Not able to assign Composite Role to Position

Hello All,
I am facing following problems.
1) The user is Not able to see Create Report Links, when i checked the Composite Role in PFCG i found that the in USER Tab Organizational Tab was yellow, i did Indirect Reconcillatin in Organizational Tab and then it went GREEN, then i did User Comparision.
I got this Message
"You do not need to perform Prfile Comparision for role " Role Name".
and the Position was removed.
2) Now i am Trying to assing the Role to Position, i am not even able to assign it and the User id is not coming under User id list.
Please suggest.

@Point#1: It could be that user master is already compared for your composite role and no further comparison is required. To double check you might just run the comparison again via tcode PFUD or report RHAUTUPD_NEW
@Point#2: For indirect assigment to position make sure organization management is active in your system (the switch HR_ORG_ACTIVE is set in the table PRGN_CUST to YES).

yes, please use the IE and add the pop-up-page to the compatibility mode under "EXTRAS --> Settings for compotibility mode --> ADD".

Not able to assign Project to the Urgent Change Request with Developer Id with the existing Authorizations. With SAP_ALL authorization, everything works fine.

The Urgent Change request is in created status and I am not able to assign project to it. Also I am not able to change the status of the change request to In developement with developer's Id. Everything works fine if i assign SAP_ALL authorization to the developer.
Below are the roles assigned to Developer ID -

Not able to change the roles through the ERM after uploading from ECC

We are not able to do the following activities after uploading the roles into ERM from Backend system
1) We are not able to see any transaction data but we are able to see org values.
2) We are not able to change the roles from ERM.
Vserion and support pack leavel : GRC5.3 and 13
Please help in this.

Not able to assign the chart of depreciation

Hi i am not able to assign the chart of depreciation, can any one provide me the detail path for the below issue.

Diagnosis
You tried to assign chart of depreciation BHEL to company code BHEL. According to its Customizing definition, this company code manages parallel currencies.
The chart of depreciation does not contain a corresponding depreciation area for each of the currency types that are defined in the company code.
System Response
This assignment is not possible.
Procedure
1. Check the currency types of the company code.
2. Specify a corresponding depreciation area for each currency type.

Good Morning !
If your company code is having more than one currency than you will have to maintain that many depreciation areas.
OR
Before assigning COD to Company Code, delete the parallel currency maintained in multiple currencies in global settings.
below is the path:-
SPRO>Financial Accounting>Financial Accounting Global Settings>Company Code>Multiple Currencies-->Define Additional Local Currencies
After deleting you can assign the COD to Company Code.
After assigning you have go back again in define additional local currencies screen (mentioned above) and maintain the parallel currency which you have deleted.
You have first to Assign Input Tax Indicator for Non-Taxable Acquisitions in transaction code OBCL.
Check your parallel currencies in T.code OABT.

Not able to Assign Organizational Units to the Sites

Hi all,
while configuring intercompany billing I am not able to assign the Organizational Units to the Sites.
I am in retail system and maybe here I have to do something else before seting up the intercompany?

Not able to assign process server to file events.

Hi,
our requirement is we want a file event to be raised when ever a file is uploaded in BW.
when we tried to configured a file event we are not able to assign a process server. when we click on process server our bw process server is not popped up.
i am not clear what setting needs to be maintained in dataroot directory.

do we need to set up any platform agent on BW System

1)Do we require seperate license for Platform agents and once after downloading the platform agent can we install from CPS side by submitting job definition or this is a BASIS job to install the platform agent on the system where we want the files to be detected.
2)is there any setting needs to be done on CPS side after we intall Platform Agents in the bw system.

NOT ABLE TO ASSIGN MO:OPERATING UNIT PROFILE VAL TO A RESPONSIBILITY

I am trying to create new orgnization and assigning parameters in AP. I am not able to assign profile values. Could you pl. clarify foll points..
To generate seeded data, it is displaying(in the concurrent program) existing operating unit in the LOV not the new Operating unit that I created.
When i try to associate new Responsibilty to MO operating unit level, it is displaying existing organization not newly created org.
NOt able to assign profile values to business group(field is protected against update) as I created new ORG not with "setup Business Group".
When i click legal entity parameter in operating unit, it is displaying
"NO ENTRIES FOUND FOR LIST OF VALUES"

We have a value at the site level, and at the 1st OM super user responsibility having the issue has no default value, hence defaulting the value from the site level.
The other OM super user responsibility has a value. And this value is defaulted to the 1st OM responsibility profile from time to time.
The other responsibility OM Administrator have no problem. This value changes when the users logged into this OM super user responsibilities (both OU), the value switches back and forth to 2nd OU value and then the site level value fills the value for the 1st OM super user responsibility(even though we didn't have any default value before).
If the users logged into 1st OM Administrator responsibility to process the orders, then no problem, the value stays to the correct OU).
We have been relying on the defaulting value(coming from the site level) for all this time and have had no problems until now. It was always blank for the 1st OM super user. but, when the problem started then only it's having issue. I manually deleted the value (wrong value from the other OU) at the 1st OM Super user level, then next time the user logs into the 1st OM Super user resp, then it's having the correct value(same as site), and keep on updating the value with this correct value. But, all of a sudden it changes to the wrong OU value, don't know what object is causing this...

