Norwegian charcters Unicode problem, InDesign CS5, Windows 7 64 bit

I have a problem with moving files from within an indesign plugin. I try to move an image file to the same folder as the inDesign document.
The problem is that the document folder contains norweigian characters. The folder name is: Boligdrøm_FW. If the folder is renamed to: Boligdrom_FW, it works without a problem.
The customer is using InD CS5, Windows 7, 64 bit. Im using Windows 7, 32 bit system, I can not reproduce the problem.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Does anyone have a quick solutions?

Im using the folowing code to copy the file:
res = MoveFile((LPCWSTR)newFilepath.GrabWString(), (LPCWSTR)documentPath.GrabWString());
Im using this code to get the path to the document:

          PMString    documentPath("");
          SDKUtilities::GetPathName(*dbSysFile,documentPath);

Not sure if this will help. Look at the PMString translation stuff. ( SetTranslated ).
