No. The country and the App store are totally related. If that App is not in the French store then you must wait until it is.

3 days to activate app store card??

This afternoon I bought a £15 app store card from Homebase.
When I got home I tried to redeem it and was told that the card had not been activated.
Speaking to Homebase I was told that it can take upto 3 days for cards to be activated and it stated this on the back of the card.
I've checked the card and there is no mention of 3 days and I can't find any mention of it anywhere on the Apple website or indeed the internet in general.
Every other card I have bought has been activated instantly and I just feel I have been given the brush off by Homebase.
I guess i'm just after someone to confirm or deny this 3 day activation period. I dont particuarly want to wait 3 days just for it not to be activated because there was another issue that I coould have fixed straight away.
Any insight would be much appriciated.

I've never heard of a 3 day timescale. Did Homebase have another go at activating it ? Trying to Decide between Amazon Prime Store Card vs Discover It

Hey guys, I plan on making a large purchase on Amazon soon (and of course the holidays will be here before we know it.) - so either of these two cards would be beneficial for me with their 5% offers. The Discover It's Double Cash promotion is tempting, but I'm not sure I would be approved. I have 3-4 inquiries on each bureau from earlier this year. My scores are below in my sig. I have old baddies, but most fall off next year. I think I'd have a better chance at the Amazon Prime Store card by Synchrony. I've been getting mailers from Walmart (by Synchrony) pretty often - and they pull Transunion, which is my highest score at the moment... but of course the Discover is a "better" card, esp with the double cash promotion. My only other question is if I should wait until my new limit with Capital One hits the bureaus before I apply for either. I combined two of my cards, so I now have an 8k limit - the highest I have on my own. But then again, the new app (and the other card being closed) might knock my scores down when they hit - so it might be a double edged sword. I'll have a new Venture One reporting also - only a 3k limit. I'd love any advice! I was also tossing around the idea of apping for a Venture simply to see if I could get a higher limit/my first Visa Sig card - but I'm not sure it'd be worth it. I'm happy with my existing limits, but would love the Visa Sig benefits that I could actually make use of. I plan to garden for two full years after this, so then again maybe it might be worth the try since the inquiries would fade by then. Decisions, decisions.

Since U stated either card would be beneficial, I dont really see much of a dilemma/downside (as long as U dont go in anticipating a certain limit). Neither one is necessarily better than the other - it really depends on which is going to be more advantageous. Discover is the more flexible of the two but again this depends upon spending habits. Also waiting for other cards to report b4 app'ing isnt going to give U anymore of an advantage in that regard and since your scores are fine you're good to app sooner than later. And if U can find a way to make Wally work for U I'd pull the trigger on that too since its a card that can def grow with U quickly (totally up to U however). If you have been charged twice for a purchase, go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
As to the second part of your query, transfer of a credit balance from one iTunes Store account to another one is not possible.

How do I download an app that is over 50mb via itunes on my computer with a app store card that has already been redeemed

I was trying to download plants vs zombies on my iphone but it wouldnt let me saying that the app was over 50mb and that you needed to install it using itunes on your computer. So I tried to do the same thing on my computer by using my app store card to cover the purchase but as the code had already been redeemed it wouldnt let me. Can I get the app using my already reddemed app store card or is that not possible? I will be very grateful for any suggestions or help!

If you have already purchased it on your iphone, and it simply wasn't able to download, then open itunes on your computer and click Store>Check for Available Downloads

I do NOT like using my credit card if I don't have to, and I went out of my way to go buy an Apple gift card, which I successfully redeemed into my Apple account. However, when I use the Apple "Cards" app, it will not let me use anything other than my credit card. I tried purchasing a card, hopefulling it would come out of my Apple store balance, but no such luck -- it came out of my credit card.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Apple stores generally stock Apple Store gift cards (Apple Store cards can only be used to buy from Apple stores and their online store, they can't be used with iTunes) - you could try phoning your local store and see if they have them in, or if it's not too far call in to the store.
