i've not be able to use my nokia 5130 to browse via opera mini for free unless i hv money on it. pls does anyone has the setting? hw will configure my phone to browse for free. pls i need help

Your phone doesn't have wifi so, if you want to access to the internet, you will have to use gprs. Contact your network operator to learn for charges.

If I remember correctly, Opera Mini does a connectivity test when first launched. What about that? Did you have it done?
You could also try to reinstall (unistall and install) the software.

Torch 9800 - Mobile Data and BIS not activated - Mail & Browse fail, Opera Mini is slow and MSN and Yahoo go in timeout

I have a BB Torch 9800 with OS 6.0 Bundle 2534
I had a contract with the Mobile Operator including the Data Package and everything was working fine, I have access to the mail through BIS, MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger was working Ok, as far as Whatsup. Also the Browser was working Ok.
When I was on roaming I have settled “Roaming Off” in “Mobile Network Options” to just use Internet over Wi-Fi when I was under the Wi-Fi coverage.
Then I’ve decided to migrate the contract to “Recharchable” and also decided to dismiss the Data Packet because of cost limitations. Now I have BIS in “not connected” state.
Problem now is that I cannot get the apps working when connected to any Wi-Fi AP.
Mail is not working. MSN & Yahoo returns the message “Unable to find the requested server” when attempting to login. The Browse is also not working and only Opera Mini seems to work but it takes several minutes to build a page.
I’ve also tried to ping the AP and it rarely succeed, sometimes all attempts are failing, sometimes one attempt succeed.
It seems to my eyes that there is a terribly big delay and some applications (except mail and browse that shows not to work) go in timeout with the message previously described.
I’m not sure whether BIS access or no access is influencing the BB behavior with a Wi-Fi connection and making dramatically slower.
The BB connects at Layer 1 with the AP because I can see the BB MAC address at the AP’s menu. I’ve tried also with DHCP Client and Manual IP configuration, no way.
I’ve found at http://forums.crackberry.com/general-blackberry-discussion-f2/unable-find-requested-server-bb-9330-a... that it could be a bug in the 6.0.
I’ve searched tons of forum postings and it seems no one has the clue of this problem. Unfortunately the Torch 9800 cannot be upgraded to the 7.x. this is really bad as it seems I have purchased a “dead” mobile phone.
Of course I’ve tried with lots a different Aps. I’m a technician and I think I’ve done a proper troubleshooting before to come to this conclusion.
Anyone has an update about this problem or, I have no other chance than throwing away this phone and purchase a nice Samsung Note II hopping not be blocked with another unexpected showstopper.

The only two options available to you are adding BIS to your plan or continue using Opera which works outside of BIS (the BlackBerry browser does not).

Not able to browse my mac mini since my macbook pro is upgraded to mountain lion

I have a macmini (running Lion with all updates) and a macbook pro(with Mountain lion all updates) connected to my home network (wifi)
A few weeks ago I had macmini(Lion) and macbook pro had Snow leopard. I enabled file sharing between these two computers and
I could browse these computers from one another via Finder.
Since I upgraded macbook pro to Mountain lion, though I get the foreign computer icon in Finder, I can not browse one from another.
I click on the foreign computer icon, but nothing happens and it reports connection failed. Note there was no password change or
any other configuration change in between.
Have you seen this problem? Is this a bug introduced via Mountain Lion ? Anyone has any fix ?

Not able to browse with Zen Mi

When I plug my Zen Micro into the USB2.0 port on my Windows XP SP2 computer, an icon in the system tray appears that says MTP Media Player. (2..02 firmware) It gives me the choice to sync with WMP or Napster. If I choose Napster it starts up Napster and does nothing. If I start up WMP it says it cannot detect a device. No icon appears in My Computer. When I attempt to install drivers for the device, it asks me to ensure the device is plugged in. I know that the computer recognizes that a MTP Media Player was plugged in, but then nothing recognizes it. On another WinXP SP2 computer it works fine. (works on the USB . on the other, this computer has USB 2.0 - Don't think it matters) My suspicion is that one of the Windows services that allows MTP players is not running. Which would that be? If that is not the problem, any other ideas?

