Normal stock to order stock.

Hi frnds,
We create Purchase orders against the sales orders , in the Purchase order we assign Account Assignment Category  ( E ) in the Purchase order , so that while we receive the material the stock will be lying against that particular orders.
Recently we have made some purchase orders , where by mistake i have not assigned the Account Assignment Category (E)  ,and now the GRN has happend against that P.O and even the invoice is been booked , the stock has come to our stock but it doest not lie against that order stock , because of that i am not able to issue the material against that order.
Do we have a Special movement where i can move the stock from normal stock to that order stock
I have tried 311 E and 309 E movement types but its not working -- Is there any other solution for this.
Regards
Rakesh

Try Mov Typ :  412 E-Transfer posting sales order to own - reversal     .
As 411 E  , is  to  Transfer  from sales order  stock to unrestricted stock , 412 E  should  work  in your  case.

  • Make to Stock - Sales order stock allocation

    Hello Experts,
In the make to stock scenario, how do I allocate certain stock to a sales Order? For example, with my company, there could be 30 items in a sales order. All item stocks are not available at the time of Order placed. As we make the stock, we want the stock to be allocated to this sales order. Is there any way to do that?
    Please help.
    Thanks

    Hi,
As my understanding, there is no such assignment function to MTS sales order in standard SAP.. The possible solutions I ve touched include..
1, 'convert' MTS to MTO.. It requires that you can change the item category in sales order.. Once stock for one item is fulfilled.. Change the item category in sales order from MTS to MTO and move the corresponding stock from normal stock to sales order stock via 413..
    2. Rely on the SD ATP logic..if your product categories are not so many.. The tipical ATP configration is that for sales order, the ATP scope includes stock, production order, purchase order..etc and ATP checking scope for DN is only against on-hand stock.. ATP checking and/or rescheduling for Sales orders gives out a sequency of confirmed delivery date, meaning, all the sales orders are queued for deliverying in system based on the ATP status.. DNs need to be created strictly according to the confirmed delivery date in sales order.. This way actually raises a very high management requirement to business..
3.If you use batch management, you can also consider 'batch determination' for this assignment..
4,In one of my previous project, they use 'consignment process' for such MTS assignment.. Such assignment business in that client is not a normal process and it is only applicable for some VIP customers.. If the stock is not enough to fulfill all the demand in the sales order, they create a special consignment fill-up order to 'delivery the goods on hand to customer consignment stock', while warehouse places special label on these goods when they 'PGI' the consignment fill up delivery.. This way ensures that the goods can not be withdrawed by other Sales order and/or reservations..

  • Cost of Inventory for Special Stock- (Sales Order Stock)

    Dear All,
We manufactures "x" materail under Make to Stock and Make to Order Scenarios. We carried the standard cost estimate through CK11N and released through CK24N. There is a value of "X". Also we carried the sales order cost estimate that is value "Y". But we have observed the inventory value updated during confirmation of the production is at "Z" value. We have identified this Z value is the value of special stock previous periods.
I would like to know the procedure of valuation of inventory under scenarios

    Hi,
    thanks for your info.
Can i say the changes will be done for those special stock.?
Actually my problem is related to a Return Sales order process where we need to change the MAP before DO and GI, otherwise the Material document would not capture the correct MAP during GI.
and the solution from the senior is select the variance "special stock -Sales order" and enter the sales doc# in MR21.
The problem that we are not yet having any special stock for this return Sales order, but this MR21 works for us and after that, the material document is able to capture the correct MAP.
Any idea what or where the MR21 is updating for the "Special Stock-Sales order" if we don't have any Sales order stock for the paticular sales document?

  • Stock transport order /stock in transit

    Hello
For a stock Transport order scenario { Recieving Plant , Delivering plant } , the documented procedure is:-
    1) stock transport order>Goods issue by delivering plant--
    >stock in transit(valuated)   -- >Unrestricted/inquality/blocked/consumption
just sticking to the above method, how many Material documents & accounting  documents would be generated ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
It depends on your setting, whether you go for 2-step Stock Transport or 1-step.
If It is 1-step then 1 material document and 1 accounting document.
This material document will be of movement type 647 and stock will not come in transit, stock will directly get moved from Supplying Plant to Receiving Plant.
And if it is 2-step then 2 material documents and 1 accounting document.
1 material document for GI from Supplying Plant to Stock in Transit (Movement Type - 641), and another from stock in transit to receiving plant (Movement Type - 101).
And it will update PO History in both the cases.
You can config. this in SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Setup Stock Transport order > Assign Document Type, One-Step Procedure, Underdelivery Tolerance > here activate "One-step" indicator if you want 1-step otherwise keep blank for 2-step.

