  • None of the users can logon through SAPGUI

    Hi Guru,
I got a question about this situation: none of the users can logon through SAPGUI while system looks fine from sapmmc.
What's the possible reasons of this performance issue?
Please let me know if you have any advices.
    Thanks and Regards,

There can be couple of reason for all the dialog work process to be occupied. Some of the reason are
    1. System has not been configured to handle enough dialog users
    2. Load balancing has not been configured correctly and all users are directed to one app server.
    3. SAPLOGON pad configuration of all user is pointing users only to one app server
    4. RFC user/s are occupying all the work process as no limit has been set in RZ12. This typically happens with transactional
RFC calls.(This is most likely the cause SAP has some good parametrs to limit RFC users from occupying dialog processes)
To your first question about user not been able to login there can be couple of reason
    1. Network issue (If its impacting many users/ Users in one region)
    2. Archive is full
    3. Things I listed above

  • Can I burn to an audio CD album bought online?

I just recently bought a couple of albums, can I burn them on an audio CD to listen to them elsewhere?

Do you want a technical answer or the legal side?
I see you've already been given a technical option so here's the quote from the little book I read on I-Pods.
'It's not illegal to copy as long as obtained legitimately, for your own use, and do not copy to a friends computer or I-Pod.' (shown on page 15).
If your interested the book is called Rough Guide To I-Pods (ISBN No. 1-84353-723-0). Showing as C$13.99.

  • HT1473 I have a ton of songs in my itunes that were burned from cd.  My computer died so I'm using another computer.  The new computer will show all my purchased songs from Itunes, but none of the ones I previously burned from cd

I burned a ton of songs from CD to Itunes and they showed up fine in my library.  I bought a new Ipod at the same time my computer died so I'm now using a totally different computer.  I logged in to my Itunes from this computer and can see every song purchased from Itunes.  What I no longer see are the ones burned from cd.

Does this iPod have the contents of your library? If so see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. Otherwise, depending on the nature of the failure, you may be able to extract the hard drive and recover the media from it. Or you will have to rip your CDs again.
If you'd like access to all your media on any device/computer in future you might consider purchasing a subscription to iTunes Match though personally I just maintain my own backup of my library.

  • My music is backed up on external drive when i disconnect the external drive itunes cannot locate the files on the PC harddrive and none of the music can be accessed how do i fix this?

My harddrive was wiped clean.  I upgraded operating system to fr vista to win 7.  All music was saved on an external hard drive and i have copied this to itunes on new operating system but itunes can not access any of the music without the external drive being connected.  error msg says original files cannot be located.  What to do?

It all depends a bit on how & what you backed up, and how you restored it. Select an affected track. Press CTRL-I to Get Info. Click Cancel when asked to locate the file. Look at the location given on the summary tab. Now look through your computer for file in question. What are the two paths? iTunes could be using the wrong layout (pre or post iTunes 9) in error. Or your library could have been split on the previous system, and not restored to preciesly the same path. Posting back the two paths should make things clearer.

  • Help! i upgraded my itunes to 7.0.2 and I can't burn my mp3's?????

I am having the same problem like many other posts as to burning mp3's on the latest version of itunes.
my itunes was working fine till i downloaded the latest version and i tried to burn some songs that i even downloaded from itunes. i am having 2 major problems:
    (1) when i try to burn a playlist that i purchased from itunes it starts off like it's going to intitalize the burn then a warning pops up stating that 'none of the files can be burned to mp3 cd' then i click on the arrow to see the reason why i can't burn and it states 'itunes store files cannot be burned to an mp3 cd'. this has never happened before i have downloaded music from itunes before and never had this problem.
(2)the second problem i am having is the songs that my itunes will allow me to burn ( mostly transfered from my personal cd's and other downloads) burn in the usual manner but the don't play on my cd player....at all. i am using the correct cd's and my stereo is playing other burned cd's fine. the stereo is not old and i don't have any problem burning other files to cd. i tried everything...i even bought new blank cd's and i'm still having the problem. what is it? and how can i fix it.
please help if anyone has any advice!!!!

No version of iTunes has ever allowed you to burn songs from the iTunes Store to MP3 CD.
I think you need to change your burning setting in Preferences > Advanced > Burning to Audio CD.

  • Can't Burn to a CD

I just tried to burn a new playist (all new songs purchased on iTunes today; using 7) and got an error message:"None of the files can be burned to an MP3 CD. Itunes Store files cannot be burned to a MP3 CD."
What does this mean and how do I resolve it? I'm not a techie; English please!

Store purchases are in protected AAC format & can't undergo a direct format change. What you can do is burn your purchase to an audio CD, that audio CD can be used in the same manner that you would use any CD you might purchase at your local store.