You should reinstall Windows Media Player 0 on your computer.
Open up Control Panel
Click on Add/Remove programs
Click on the Show Updates box at the top middle of the window.
Scroll down until you see Windows Media Player 0
Click on Remove (or Change/Remove)
A window will showup saying that you are rolling back, click OK and Continue to proceed
Once that is done and you restarted your computer, open up WMP9.
Click on Help
Click on Check For Player Upgrade.
Once the update is complete and restarted open up WMP0 to complete the installation
Connect the Micro
If it recognizes but WMP still doesn't recognize it

Download the Windows Media Format 9.5 Runtime.

Not able to login with operator(user id) in datamover

After db setup and running tools rel and other scripts i am trying to login to data mover using PS/PS or any other op id...I am getting
"Invalid user and password logon denied" error...
Ran grant and checked config manager also but of no use does any one have idea??

Sorry , but NO and NO. You can use Opera mobile as default browser, but it only opens attachments and links in mail, everything else reverts to native browser. Best way to watch Youtube is to download the YouTube app from Google mobile.

Unfortunately Opera does not support Flash. You can use Skyfire to view video, but as a browser it's very laggy !

Did your 4S have Facetime on it before you updated? The 4S, new, shipped with Facetime and didn't need and update to iOS 6 to get it. However, if you purchased an iPhone that was designated to be sold in UAE, Saudi Arabia and a couple of other Middle Eastern countries, then the device does not have FaceTime and it can't be added.

Nokia 208 problems with Opera Mini

I have a Nokia 208 (Single SIM) and I can not install Opera Mini on him. The application is downloaded but not installed. When I want to install the application, it shows me: "Installing ..." and remains locked so. And after some time it says: "Unable to connect to the internet. Please chech your settings". I tried several versions of Opera Mini and same problem. I downloaded from Nokia Store and m.opera.com site, etc., and the same problem. Other applications on the phone I saw that it works. And I can surf the internet, the problem is only with Opera Mini. Internet provider is Vodafone Romania. So how can I solve this problem? Or Nokia 208 (Single SIM) is not compatible with Opera Mini? We have several reports of this issue. In one case, it was solved by creating the configuration settings manually which made sure both the Access Point and the Web account are configured correctly. Your description only tells us, the Web configuration is OK.
To solve this issue finally, I would like to go this path again first:

Problem with Opera mini

Hi,
I have installed opera mini on my Nokia E61. So far I´m content with it, it´s working well. However, when I visit the website clevertanken.de (a site for viewing current gasoline prices), I´m stuck - it seems that an advertisement popup opens when I click on the site and I can´t close it, so I´m stuck on that popup and when I don´t want to go where it wants to link, there´s no way to go on...
How can I turn that off?

Unfortunately, it doesn´t work yet - when I check "mobile view", it all looks a bit different, but when I click on one of the buttons ("Umkreissuche"), there is the popup again (some insurance comparison stuffy thingy) and I´m stuck. I´m using vrs. 4.2.14912 - I downloaded the thing from the website and that´s what I got. It´s not old. Have they recently upgraded? If so, I would get the most current version asap.

Datareader is not able to connect with database-Urgent

All of a sudden the Datareader component in my ML experiment is not able to connect with database with the following error:
[ModuleOutput] DllModuleHost Error: 1 : Program::Main encountered fatal exception: Microsoft.Analytics.Exceptions.ErrorMapping+ModuleException: Error 0000: Internal error ---> System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.ArgumentException: The value's length for key 'password' exceeds it's limit of '128'.
Module finished after a runtime of 00:00:00.2031339 with exit code -2
Module failed due to negative exit code of -2
It complains about the password being long-but the same credentials I have been using for the last 2 months and still able to use it to run sql queries on that same database using the management portal.
It appears that Azure encrypts the password and that encrypted password is too long...just my guess after looking that the output.Inside Ml it just says as internal error
Would appreciate if someone can point to the issue at the earliest...(There is a demo early next week)

which is an experiment which I created doing save as of the experiment in which the data reader works.
I stripped everything except the data reader and setup the rest of the components...I finally have to write the results back ,so also pulled a Writer component.
Now,the data reader works fine..but the Writer fails:
Error 0071: Incorrect username "acnadmin" or password is passed
Strangely,its the same credentials set in the DataReader.
Looks like all the DataInput/Output components created recently only have the problem.
Once again,while the datareader in this case passes the password in plain text,the writer encrypts,hence fails.

Are yo trying to pair via an app that supports BT pairing? If you are I would try:
- Resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
-Resetting network settings on the iPod: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