  • Stock Transfer Order (Stock in Transit)

Dear Friends, Need your opinion on following issue:-
Currently, Stock Transport Order with DelOrdTyp: UB with ItCtg: U and      Delivery type in SD: NL is in place.
Plant P orders there material A which is assigned to plant G --> sales order creates stock transfer requisition --> this is converted into stock transfer PO --> movement 641 for GI from plant G with reference to STO --> GR using movement 101 in plant P
The problem is that when making GI with mvt. 641 the postings are directly from stock account P Dr to stock account G Cr and there are no postings at all when GR with mvt. 101.
I know it is how it works but this is not what we require. Reason:
u2022     Long time span (5-7 Days) between leaving Plant G and arriving at Plant P.
u2022     Need to control when goods leave plant G but not received at plant P.
How to do customization of G/L: Stock in transit..?
    Many thanks in advance...!!

  • Make to order stock delivery issue

    hi sap guys
i m creating delivery for make to order stock, when after creating order i try to do vl01n it gives error that * No deliveryrelated items ,no shedule lines due for given date
and  in sales order when i check shedule line  it shows confirm quanty 0 .
so plse help- wht could be the reason for this
is there any settings or different item category
    points will be rewarded

First create an order and save. As it is an Make-to-order item, a Assembly order is generated from the Sales order, which you can find in the Schedule line of item > "Procurement" .
Click on the" procurement" button below the screen, there you will find a Assembly order no.
Presently ,you do not have stock of the MTO material. Once it is assembled, you will receive into your stock against this assembly order.
So, receive the stock in your plant.
Now if you will check the availability, you will find stock is available under "Sales order stock".
You can go for Picking & then PGI.
After PGI, the MTO stock (Sales order stock) is finished, beacuse we do not produce extra as it can not be supplied to other customer.

  • 'Sales order stock' has to hit inventory account at GR

I'm facing the completion of the following scenario:
    . sales order to customer
. sales order item generates purchase requisition, which is converted into a purchase order
. goods are received in our stock, 'sales order stock'
. vendor invoice is posted to the purchase order
. delivery is created, goods issue is posted
    . customer is billed.
The guy before me configured the whole thing and left, I have to complete it. From a logistical point of view it works fine: it all goes via 'sales order stock'. However from a financial point of view there are some things incorrect:
. the GR does not post against the regular inventory stock account (in the account assignment of the purchase order there is a GL account and the related sales order line item)
. the PGI does have any financial posting at all
What I have to establish is:
. with GR, material goes into sales order stock with regular financial posting (debit inventory, credit GR/IR)
.with PGI, material goes out of sales order stock, with financial posting: credit inventory, debit intermediate account (in the billing document the intermediate account is credited and the COGS account is debited).
Again from a logistical point of view it all looks okay, the financial side is bothering me . . .
    Who can help me out?
    thx
    Ben

Further to my last message. What item category are you using.
TAS is for third party, which works as I described. The GR does not post into sales order stock, but direct to cost of sales.
If you use TAB, then this is individual purchase order. In this case the GR should post to valuated sales order stock, as you expected. If you have other custom item category, then it depends on the configuration of that item category. You could compare it to the SAP standards TAB/TAS. You could also try to test in your test system using the SAP standard item categories. Also if you use material valuation with standard price, make sure the material has a price, or you will not get any posting.

  • AFS Stock Transport Order "E" stock

    Hello guy
does anyone know if it's possible to manage stock transport order between storage location with "E" stock (sales order stock) ?

    Hi,
As per SAP Note 520411 and 22082, it is not possible transfer a sales order stock from one plant to another plant (movement types 301 to 306 for special stock 'E') in Standard SAP.

  • Difference between Sales Order and Stock Transfer Order(STO)

    Hi Gurus,
What exactly is a diference between Sales Order and STO?
    Thanks and Regards
    Rohit

    Hi,
    Sales Order Stock
Sales Order Stock are stock with Special Stock type E. It can fall into the usual stock categories such as unrestricted, blocked etc. but "belongs" to a sales order.  For example, you create a sales order for a part and assign a sales item category that generates an individual requisition, the requirement has an account assignment linking it to the sales order schedule line, you convert that requisition to a Purchase Order.
When you receive the Purchase Order, the stock is placed in sales order stock. It will show against the sales order/sales order line. It can only be delivered against that sales order line. Any availability check etc for that material on any other sales order will not take it into account as it is not available except to the sales order line the stock is assigned to.
    Stock Transfer Order
the cross company Stock Transport Orders can be done by:
    - Configure using transaction OMGN
    - Depending upon the sending and receiving plants, maintain sales organization and customer data in customizing.
    - Maintain the supplying plant as a vendor and attach the plant to the vendor in the Vendor Master.
    - Material type has to be HALB or HAWA.
    - Ensure that the company with sales Organization has a plant to take care of stocking.
    - The PO used is NB and not Stock Transfer PO.
Configure SD for inter-company billing to enable picking up the pricing procedure for billing.
    - Carry Out delivery through process delivery due list and billing through process billing due list.
Otherwise, You need  to configure your Stock Transport Order settings for your Cross-Company:
    Business Transaction to work.
    1. Customer No. for the Goods Receiving Plant - OMGN
    2. Availability Check- Checking Rule (if necessary) - OMGN
    3. Assign a Delivery Type for the Delivering Plant - OMGN (for Stock Transport Orders, NLCC)
    4. PO type (which i belive you have done) - OMGN
    5. Assign Vendor No. to the Supplying Plant (done) - VK02
    6. Assign Customer No. to the Purchasing Plant for the Inter-Compnay Invoice (but you need to assign this to the Sales Organization pre-assigned to the Purchasing Plant),
IMG-SD-Billing-InterCompany Billing-Define Internal Customer No. by Sales Org
***and by the way for the Invoice to work between Cross-Compnay Plants, you need also to have a Sales Org for the Supplying Plant and a Pricing Determination Procedure.