  • Error U44M1I210 - None of the NEW Mac's can install the latest updates Adobe CC is pushing out.

    Here is the problem:
I have 3 new Macs (iMac, MacBookPro, Mac Pro trash can)
All 3 do have adobe CC installed with programs working at the moment.
However with the most recent updates to Premiere, AE, Photoshop and Media Encoder that Adobe CC is pushing out, none of the computers can update to them.
    Receiving Error code U44M1I210
    Here is a system spec:
    For the Mac Pro, OSX 10.9.3 - 64GB Ram - 2.7GHz 12-core Xeon E5
    What I have tried:
I have tried to do the updates from work, over wireless, and wired.
    From Home wireless.
    And from a Hotel wireless.
Older MacPros running CC but limited to CS6 Apps only, DO update over the same network as the Mac's that can not.
    Strange? yes!
Why I think Adobe has made some type of coding mistake with New Apple Products:
All 3 computers could not install these recent updates, but could install CC originally (about a month prior to the updates), and made made other small updates prior to this as well.
The various locations I have tried to connect from have all failed, so I doubt it is a firewall issue.
Adobe's Help line, had took control of my Mac Pro for about 2 hrs and could not figure out why it would not update.
    They uninstalled, reinstalled, the works...
The issues has now been in limbo for a week.
Will I ever be able to make an update to CC on any of my machines?
Since we are paying a lot of money for Adobe's services, and have paid a lot of money for these new computers, that is my question.
    Thanks

    Thanks Jeff,
However when the Adobe tech support person took control of my Mac Pro, this was one of the processes they tried that failed to produce results.
They reviewed the log files as well.
The downloads would fail after they reached 50%.
What does seem to be working for me, at least for Premiere and Media Encoder is manually installing the updates from this site:
All Adobe CC 2014 Updates: The Direct Download Links for Mac OS | ProDesignTools

  • Can you burn Blu-Ray on a standard DVD?

I know Encore won't build a Blu-Ray movie to a DVD disc but I've seen some ppl say you can use the freeware program ImageBurn to burn the Encore build to a standard DVD as long as its small enough to fit.
The reason why I want to do it is make short HD demos of my video work on a standard DVD that can be viewed on a Blu-Ray player. DVD media is a lot cheaper than BR 50 cents vs $10 a disc and I aslo don't own blu-ray burner. For longer videos I can use a Dual Layer DVD for clients who want a HD option.
Some ppl say absolutely no, while other say yes. Someone outlined how to do it but it didn't work for me, although I only used the last part of the instructions to burn because I was using Encore to build folder or iso, while the instructions are intended for ppl ripping a retail Blu-Ray.

I'm filmed my own legit HD content, encoding it as the proper mpeg-2 blu-ray format, authored it in Encore CS3, built a blu-ray folder or iso, and using ImageBurn to wrote it to a standard DVD. All of that worked but when I took it to Best Buy their Blu-Ray player wouldn't recognize the DVD.

For what it's worth, I've been able to burn an ENcore BluRay .iso and then used Imgburn to burn the .iso to a regular DVD and it played on a SONY BDP S300.
Sometimes the firmware in the player has to be updated.

I wasn't able to burn a "folder" to a regular DVD, but only the .iso.
Also this thread where apparently the .iso can be burn to a dual layered DVD.

  • Can not burn a Blu-ray disc

The problem: Can not burn a Blu-ray disc.
I open Premiere Elements 12 and load my project and then go to “publish and share” my project, I select "create Disc – Burn DVD, Blu-ray and AVCHD disc", I select "Blu-ray", the disc location and settings box opens and the “status” setting indicates "Media not present”.  I know the Pioneer Blu-ray BDR-2208 drive works properly because I have already published regular DVDs in it and had no problems.  I thought perhaps it was a problem with the initializing of the disc whether you choose (Mastered) as opposed to (Live File System). Neither works. I tired Phillips BD-R disc & Memorex BD-RE disc, neither works.  The only thing I noticed was the burner location setting is indicating a Pioneer BDR-208M burner rather than a Pioneer BDR-2208 burner. Could this be the problem? Remember that burner will burn regular DVD's.  Does Premiere Elements 12 require some other additional software on my computer to burn a Blu-ray disc?  Also is there a list of compatible Blu-ray burners? BTW I am using Windows 8.1.