Assigning authorization role to position in PP02 (SRM 5.0) not working

Hi,
We've run into a problem in our SRM 5.0 system that we're not sure how to solve.
We defined a role where we only set the BBP_APPROVAL_LIMIT attribute in the Personalization tab. It has no other transaction authorizations.
When we assign this role to the user directly the user inherits the BBP_APPROVAL_LIMIT as expected.
When we attempt to assign this same role to a position through PP02 and run the PFUD, the attribute values are not transferred to the user personalization attributes. Doesn't matter what we do, we can't seem to be able to get it to work.
Does anyone one have any experience with this that they could share?

This is one of the things that I'm trying to confirm which is whether it can be done. I was told that it does work and that they use PP02. But as we can't get it to work I wanted to know if anyone else is using this process and if yes, how do you do it.
If people mainly use the explicit user assignment via PFCG, do they manage it manually or systematically?

Indirect Role Assignment: Composite roles

Can anyone shed some light regarding the following scenario:
We have a user previously assigned to a managerial position and this position is attached to a MSS-composite role in PO13 (thorugh the AG relationship). Now this user has been delimited from that managerial position, and is now assigned to a new position as a normal staff, so he shouldn't have the MSS-composite role anymore. We updated the run in PFUD with HR Org-assignment reconcilation, but we still find the Composite role for Managers in his user master record in SU01.
What might be wrong?

We have not scheduled RHPROFL0 to run. Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't this is only needed when PD-profile is used? We are not assigning structural profile though PD-profile in PO13, we do it manuall instead in OOSB. Besides, I am not able to run that program anyway, because we have the CUA set to Global, and no indirect role asssignment is possible. We can only do the comparison via the HR-org assignment reconciliation in PFUD. Can this be the main reason somehow?
I also found out that our PRGN_CUST has no entries in it: HR_ORG_ACTIVE is not on. <<--- Does this only need to be switch-on if our CUA is set Local? Do I need this?
Then, my answers below to your questions:
1. Do you mean the "pink-arrow-up" icon from the old position? Then the answer is yes.
2. Then position itself it not delimited, only the user assignment is. In PPOSE, it shows that the person is assigned to this old position from 01.04.2007 until 31.01.2008. So I guess in that sense, it tells that the position is truly delimited.
3. Yes
4. In PA records I can see many records under different validity dates, but they are all records of the new position. The earliest record (the one at the end of the list) was a record attached to a default position and without any organization assignment. Then, in PA > List Organizational Assignment screen, there is a system message that says "Employee has more than one position". --> Does this refer to the non-listed old position? or default position + new position in PA record?
5. No. The new position is just an ordinary employee without any indirect role assigment.
We also tried to remove the MSS-composite role from the old position in PO13, but it doesn't make any difference to the user master record in SU01.
For your reference as well, this is how our US_ACTGR looks like:

Not able to find Remote roles in User Management

We are using RRA for sharing contents between two portals. In the consumer portal PCD, the contents and roles of the producer portal is showing perfectly. But when i am trying to find the roles in User management in the consumer portal, these remote roles are not showing, and subsequently we are not being able to assign these remote roles to our local users. I have checked the connection and permission. Please help.

1. Please make sure that the server clocks on the producer and consumer portal are synchronized. One of the prerequisite for FPN is that the server clocks of the producer portal and consumer portal must be synchronized at all times.
2. When you are not able to see a remote role, at that time, test your SSO between consumer and producer. You can do this by logging in first into your consumer and then changing the URL to that of the producer and then hit Enter. If SSO is correctly working, you should be logged into the producer portal without having to log in again.

Just check if you have the right permissions to do that.
It can also happend that the businees system is not added in the SLD or SLD has to be refreshed.

Not able to find Composite Application node in Developer Studio

I have installed Netweaver Developer Studio to create Composite Application through CAF core.
On opening the Developer studio I should go to the link Window -> Open Perspective -> Others -> Composite Application to create a project.
I am able to get till the link Window -> Open Perspective -> Others -> but under others i dont find the node Composite Application. Can you please tell me what can be the reason??
For your ref: When I installed Developer Studio i kept the update url path as the default one i.e. http://nwds.update and after installing Developer Studio i am not able to get the Update Manager window. I have tried going to Help > Software Updates > Find&Install > Search for new features to install and selected the Developer studio update site but it give me an error "network connection problem encountered during the search"

Hi,
You have to install the new features in NWDS before using it.
If you didn't manage to go that after the first launch of NWDS, you can install the new features after.
Help > Software Updates > Find&Install > Manage Configuration
You had to unzip the NWDS_platform file to install NWDS.
In the new directory you should be able to find a site.xml file.
From Help > Software Updates > Find&Install > Manage Configuration, create a new location to that directory and then
Help > Software Updates > Find&Install > Search for new features to install, select your new location.
