Not able to create new folder in list/library sharepoint 2013 foundation

I am not able to create new folder in library and also not able to edit existing list item
Below is the error:

Hi V_K04,
You said that it happened only on few sub sites, whether this issue occurred on some subsites, and some subsite worked well.
Please check whether there are some differences between the subsites that worked well and the problematic subsites.
Whether this issue occurred on all libraries and lists on problematic subsites.
Whether there are some customizations in these problematic libraries and lists.
Please create a new library and a new list, test again, compare the result.

Not able to create new entry in RSADMIN Table

Hi All,
        I am going thru the OSS note 1275837 (Note 1275837 - PrecServer: process based load distribution (ABAP part)), as it recommends
        add the entry "BWPREC_USE_NEW_LOAD" with value "X" in table "RSADMIN"
      When I check in SE11 and SE16 there is no option to create button for above entry in table RSADMIN.
      Please advise for any help to create above entry.

   I got access key from our basis team. But still not able to create new entry as mentioned in OSS note. Any further help....

Goto SM30 - Table Maintanance Generator and enter the table name and click on button maintain ,it will show the error message
"The maintenance dialog for RSADMIN is incomplete or not defined" because the table maintenance is not allowed manually.
First Option
When you double click the error message a performance assistant screen will open in that you can see Procedure
"Generate the required maintenance dialog" click on that and try to maintain the table using Access Key, as i dont have access key i have not tried this option.
Second Option
You can write an SE38 program with an insert statement.
TABLES rsadmin.
DATA: wa TYPE rsadmin.
wa-object = 'object name'.
wa-value = 'X'.
INSERT into rsadmin values wa.

I am using an iMac and i am selling it tomorrow. So i am trying to back up all my files on my transcend external HD 500GB. I am not able to create a folder in the transcend and also even if I try to copy a file in the transcend folder. It just wont happen

It looks like the external disk is formatted in NTFS, a format that OS X can't write in. The solution is to format the external drive in "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" (if you are going to get a Mac), or "MS-DOS (FAT)" (if you are going to get a PC) as Format in Disk Utility > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html
Then, you will be able to copy the files you need to the external drive. Note that "MS-DOS (FAT)" doesn't support files bigger than 4 GB.

Not able to create new users or groups

hi all,
We have configured multiple LDAPs by changing XML file.
But now we are not able to create new users or groups.It is giving error saying that "Adapter is configured as read-only"
Can anybody help me out in this problem.

For multiple LDAPs to work we have downloaded the Xml file namely "Flat hierarchy + Database "
We made the necessary changes and then uploaded it.
Now we want to create users or groups in portal-database and not in LDAP. But it is throwing error saying that "Adapter is read only". We suppose that it is trying to create users and groups in LDAP.
So can anyone help us to create users or groups in portal-database.

Users not able to create new ojects in Integration Repository

Hi,
    We did a heterogeneous copy of PI from AIX to HPUX. After that we have done few post installation steps w.r.to PI Specific usage type.
    all the developers are able to login to the integration repository, but when they are trying to "Edit" or "Create" new objects they are getting the following error
"You are not permitted to create new objects since the software component cannot be changed".
   this is working with PISUPER user but not with any development user id and passwd.
    any response is higly appreciated.

Not able to create sub folder using SharePoint web service in large SharePoint document library (Item count view threshold limit)

We are trying to create folder & subfolder in a SharePoint document library using SharePoint default(dws) web service. Document library has unique permission as well as item level permission. It was working as expected. Once item count crosses
view threshold limit ( 5000) , create folder web method completes with an error and it creates a folder in SharePoint.

Yes, you're probably hitting the 5000 list item threshold (
http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/105937/overcoming-5000-file-document-library-limits ). I assume you can do it via the UI because you're probably logged in as an admin in which case, out of memory, the threshold is 20.000 items. You can extend
this limit, but you probably shouldn't.

Not able to create new item

Hi ,
I am trying to create a new item at the master level and getting the following message :
You are only authorized to access company 'ABC1000' .
Value secured: You Are Only Authorised To Access Company 'ABC1000' .
I am not able to change the accounts to ABC1000 in the cost of goods sold accounts and other accounts in the item creation screen.
Is there any profile options that I am missing?

Not able to create New Transformation file in BPC

I am getting error in BPC 10.0 when creating new transformation file from the EPM tab in Excel.
When i click on create New transformation then some garbage value appear on the Excel cells. Problem with Authorization is not the case as i have checked all the authorizations in BI and BPC.

Can you check in UJFS Tcode whether you have file named newconversiontable.xlt and newtransformation.xlt in \ROOT\WEBFOLDERS\ADMINTEMPLATES.
Also can you check the Language settings of yours in Excel Option

Iam facing one of the pecular problem I copied WESCHEINVERS3 into Zlayout from client 000.
when i tried to create new paragraph format I found the create element greyed out I have never seen this issue earlier.
May I know why the menu path paragraph->EDIT->create element is greyed out.

U can create new paragraph formats, windows, character formats etc., only in original language of the FORM.. I guess u were trying to create a new paragraph format in 'EN' but the original language of form 'WESCHEINVERS3' is 'DE', so u can create the new paragaraph format in the copied Z form only in DE language.
Try to open the Z FORM in DE and create the Paragraph format...

Can fill-able forms created in Acrobat 9 work with SharePoint 2013 workflow?

Okay so here's the deal.....
I have a few HR forms that need to be searchable and created as workflows in SharePoint 2013. Creating a custom list will not work because it is not a built to create forms. Integrating InfoPath would be ideal, but it will not work either because the company
will not pay for Enterprise licensing.
So my question is....what if I created a fill-able form in Acrobat and uploaded to SharePoint. Can I create a workflow from the document. The only question is, when the user fill out the form, where it will go? There is no submit button.
I guess the REAL question is, other than InfoPath, is there a work around to having forms on SharePoint that can be created as a workflow and made searchable. Did I mention that the forms must be fill-able.

No, you cannot submit form values of a acrobat to SharePoint. You can use list form for basic form, else try using jquery to build custom forms as an alternative for infopath. Refer to the following codeplex solution. You could use this or build one similar
to that using the source code.

While creating the new repository under Virtaul Content Repository, i am getting follwing error. Please help
The Repository class: com.documentum.beaspi.webcache.WebCacheRepository is not a valid implementation. Please check your classpath.
I have put dmcmspi.jar in ear\EarContent\APP-INF\lib and domain\base_domain\lib folder but still I am getting this error.

I think that code will work with BEA weblogic 8.1 version. With weblogic 9.2 all the repository API's have changed. Unfortunately Documentum Content services have NOT upgraded their API's. So you cannot use this class anymore. I also tried using this class. If you have any further knowledge please share here..

Not able to create new user (account)

I would like to create a new user on my account, but when I click on the + sign I get no response. It is not grey'd out, and appears to be an option - the lock is open, and I am the adminstrator signed in as such(there is currently only one account on the compuer)
I've tried the obvious solutions like restarting. Any tips?
