Norton IS & Adobe Flash not compatible with FF5. Why release new version without compatability?
JEEZ! Your own feedback site doesn't work.
Norton & Adobe Flash are not working with Firefox 5. Yes, I selected "Other Browsers". Before you release a new version, please be sure essentials are compatible. It's a major pain to lose access to these.

You won't get any response from Apple when you submit feedback, and in any case Apple almost never explains the rationale behind their decisions. All you can do is provide your comments to them.

Is adobe flash player compatible with ios7?
I have heard that adobe is not compatible with ios7 and therefore one cannot open ecards on an ipad or iphone. Is this true and if so how does one get around this problem?
Thanx for your advice. I recently sent ecards from my imac via care2.com/ecards to family members in USA and Australia who all have ios enabled devices and were therefore unable to open the ecards. I don't own an ipad or iphone and was unaware that ios is not adobe flash compatible.
What I found surprising though is that one relative could not open the ecard on a mac book air but I don't know what browser he uses. I just assumed that all browsers are flash compatible. Thanx again. -
Is adobe creative not compatible with linux ?
Is adobe creative not compatible with linux ?
Windows Server 2012 is not an officially supported OS but it might work.
For reference each application has a Tech Spec link on its product page. From the Creative Cloud Apps page at https://creative.adobe.com/apps click on the Learn More link to go to the product page and you will see the Tech Spec link in the top menu.
There is a free 30 day trial for the applications. You can try them out on a Windows Server 2012 machine and see if they work to your satisfaction. -
Adobe is not Compatible with Vista? or not compatible with 64bit Vista?
From reading through some of the threads here, I am still a
bit confused. Is Captivate 4 not compatible with Windows Vista at
all? Or just not supposedly compatible with 64bit Vista?
Has anyone tried to do a software simulation recording of the
start button, or start menu, or any control panel windows? It
doesn't register a click at all! It will not record a frame!
This is rediculous Adobe. You had, what... 2 years almost? to
develop Captivate 4? And you can't even make it Vista compaitble?
I suppose you'll drop Captivate 5 in 6 months and make
everyone pay $400 for an upgrade just so they can record anything
in Vista? This had better be a high priority update. As it stands
right now, I have to do full motion recording. If I want to do
that, I will use Camtasia!!!
Please give me an answer or a workaround.... Someone..
Anyone.
I am using 64bit and it works fine if recording within an IE
window. All editing, recording, etc functions work fine. I have
tried to do this on a 32 bit version as well with no luck
(recording start menu / button/ control panel windows/etc)
Thank you.> The problem somehow lies in the system windows. I always
run captivate "as
> administrator". As soon as a system window is up (IE -
"control panel"
> "display
> properties" "computer properties" etc) it will fail to
record a capture
> upon
> mouse click. Same with the start menu and taskbar.
>
> Test for yourself. This used to work in WIndows XP..
What changed??
>
Captivate 3 and 4 work fine on 32-bit Vista. Neither is fully
compatible
with 64-bit Vista, so far as I know, but you should be able
to get results
by running in 32-bit compatibility mode.

When Firefox 4 was proposed, I immediately checked the system requirements for Mac user:
"MacOS 5
MacOS 6"
So I downloaded it, since my OS is 10.5.8 (PPC), I thought I was fine. When downloaded, the Firefox icon showed a Stop sign in the middle: maybe a new logo? But when trying to open it, a window popped up saying this version was not compatible with my system. Therefore, using Time Machine, I reverted back to Firefox 3.6.16.
If this is the case, you should absolutely warn '''PPC''' users not to download Firefox 4. Your version is probably for '''Intel''' versions.
Unless you come up with a fix, I won't be able to use Firefox 4 until I change computers, having updated my system to the last possible upgrade.Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox
If you prefer, you can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html -
Since my update I am no longer able to scroll between the footnotes. I have to klick on each one to change something. That is unbearable since I have to write a lot of academic texts which usally have a ton of different footnotes. I also can not copy some of my old texts into the new version without losing the footnotes or having them in the middle of my text. Does anyone know a trick or if apple will change that for good? Thx for any support - it really drives me crazy
Isn't that you asking how to get it (undefined) back?
If you never had Pages '09, you can buy it from Amazon very cheaply:

Adobe Flash not working with Windows 8
I recently updated from Windows 7 to Windows 8. When I open up the app for Internet Explorer in Windows 8, it tells me that I have Adobe Flash Player installed, but if I try to see a video on YouTube, it tells me that I have to install Adobe Flash Player!!! If I go to Amazon Cloud Player, it tells me that I have to install Adobe Flash Player to upload any files to my cloud. All this while still using the app for Internet Explorer in Windows 8. (As I mentioned, I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed version 11. something - I can't reember all the numbers that follow. I can't clear my cache or do any of the other things Adobe suggests, as none of the browsers now work in the Desktop - the only Browsers working are the IE and Google apps, and none of these two allow me to clear cache etc.) Any suggestions.? My computer I just bought 1 year ago and all worked well before upgrading to Windows 8. It is all so frustrating!!!!
Thanks to anyone who can help me.Windows 8 comes with Flash Player preinstalled in Internet Explorer 10. Use Windows Update to update Flash Player to the latest version.
I do not have Windows 8 (and have no plans to ever have it), so I do not know any details.. Something I read around here is that you need to open IE from the desktop in order to have Flash working. -
Adobe Flash not working with OS X 10.9.4
I have a Macbook pro with OS X 10.9.4 . For some reason Adobe Flash is not working even though is is properly installed and updated. I tried uninstalling Flash and then reinstalling it. It still does not work. Whenever I am on a site that requires Flash for a video it just tells me that I do not have it. I recently removed some adware and Malware from my computer so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any suggestions?
Using Safari ?
If so, from your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab.
Select: Allow Plug-ins
If Allow Plug-ins was already selected troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, from your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Now try a video.

Is Adobe Flash Player compatible with my Macbook Pro?
I tried to go on Youtube but it wouldnt let me because it said I needed Adobe Flash Player but I didn't want to get it because I dont know if it will mess up my macbook.
There most certainly is a flash player or plugin that is compatible with OS X on a Mac.
If you aren't interested in having access to flash content - namely with YouTube, YouTube includes an HTML5 option for all video to be provided via HTML5.

Is Adobe flash player compatible with Opera
Have had problems with Google Chrome and Mozilla have uninstalled both and I am now using Opera, is this fine to download adobe flash player?
Opera uses the same Flash Player plugin as Safari, Firefox and ANY other non-IE browser (Seamonkey or Maxthon for example).
Chrome has its own proprietary Flash Player plugin ("PepperFlash"), modified, embedded and maintained solely by Google.
The others are:
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
If you have the "other browser" pluign installed, it should work with Firefox if it works with Opera. -
Why can't you keep addons compatible with your very frequent new version releases?
While I understand that you don't write the addons, it is very frustrating to me, that you keep releasing major version releases every few months, and the result is large numbers of incompatabilities. Why can't you make your builds more forgiving for addons? For instance I cannot use Norton Internet Security's toolbar right now - that's a pretty major addon, and I think it's on Mozilla to ensure some form of compatibility, or at the very least, have common REQUIREMENTS published, so vendors aren't left guessing every time.
This is a fake page, do update only from official page:
This page comes up when you click on a link? Open Firefox?
Try Start in Safe Mode, sometimes this problem is caused by addons:
*[http://mzl.la/MwuO4X Firefox in safe mode]
Case the problem doesnt occur in Safe Mode:
*[http://mzl.la/MAyOQc Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]
Sometimes the problem can be Malwares:
*[http://mzl.la/MPPnpl Problems with malwares]
Also, you can use addons to block popups/ads:

Dreamweaver Flash not compatible with ASP
I've build an ASP page with DW CS4 that has also a Flash
element on it.
When testing the page I've been surprised to see that IIS
fires an error
saying that is not alowed to have nested object tags in a
page. And that's
exactly what DW does when inserting Flash into a page!!!
This seems a big problem as it not uncommon to have some
Flash elements
inside ASP pages.
Any solutions for this issue?
Regards,
AngelThanks for the clarification. Sorry you are having the
problem....

Is Adobe Flash player compatible with Kindle Fire HD?
Compatibility with my Kindle Fire HD? Silk Browser?
I know that there is a Flash PlayerExperimental versions out, but I Cannot get one!
Absolutely NOT... There IS NO MORE Flash Player for Kindle (Android). NOT since June 2012. And... There will never be another Flash Player developed or updated for Android. The FINAL security update for older versions was released September 10, 2013, and that ENDED ALL DEVELOPMENT and maintenance of Flash for Android by Adobe.
There ARE NO "experimental versions out there"... NOT from Adobe, and NONE that are either supported or endorsed by Android.
Android (GooglePlay) has two (2) "server side" browsers they recommend for viewing Flash content and they DO NOT recommend using them in "mobile" mode.
"Dolphin" and "Puffin" are what they have available. That's it. Adobe doesn't have anything. Android has nothing nother than those.
