None of my IPad files appear in the itunes file sharing window. I cannot transfer anything to my PC. Help!
I am unable to tranfer files created in both Keynote and Pages from my IPad to my PC. The 'file sharing' window in itunes remains blank - it doesn't see my Kindle purchases or pdf's either. Can anyone help? Many thnaks.
Files are not shared to iTunes automatically. You have to actually Share them to iTunes. They should then be available in iTunes on your computer when you connect your iPad.

I have MBP 8GB 2012 model, OS X 10.8. iCloud is set up and runing fine. iCal on my MBP works fine, with icloud, on my Mac accounts and also some local accounts setup on our office network. My iPhone also works fine with syncs from the icloud and On My Mac accounts.
However when I open iTunes, open the INFO page, and try to sync just the iCal/selected calendars nothing appears in the window. The window is totally blank, even if I select All Calendars or Selected Calendars, nothing appears.
In our family there is an identical MBP, iphone - both with identical settings, however, the iCal Sync window shows all of the available calendars.It sounds like you set everything up properly. Are your IAPs cleared for sale? Did you upload the screen shots as the final stage in iTunes Connect?

Earlier this morning, I tried to access the iTunes store on my laptop. It seemed to be loading fine, but when the screen loaded up it was different. I could use the search bar to search for the things I wanted to purchase, but I couldn't buy anything. I've tried restarting the laptop, but nothing seems to have helped. Can anyone give me any advice as to what is wrong with it?

I just upgraded my mac book to 10.6.8 and downloaded the new version of itunes. When I try to open it and error message appears saying, "The iTunes Library file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "Music" folder."
I have tried a few things but iTunes closes right after i click okay. Anyone know anything?Look in your Home > Music folder. There should be an iTunes folder there and it should have a number of files and folders including one called library.itl You want to guide iTunes to that file. If you don't see that file or folder then in your next post you will have to be very specific as to what you do see or how you have your iTunes set up because that's where it should be according to default settings.

You've connected the iPad via cable to your computer, and your computer's iTunes is up-to-date ? If it's icon isn't showing then try one of these troubleshooting pages :

If the iPad is disabled then you'll need to reset the iPad back to factory defaults, after which you can restore to your backup -

There is no such thing as an "SG3" or "SG4". Did you possibly mean a 3GS and iPhone4?
It has always been very basic to ensure that a backup exists of your media and other important files. Computers fail, hard drives crashes... things happen. Do you not have a backup? The iPhone, like all iDevices is NOT a backup of your media, but rather a mirror of the content in the iTunes library on your computer.
If your contacts, pics, etc are not on your computer, no backups of the iPhone exist, and they are not on the phone, they are gone.
No one can magically make them re-appear. -

This is incorrect.
The Photos tab is always available when you have your iDevice connected.
First open iPhoto, move the photos you want to get rid of to the trash, then close iPhoto.
No one seems to want to delete the photos from iPhoto/computer.

I'm havin' a problem with my iPod, doesn't appear on the iTunes source list. And I have to update the iPod software cause I need to fix a problem: my iPod seems to be empty when turn it on but in the iPod's hard disk still the mp3 files, I already made a backup of this mp3 files. After waiting 27 minutes while the new iTunes supposedly downloaded onto my computer, the Finder window did not appear, and the iTunes.mpkg icon didn't appear on my desktop (where downloads usually go). I also looked for the new iTunes by clicking on my Hard Drive icon but didn't see it there either. I only see the icon for the old iTunes. What do I do?
The exclamation mark means that the app has lost the link to the actual file.
First step: try and make sure the iPhoto Library is working correctly:
Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always. -
My devices no longer appear on the iTunes sidebar on MPB.

Until the recent updates to OS 10.9.5, iTunes 11.4 and the upgrade to iOS 8.0 for iPhone, iPad etc, iTunes 'knew' that my wife and I had 2x iPhones and 1x iPad set to sync with our MacBook Pro over Wi-Fi. Now, despite all devices still being set to sync over Wi-Fi, only one device is ever shown by iTunes as being found/available. The single device appears to be the one I last connected to the MBP using a cable. I appear to be able to make iTunes 'remember' any of our devices, but only one at a time. Clearly I'm not alone in experiencing this problem! Help please Apple.
