Noscript does not appear in my add-ons list in firefox 18

I know the Java plugin is disabled in FF 18 but I tried to install the Noscript add-0n. It says it is installed but after I restart FF, Noscript does not appear in my add-ons list. Windows XP

Thanks ideato but that's the problem. Noscript is not in the extensions list. I use the terms "add-ons list" and "extensions list" interchangeably. The author of Noscript advises me that the extensions/add-ons list manager must be corrupted.

Registration - my country (BRazil) does not appear in Country and Region list

I tried to use another country, but I need a valid address.

I am sending this email because recently I passed in the exam 1Z0-053 Oracle Database 11g: Administration II, which is the last examination necessary to acquire the OCP Certification. However, in the path to the certification I need to prove that I participated in an Oracle Official Training.
Searching for the course on the pearson vue site, I have not found the course name on the list. So I am sending this email with the course information required for certification. I attended to the course in college FIAP (http://www.fiap.com.br/en/conheca-a-fiap/parcerias-estrategicas/), in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, from March/2010 to March/2011. Accessing the link above is possible to verify that the educational institution is an Oracle Partner. The title that I got was "Graduate in Oracle Database Management".
In this email I attached a copy of the FIAP Certified Course (front.jpg certificate, certificate back.jpg). I’m also sending the data from my profile in the pearson vue site (Pearson VUE - My profile.pdf), and my scores in the exams for OCP certification (1Z0-051.pdf, 1Z0-052.pdf, 1Z0-053.pdf ).
If you need any further information just let me know and I will provide.
Please acknowledge this information and grant me the OCP certification (Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional).

Sorry, I expressed myself badly.
When I access http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle/course/ and start submission process of the course, in the first step “Select the track for which you have completed a certification requirement” I selected the option “Oracle Database 11g Administrator OCP”, in the second step I selected “ILT = Instructor Led Training”, but when I got on the third step “Which course or requirement did you complete?” I have to choose the course name that I did, the course name that I did does not appears in that list, so I do not know which one to select, even having at the end of the form the option “Other ...(Course or requirement is not shown above. Please enter title below.)” the course name I did is in Portuguese/Brazil, the name is “MBA em gestão de banco de dados oracle” in Portuguese, which in English would look like "Graduate in Oracle Database Management".
I sent an email to [email protected] containing the information that I found necessary to obtain certification.
But if I have to do the process in the pearson vue site, should I put the course name in Portuguese or in English ?
Only the email I sent is not enough ?

Airport Extreme connected drive does not appear in Time Machines drive list

I have two Macbook Pros. Both have 500GB hard drives. I have an airport Extreme with a WD terabyte hard drive and a HP printer attached via USB cable. Both Macbooks can access the WD HD & internet.
One MacbookPro has time machine set up to use the Terabyte HD as backup.
I want the other MacbookPro to also use this terabyte drive for backup.
But when I try to set up Time Machine to use the drive, the drive does not appear in the backup drive list.
What can I do to fix this? I had a HD crash on the non-backed up Macbook recently. I desperately need it to be backed up!
Any ideas?

Does the drive show in Disk Utility? Try a restart.

Duplicate entries in Add-Ons list? (Firefox 17 on Windows 8)

I'm not sure why, but I seem to have duplicate entries in the Firefox Add-Ons list.
They are:

Software: FF Version 17.0.1 on Windows 8 (Windows Updates are current).

I was having another issue where I could not see anything in the list of Extensions, although I knew there were many.
I unlinked this device from sync and did a reset, then re-synced.
Things seem to be working now.

I cannot remove the Yahoo toolbar. it does not appear as an add on

I have the latest version of Firefox (33.1). I want to remove the yahoo toolbar and disable the yahoo seach function from the address bar (and replace it with google). But when I go to add ons, there is no yahoo in either the plug ins or extebsions. So I cannot delete/remove. What should I do

It might just be that your search bar (the bar to the right of the address bar) is set to Yahoo, try changing it back to Google. To do that, on the search bar click the icon or the down triangle to display the list of search engines, and select Google from that list.
If that doesn't fix your problems, did you download Firefox from the official Mozilla site? Sometimes if you search on Google or any search provider, they sometimes have "Advertised links" which are sometimes Firefox bundles that have been slightly modified/shipped with malicious software.

