None of my iMessages are going through

I am getting iMessage "not delivered" error message even though my iMessages are going through. how do I fix?

I am using iOS 7.0.4 and recently when using iMessage, I am getting undeliverable error messages whenever I send an iMessage. This occurs regardless of whether I'm using my iPhone, iPad or MacBook. The thing is, the messages are still going through. The attached screenshot was taken from a friends device who is getting the same messages and obviously receiving them.

Yep, same boat... And while I used to get messages simultaneously on my iPad and iPhone, it seems my iPhone is the only one receiving and it's not syncing convos like it was.
The undeliverable thing is HUGE though and driving my Apple family crazy!!
Any news on when we can expect an update to fix it?

HT4623 after updating, my texts are going through like emails

I just updated my iphone 4S and now my imessages are going through like email in text form. I went into settings, into messages, to the send and recieve i messages and its using my apple id, which is an old email address.

tap on your email and sign out under settings > messages

Group messages are going through as texts instead of imessage

Usually when me and my friends have a group message it's fine, it's all going through iMessage and I've never had a problem but yesterday my messages were failing to send and today it says at the top 'Outgoing' instead of 'Group' like it usually does and also my messages are going through as a text not an iMessage but only on the group message? Help

If you have others that are receiving your imessaging but not the group you are attempting to send to then do this:
Click on your text messaging area using imessaging enabled and then type a message to yourself. Do this test to verify that your imessaging apple server is working properly. IF you get the messsage back to you in BLUE this indicates to you that both the outgoing and incoming text messaging is working as imessaging. With this piece of information verified that will indicate there are connectivity issues with individuals or all that are a part of the group you are attempting to contact. Please do not conclude that at a point in time this communication worked via imessaging that there may be some in the group that are now having conectiviity issues of their own.

TS2755 Receiving "Message Send Failure" notification, but messages are going through?

For the past few days, I have been receiving a "Message Send Failure" after every iMessage that I send. The messages are going through, but I still receive the notification every time. I have restarted my phone, signed out of and back into iMessage, and reset my network settings. Nothing seems to be working. Anyone have a solution? I'm having the same problem on my iPad, which leads me to believe it's a problem with iMessage at large as opposed to a device problem. Thanks!

Cant receive texts on new samsung as all texts are going through to ipad. I cannot disable from my previous iphone as its completely unusable

Please help! I changed to samsung today and all of my texts are going through to my ipad, if I turn off icloud, imessage and facetime on the ipad I just do not receive the texts fullstop! I dont have access to my old phone (iphone 5) as I smashed the screen and completely ruined the phone, how do I stop this from happening?

Contact Applecare, and ask them to assist you in turning off iMessage. After they remove your iMessage registration from their system, SIGN OUT of all other devices that you have that use iMessage. After you have signed out on All the devices, you can sign back in using your Apple ID. Your phone number should no longer be used for imessage.

Texts are going through twice. How can I fix this?

Hello I am getting complaints that my texts are going through to people twice. How can I fix this? I do not get messages twice, only my outgoing (although it only shows once on my phone)

Contact your carrier.
If being done by your iPhone, the outgoing messages would be shown twice on your iPhone.

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars; select the account in question and check your settings. There are two separate settings for mail, incoming mail server for receiving mail, and SMTP for sending mail.
It could be that the mail process is stuck. Before doing as I said above, double-tap the home button to open the multi-tasking list. Locate the mail app and swipe upwards on the app thumbnail to force closed. Then do a reset on the phone, holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone reboots, then open the mail app and see if you receive your mail. If you receive an error message, make note of it and come back.

When I try calling someone it beeps twice and says 'call failed' also when someone tries calling me it does not come through. Also SMS/MMS cannot be sent or recieved. Only mobile internet is working

Restart your phone by holding the power and home button until the Apple logo appears. If that does not solve the issue contact your cell provider so they can resolve the issue.

- Skype version used
- Internet connection used- The text of any error messages, or to confirm the only thing you see is a spinning wheel or circle when you try to send the message (again, instant message or text message?)

Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account and request another email.

I am having problems with my tx messages not going through. some do and some don't

Do you mean after a phone update? Do you mean just at home? Does it happen everywhere? Do you have wifi turned on? If its on and your not connecting just clear out the connections (forget) then reset up the connections and see if that helps. Did you get a Jelly Bean update? Many people have had wifi connections issues because your router is either outdated and not supported with the new os, or it needs a firmware update. Post back with more information.

IMessages not going through

If I am sitting in my office, a majority of iMessages are unable to be delivered, and I have to send them as text messages. I don't quite understand why this problem is happening; when I had my iPhone 4 (until about 3 weeks ago), I never experienced this problem. It's now become an every day occurrence with my new iPhone 5S. I'd appreciate any assistance.

Here to help get your iMessages back running again! This feature will require a reliable data connection. With that being said, is your device connected to Wi-Fi in your office when attempting to send these messages? Have you tried to reboot your phone and try again? Are you having an error sending them to one particular user only or multiple?

IMessages not going through on iPhone 5 iOS 7

My iphone 5 with iOS 7 isn't sending iMessages. Regular text messages go through immediately almost always. I am using the phone at home, at work, places I've been before the iOS 7 update & hadn't had a problem until i updated my phone. Sometimes text messages will come back as an error & i need to resend. With the update, the phone is slower to load web pages as well as the message issue.

Apple recently said it was aware of an issue that several iPhone users have been experiencing with iMessage since upgrading to iOS 7, noting that a fix is being worked on. The Cupertino California company told The Wall Street Journal in a statement that it is aware of an apparent iMessage glitch in which some users’ messages go unsent, unreceived or sent as a text on various iPhone models running iOS 7.
Apple released the following statement regarding the matter:
We are aware of an issue that affects a fraction of a percent of our iMessage users, and we will have a fix available in an upcoming software update. In the meantime, we encourage any users having problems to reference our troubleshooting documents or contact AppleCare to help resolve their issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes impacted users.
That being said, there have been reports of a temporary fix to the issue. Many users claimed the following steps helped for a few hours before the failure messages began reappearing:
Disable iMessage in Settings > Messages,
Reset the iPhone's Network Settings under Settings > General > Reset
Reenable iMessage.
It should be noted that Apple didn’t make the patch rollout timeframe clear, though reports are claiming a third iOS 7 update, dubbed iOS 7.0.3, is set to release next week and may patch the issue.

How can i stop iMessage from sending messages through my email also. I would like them to only go through my phone

In Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, delete your email address(es).
