fr using opera mini wth NOP u shud dnwload opera mini ver. 2. In this it wil firstly starts dning cnectin testing....Bt u can cancel it.....Then entr into it....Where u got settings option->network.Nw mark on proxy and fil it by asking with airtel cc....It wil be lyk 100.1.200.99 and 8080.And finaly ur prob....Solved....Operamini 2 is very gud as compared to operamini 4beta....If u need link for that then u can PM me....And yaaa dnt forgot to say thanks

Nokia 208 problems with Opera Mini

I have a Nokia 208 (Single SIM) and I can not install Opera Mini on him. The application is downloaded but not installed. When I want to install the application, it shows me: "Installing ..." and remains locked so. And after some time it says: "Unable to connect to the internet. Please chech your settings". I tried several versions of Opera Mini and same problem. I downloaded from Nokia Store and m.opera.com site, etc., and the same problem. Other applications on the phone I saw that it works. And I can surf the internet, the problem is only with Opera Mini. Internet provider is Vodafone Romania. So how can I solve this problem? Or Nokia 208 (Single SIM) is not compatible with Opera Mini? We have several reports of this issue. In one case, it was solved by creating the configuration settings manually which made sure both the Access Point and the Web account are configured correctly. Your description only tells us, the Web configuration is OK.
To solve this issue finally, I would like to go this path again first:
Nokia » Menu » Settings » Configuration » Personal » New » Access Point » Access Point settings » Bearer settings » Mobile data access point (APN) » internet.vodafone.ro
Nokia » Menu » Settings » Configuration » Activate » Access Point » My access point

1- How can I watch online videos (like google videos) with opera mini browser?
2- It's possible to set Opera Mini as the defaut browser, instead of Nokia's browser, when you open links?

Sorry , but NO and NO. You can use Opera mobile as default browser, but it only opens attachments and links in mail, everything else reverts to native browser. Best way to watch Youtube is to download the YouTube app from Google mobile.

Unfortunately Opera does not support Flash. You can use Skyfire to view video, but as a browser it's very laggy !

Nokia 6303 classic issue with opera mini

I just bought Nokia 6303 classic and contacted my provider for enabling gprs on the phone, and I received and installed the configuration by sms. While these settings work just fine with the phone's browser, Opera Mini and all other apps can't connect to the internet. What should I do to fix this?

Problem with Opera mini

Hi,
I have installed opera mini on my Nokia E61. So far I´m content with it, it´s working well. However, when I visit the website clevertanken.de (a site for viewing current gasoline prices), I´m stuck - it seems that an advertisement popup opens when I click on the site and I can´t close it, so I´m stuck on that popup and when I don´t want to go where it wants to link, there´s no way to go on...
How can I turn that off?

thanks for helping! Unfortunately, it doesn´t work yet - when I check "mobile view", it all looks a bit different, but when I click on one of the buttons ("Umkreissuche"), there is the popup again (some insurance comparison stuffy thingy) and I´m stuck. I´m using vrs. 4.2.14912 - I downloaded the thing from the website and that´s what I got. It´s not old. Have they recently upgraded? If so, I would get the most current version asap.

Trouble wih viewing file on media card/downloaded with Opera Mini 5

Hello all,
I downloaded Opera Mini 5 beta recently and was downloading a .pdf file. It allowed me to choose a specific folder to where I can download the file to (which is really neat). So I chose to download it to my media card. I tried opening it from the download manager of Opera Mini, but there's no such option. So I went on to "explore" it through "Media" and I found it. When I tried to open the file, it tells me that it is "Unable to display file (file name)". Am I doing anything wrong or what's going on? Opera Mini problem or my problem? The file works perfectly fine though because I tried emailing the file to myself and opening it on my blackberry, and it works.
Anyone knows what's going on?

Natively, PDFs are only viewable for the time that they remain an attachment to an email; the email Attachment Service renders them. Once detached (or otherwise not an email attachment), you need an add-on app to view the file. There are several out there...search the alternatives and choose the one that best meets your needs.

Not able to browse with opera mini on my nokia 513...

i've not be able to use my nokia 5130 to browse via opera mini for free unless i hv money on it. pls does anyone has the setting? hw will configure my phone to browse for free. pls i need help

Your phone doesn't have wifi so, if you want to access to the internet, you will have to use gprs. Contact your network operator to learn for charges.

Unable to browse with opera mini in my nokia 5310

I am a new user.
Pls, i have been unable to launch the Opera mini browser in my Nokia 5310.
Any time i launch the browser,"failed to connect to the internet" is displayed.
Can anyone help?

If I remember correctly, Opera Mini does a connectivity test when first launched. What about that? Did you have it done?
You could also try to reinstall (unistall and install) the software.