Check your list of install programs in Windows - Control Panel > Programs and Features. Usually malware comes bundled with other applications, so if you sort by date and see several applications installed at the same day, it may be easier to find suspicious applications that way.

ADOBE FLASH PLAYER DOES NOT show up on add-ons and even though i install it on my computer it doesn't sync with Firefox to play movies

Vudu requires Adobe Flash Player for movies and gives me an error message saying that I need to update to the newest version and gives a link. When i follow the link and install the newest version I still get the same message. I checked add-ons Firefox and Adobe Flash Player doesn't show up as an available add-on or plug-in. What is the problem?

Your system details list doesn't show that the Shockwave Flash plugin is installed and enabled.
If you have the Shockwave Flash plugin installed then make sure that it is enabled.

Could the method of blocking add-ons be changed so that it does not prevent uninstalling those add-ons?

I have Firefox version 3.6.13. One of the add=ons it came with is blocked from running, and won't uninstall.

You can disable block listing temporarily to see if that allows to uninstall the extension. Some extensions are installed globally and can't be uninstalled via Firefox.

Image does not appear in Internet Explorer but displays in Firefox

My MFU does not appear in Image Capture scanner list

I have a brand new Samsung XPress C460FW/TEG MFU connected over WLAN. This appears perfectly in the list in the Printer and Scanner app, the Samsung's own scan software does see it as well. As it is acessible from Hamrick's ViewScan.
But
In the system own Image Capture App it is not there.
What am I doing wrong? How can I expose the scanner to Imapge Capture? It was there before I upgradet to Yosemite. Now I have 10.10.2

To scan with Image Capture your Samsung needs an ICA driver. The software from Samsung and VueScan most likely support an alternate scanner driver language known as TWAIN. So if you want to scan with Image Capture you need to check with Samsung if they have an ICA driver for your new device.

Mac OS X Lion does not Appear in the Purchased Apps list

I bought my MacBook Pro 15-inch late in July and got the free upgrade promotion for Mac OS X Lion from Apple. Now I went to Mac App Store and verified the purchased items and I don't see Lion listed there.
Any idea?

I had this problem too, but the purchase was actually "hidden".
My solution;
In th App Store menu click on "Store" and "View My Account"
Under the "iTunes in the Cloud" section of the new window that appears there were 2 "Hidden Purchases".
Click on "View Hidden Purchases" and then click on "Unhide" on OS X Lion (assuming it is there - mine was).
It will now re-appear in your puchases section and you can re-download and install if necessary. Note that when you hover the mouse near the download or installed button a little x in a circle appears - if you click this is hides the purchase again. I'm assuming this will only work if you have the appropriate Cloud settings for recording your purchases, but it worked for me.
Hope this helps anyone finding their way to this thread.

I purchased Fruit Ninja HD long time ago but now it does not appear in my purchased app list

I purchased Fruit Ninja HD v1.3 on app store in 2011 for my iPad2. Now I want to download it again on iPhone 6 but I can't find this app on app store nor purchased app list. I can see "Fruit Ninha" HD on app store though.(I did not purchase this version without HD)

It sounds like you are not able to find a previously purchased app in the iOS App Store. I recommend attempting to sync the app from your computer to your iPad if it was downloaded there:

Ok, I found pages on the iCloud drive. But the behavior of Pages is still the same, problem unchanged.

Process does not appear in Task Manager Details list

Hello, I've run into a problem while developing on Windows 8.1 where if a process crashes with a segfault, it occasionally continues to hold onto the
file but disappears from the Task Manager's Details tab. If I use Sysinternals Handle utility I can find the process and use taskkill to force kill the PID, then I'm able to fix my bug and recompile. It seems to happen more often when I run the executable
from GDB or Eclipse (using the GCC compiler). When I was using Windows 7, the process always showed up in the task manager so I was able to kill it easily when it hung. Any ideas?

For the issue,I would like to know if the screen displayed a user interface (UI) of this program when it crashed.
Handle tool is different with Task manager.
Handle tool can display information about open handles for any process in the system.
Meanwhile,open the PowerShell, use the following command to check if the process list displays your process.