  • Release order for a stock transfer order in Product view

    Hi Experts
My question is that i cann't see Release order for a stock transfer order in Product view which are available in MD04 in R/3.
I have checked all the settings for Strategy group 50-Planning without final assembly in R/3 and Requirement type in APO. In APO I have checked requirement type and category group and I can see that in category we have defined Stock Transport Requisition, Stock Transport order,  Sales Order, TLB:VMI sales order, Replenishment delivery and VMI delivery as category.
One more thing i am not even selecting any selection profile for Product view.
What i need to check, Kindly suggest.
    Regards
    G C

    Hi G.C
Check whether you have maintained correct integration model. Create integration model for transactional data. Select the sales order and PO/PR option in CFM1. The reason you need to send the sales order first when you are working with stock transfer order/stock transfer scheduling agreements you first have to send the sales order and then PO/PR. Activate the integrtion model.
First check in ECC for the Integration with Other mySAP.com Components==>Advanced Planning and Optimization==>Initial Data Transfer==>Change Transfer==>Change Transfer for Transaction Data==>Activate Online Transfer Using BTE==> here check (ND-APO, NDI options are have been checked)
Also check for the Maintenance of distribution definiton under APO -SPRO==>Integration with SAP Components==>Basic settings for data transfer==>Publication==>Maintain distribution definiton==>Select the publication type(External procurement, Delivery,Shipment) and assign to all the plants you are working with for STO.
Try the above steps and do let me know if it worked.

  • Stock trsp of normal stock to sales order stock

    Dear colleagues,
I have been working with stock transport of sales order stock before and it worked - I have no issues with it. But this time my client needs to transport normal stock in one plant to sales order stock in another plant. FYI, this is a cross-company STO, i.e. item category "standard" in the PO.
I thought it was the requirements class in the "Transfer of requirements" function that controled which stock my STO was going to consume, but I am unsure now. I checked the requirement class that SAP assigned to my STO delivery of sales order stock (the one that works - SO stock to SO stock) and it is 041, i.e. the very standard reqmt class that has nothing to do with sales order stock! So how does SAP determines it is the sales order stock that I want to transport?
The IMG notes for the setting "Determination Of Requirement Types Using Transaction" imply that there can be special rules implied for special stocks:
    Example
There are business transactions, such as consignment stock processing, in which the material with its planning characteristics is not important, rather the transaction itself. An issue from the customer's consignment stock should not trigger an availability check against planning at the plant as layed down by the planning strategy but rather against special stock.
How does it work for special stock then?
    TIA for any hints!
    Raf
Edited by: Rafael Zaragatzky on Feb 23, 2011 8:31 AM

    Thank you, Joshua.
Yes, it works with M - SO stock is moved from plant to plant. But we need to move normal stock in the source plant to SO stock in the destination plant. Therefore I wonder what is it that tells SAP to do GI from sales order stock. Is it just that the AA category defines the sp. stock indicator both for the issuing plant and the receiving plant? In such case, we are stuck.
But the comment in the IMG documentation that I cited first implies that there might be other thing that controls the special stock on the delivering plant side.

  • Sales order stock to normal stock, Billing in each stage of production

    Dear experts,
    Business process:
In our client will process the goods in 3 stages. Finished good of on process is raw material of another process and sales order based production is going on in my client. Each stage of production required to bill to the customer. But we cannot deliver the goods to the customer and used internally in another stage of process.
    Problem:
    1.     At the time of good receipt in MB31 the finished good going to the sales order stock(Because of sales order production).  How to convert the sales order stock in to normal stock or How to stop it?
    2.     Process 1 stage SFG (7903-valution class) is issued to the 2 stage raw material. At that time all GBB-VBR setting had did it for consumption. In cost sheets and product costing I mentioned in those account. But error is visible in CO02 (production release) goto-cost-itemization. How to solve this problem?
    3.     How to generate the bill in each stage to the customer?
    4.     In last stage how to give the delivery?
Thanks in advance for helping me.

    Hi
If I understand you, you want to create SD invoices to your customer en each step. You can control each step by MM movements. So, you can populate customer tables (z-tables), for instance, with badi MB_DOCUMENT_BADI for instance and after, in the steps where the materials go on being raw materials (without delivery) you can try to create credit notes with a BAPI using the information in this z-tables and after invoice them. When you are in the last step, use the standard procedure (SO, delivery and invoice).
    I hope this helps you
    Regards
    Eduardo