Unable to use Opera Mini with nokia 5310

I can browse with the phone's browser, but when I try to connect using opera mini, i get a message stating unable to connect to my network. Is it that the phone is incompatible with opera mini? It did come pre-loaded on the phone.
I noticed that I get the same problem when using Yahoo Go, another pre-installed program.

Do you have your network operator's (service provider's, carrier's) Internet access point settings defined on your phone? The built-in browser might be using WAP, and Opera Mini and Yahoo! Go might be requiring full Internet access.

Opera Mini problem with Nokia 3120

I have a Nokia 3120 Clasic that came with Opera Mini included. I activated internet on my phone, works just fine with the mobile browser, but with Opera Mini doesn't work, it seems that can't detect a connection.
I instaled another browser, UCWEB 6, and still nothing.
I don't know what to do so I can use the internet with another browser. Can anybody help me?

Opera Mini problem with E72

Hi all..
This is my first post here.
I can't use Opera mini web browser at all! It loads and finally throws up the following error:
"Failed to connect to the Internet."
It's frustrating coz I was (am) able to use Opera mini without any glitch on N73..

I have the same issue too, both with opera mini and opera 10. Not able to connect using wifi connects.
I have already updated the nokia software to 051.18
what I think the main issue is related with JAVA. As I am also not able to connect / use other JAVA related applications as well on my set. Like ebuddy, nokia chat and mobi cast (cricinfo mobile application ).
The error msg when I try to connect with ebuddy: "Your internet settings must be activated for JAVA APPLICATION or try again later". This is the default error msg which comes again n again every time.
I did chk the java setting ---> Menu --> Internet ----> Web ---> Options ---> Settings ----> General ---->
Is there a solution for this? Can some one help me to sort out this issue? Please.

Muse/business catalyst: opera mini / opera mobile gets stuck in desktop view

After visiting a muse site and switching to desktop view, Opera Mini continues to serve it up even when reverting the original URL:
1. Create a site site.com with a mobile and desktop view.
2. Provide link to get from mobile to desktop.
3. Open site with opera mini. The mobile view loads.
4. Click the link to get to the desktop view. Muse redirects to something like site.com/phone/index.html?devicelock=phone
5. Put in the URL for the original site, eg. site.com.
6. Now, when you go to site.com, the URL resolves to the desktop site. Incorrectly.
7. Try clearing the history and cache in opera mini -> same result.
8. Go to explicit link to phone site. Then go back to base URL site.com. Still resolves incorrectly to desktop site.
It appears Muse is not supporting opera mini / mobile responsively, please advise.

That's not quite correct. Please see step #8 above. Even if I follow a "go to phone site" link with a "devicelock=phone" parameter, it may take me to the phone site, but default navigation remains stuck on desktop, when I put in the site URL. If your understanding of the design is what you described, then the actual behavior is not in alignment. I would appreciate you passing that on to the engineers.
Even with the design you describe, there is a problem considering the following use case:
1. User views phone site on their flip phone.
2. User attempts to load desktop site. Site loads, but is not viewable on mobile device.
3. User wants to revert to phone site and does not have ability to click a link, so they go back to the referring page or e-mail which contains ... the original site URL.
After the user clicks desktop link, the site is lost to them, unless they can figure out how to (and agree to) kill all their cookies.

Opera mini crashes when scrolling

The only Opera Mini crash that I've seen was one that reported an "Out of Memory" error just before it exited.
I had left the Web Browser open (used it to find and load Opera Mini) and had forgotten to close it.
Since then I've had no problems with it, but then I mainly use it for RSS feeds as it is friendlier than the Web Browser's RSS feed reader.

Opera Mini [Unsolved Problem] - It's getting on ne...

I have a problem installing Opera mini 4.2, Opera mini 5.1 and Opera mini 5.2 on N97 and I have no idea what's the reason. I am able to access all other web pages through "WLan" and "Service provide internet data pakage" but I have no idea about the problem with Opera mini.
Worthy to mention, I am able to run Opera mobile 10 on my mobile. But what exactly is the reason for Opera mini's to remain unconnected ?
"Rresource download failed" is the message I get every time I try to run Opera mini. I have successfully installed Firmware 2.1 and hard reset my phone, bu this problem is still persisting.
Any solution ?

Nokia 6267 and Opera mini

I buy Nokia 6267 very good phone. For default i have installed Opera mini version nokia_s40_3 all v.2.0.7346, 20070402. I receive automatic settings from my operator (Globul) on Bulgaria for wap via GPRS and with Nokia application for browsing the net i have not problems - opening wap site and etc, but when I try to go to web sie with Opera mini I receive error of connection. How to set-up Opera mini for opening web?
I have this problem and other java apps used net.