Attached is a screenshot of the dialog box that opens up when I place a regular DVD or Blu-ray in my desktop computer.
In order for me to burn a DVD project in premiere elements if I do not initialize the disc with the above procedure I receive a media not present in the settings box of premiere elements.  I assumed I have to do the same thing with a Blu-ray too.  I've tried following this procedure, also tried using the live file system.  Also tried putting a fresh disc in without doing anything to it and always receive the media not present in the status setting.  One suggestion has been that another program is interfering with premiere elements.  I will also go out and purchase some Verbatim BD-RE disc, whether they work right now or not I can always use them later after I solve my problem.
I Have a lot of great suggestions from you guys and I really appreciate it.  I'm going to work on some of those today starting with loading imgburn and see if I can indeed burn a Blu-ray disc with my system.  I have already created a AVCHD BDMV file on my computer and I will start with trying to work with that and see if that is successful and then come back to premiere elements.  I appreciate the input regarding Cyberlink software.  I have version 8 (came with my Pioneer Blu-ray Drive) and was thinking about upgrading to the latest version but with your input regarding Power Producer I will save my money.
Another thought I had, with Blu-ray disc burners being as cheap as they are purchase one that has been proven to work with premiere elements 12.1.  Time is money, the cost of a new Blu-ray burner is insignificant.  I will consider this option later.

  • Can't burn CD even with Toast

Ok, I tried all of the suggestions and still couldn't burn an audio CD, so I went ahead and purchased Toast 9. Still can't burn CDs. Is my only option to get an external CD so my husband can burn CDs of the music purchased from iTunes to play in his car? If so, which CD burner should I buy?
    Barbara

Barbara, Toast cannot burn iTunes Music Store downloads because only iTunes has the right to remove the copy protection when burning an audio CD.
You say your Mac Pro cannot burn CDs after upgrading to OS 10.5. I believe this means you need to reinstall the OS (using archive and install). I once received a new Mac directly from Apple that couldn't burn discs. When I reinstalled the OS the disc burning worked. I don't know if your situation is similar to what I experienced, but it sounds like something didn't install properly.
If you want to try alternatives to reinstalling the OS you can download and apply the latest Combined System Update on top of your existing install (i.e. install the 10.5.2 combined update on your existing 10.5.2). You also could run Disk Warrior if you have it.
As for external drives the ones sold by LaCie are excellent with Macs. Get a Firewire one.
To burn audio CDs with iTunes go to iTunes Preferences, choose the Advanced tab, click burning and choose Audio CD as the format. You then can burn playlists to disc (assuming your OS is letting you burn discs).

  • New version of iTunes will not allow me to burn audiobooks to audio CDs

i just pruchased an audiobook from iTunes. as i've always done in the past, i went to burn an audio CD to back it up. i have did this with Diamond's 'Collapse' and was signaled that it would take multiple audio CDs. no problem. when i went to burn this new audiobook, i was given a warning that sometracks could not be burned to a single audio CD. no kidding? i clicked 'OK' and then was prompted that the tracks would not fit on one audio CD, but would require multiple discs, just as it had always been. no problem. so, i clicked 'OK' and waited, and waited, and waited... you get the picture. nothing happened. i tried it several times. same result. so, i can't burn my new purchase to an audio CD with the newest verion of iTunes. this is irritating because now i can't burn it to audio discs in order to listen to it in my car. why is this not working? i've also had issues with other aspects of the new version, but this is the most immediate problem. my last question went unanswered, so PLEASE someone help me out here since you can't go to iTunes for any help. thanks in advance for any assistance.
      Windows XP

I think I've discovered what the new iTunes lets you do. You need to drag and drop a new playlist into the iPod. After about 10 tries at this, and 2 forced quits of iTunes as the screen froze, I finally saw my playlist listed under the iPod contents and the synching began. Then the iMac told me that synching was impossible as it couldn't find the device. No iPod connected! So now iMac shows no iPod attached, but iPod thinks its still synching. I'll leave it for an hour and see what happens.

  • Is it legal to convert the music files, which I have purchased in recent months, to the mp3 format and burn them on to a CD so that they can be played on non-apple music devices that do not support the M4A format?

  • Is it legal to convert the music files, which I have purchased in recent months, to the mp3 format and burn them on to a CD so that they can be played in non-apple music devices that dont support the M4A format?

Is it legal to convert the music files, which I have purchased in recent months, to the mp3 format and burn them on to a CD so that they can be played in non-apple music devices that dont support the M4A format?

Yes, of course it is legal.
To convert the format, follow one of these documents:
iTunes 11 for Windows: Save a copy of a song in a new file format
iTunes 11 for Mac: Save a copy of a song in a new file format
Also note that you have the option of buying your files in MP3 format in the first place, from Amazon MP3 or other online retailers.  MP3 files will work in iTunes as well as virtually every other player, program, and device.

  • How can I burn music from my iTunes library to CD, while still keeping the track info intact?

I made several CDs for a friend, but when my friend imported the disc into iTunes none of the track names showed up (it just said "Track 1", "Track 2", etc.) This is annoying because it was 8 CDs worth of music (over 150 songs!)
Is there a software or any tool I can use that will allow me to burn music for friends, while still keeping the track info intact?
