!!!
    What do we do now?
If it involves the upates I can reverse them or do a system restore if I hear back quickly enough, but Adobe needs to know and do something quickly because no way will I be alone. These were all updates to Windows x64 based systems that showed up on Novermber 14, 2013

There's an apple store in my city but it is about a 20 minute drive and I do not have apple care. Do you think they would still help me?

  • Is there a way to stop the OS from switching to a newly opened app?  I would like to be able to continue what I'm doing while I wait for an app to launch and not get interrupted by a forced entry into the app.

Is there a way to stop the OS from switching to a newly opened app?  I would like to be able to continue what I'm doing while I wait for an app to launch and not get interrupted by a forced entry into the app.
As an example, I'm going to my email in safari, while I wait for it to load, I open an excel document, and the OS decides excel should be the front app, so I go back to safari so I can enter my login info, but halfway through my password the OS decides that excel is where I should finish typing my password.
VERY ANNOYING.  Can I open apps in the background?

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. J D, I'm not a terminal fan, but I'm sure it works.  I found a solution that I can use in the dock from another post.
    Annoyed by Mac OS
Works great and allows me to maximize those multitasking minutes.

  • I am trying to uninstall and then reinstall the suite. The uninstall app Adobe says to use, however, is nowhere to be found.

As part of my effort to get cs6 (especially InDesign) to work flawlessly in Yosemite on my iMac, I am trying to uninstall and then reinstall the suite. The uninstall app Adobe says to use, however, is nowhere to be found. Not in Applications, not in Utilities, not in a search. Any advice?

    Hello Jimmy,
in this case I would download a really new trial version of your program(s) in question and change it/them into a "real" version later and it would be necessary that you have to use "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool".
Here an advice for that (The order varies depending on your individual needs. Please read all my proposals first, so you can better choose the first step:)
    1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html
    2. Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
    3. Did you already try "uninstalling and re-installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
I quote: Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool helps resolve installation problems for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6) applications. The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
Please use: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html   and follow the prescribed sequence of operations
    4. If necessary and for further questions click through http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.htl and if "open" please use the chat, I had the best experiences. I quote from Adobe's employee Preran: The chat button is activated as soon as there is an agent available to help.

  • None of my apps will launch

I am a new Ipad user.  Loaded numerous apps last night and suddenly none of them will launch.  I have a 16 GB wifi Ipad.  Am I missing something?

If it's happening on all the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store, but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
If it's happening on all apps including Apple's then try closing them all completely and then see if they work when you re-open them : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
