Not able to download apps to my BlackBerry Torch 9810

Hi everyone.  New BB user here.  Just picked up a BB Torch 9810.  Set up my BlackBerry ID and have no problem accessing pretty much everything - except App World.  When I attempt to download an app or go to the My World tab I get a legal notice regarding "BlackBerry App World and BlackBerry Payment Service..."  When I accept the agreement, nothing happens.  Won't let me download the app I've selected, just goes right back to the app description.  I try clicking on the My World tab and no matter how many times I accept the agreement it won't let me do anything; just keeps asking me to accept the agreement again.  I've already tried uninstalling and redownloading App World, yet I continue to get the error.
I like the phone but without the ability to download apps it's fairly useless to me.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

I really do not think it is the iPad or your network connection. Other users have reported this very same issue. Try this and see if it works for you - it may not work - but it's easy to try - harmless - and it has worked in the past for others.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again.

    Hi,

    Hi sgunturi,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If you're not able to download apps or the iOS update over Wi-Fi, I'd recommend first updating your iPad mini using iTunes, if possible:
Resolve issues with an over-the-air iOS update
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4431
Download takes a long time, or you can't reach update server
iOS updates require a persistent Internet connection, and the time it takes to download the update will vary according to the size of the update and your Internet speed. You can use your device normally while downloading the iOS update, and iOS will notify you when you can install the update. To improve the speed of the download, avoid downloading other content.
If you get a message that "an error occurred downloading iOS," try again later. If the issue persists, try updating your device in another network or use iTunes to update your device. Learn more about iOS updates.

  • Not able to download apps at all

    Hey guys!
I just backed my iPhone 3G data to iPhone 4.
I am not able to download apps from the App store ..it keeps on asking the password over and over even after the password is correct , it just keeps on popping up the iTunes store log in  and ultimately it doesn't allow to download app.!
Here are some solutions that I have tried and ended up failing.!
    1. Signing out of App store and again signing in
    2. Resetting the password.
    3. Resetting the iPhone to factory settings and then signing in.
    4. Creating a new Apple ID and signing in .
    5. Reset all media and erase then sign in
this problem is prevailing only after restoring the back up from iPhone 3 before that is was working fine and was able to download apps from App store.

    Hi mhp14694,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your iPhone 4. I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are describing. It sounds like you have been on the right track in troubleshooting this. If you are still having issues after all your listed steps, you may want to try restoring your iPhone to factory settings and testing it in that default condition to see if you can download from the App Store before restoring your data. You may find the following article helpful:

I am not able to download apps on my iPod touch. They keep saying that my ID has to be reviewed! PLease help me out!! I've been trying since an hour and i have typed my password in about a million times! What can I do?

On a computer or the iPod log into your ID and review/verify all the information and log out.

  • When I try to download apps, I am asked to answer security questions. However, when I cklick "continue", I am required to type in my Apple ID password but nothing else happens.  Bottomline, I am not able to download apps at the time which is annoying.

Try downloading something from the iTunes Store on the iPad and see if that solve the password problem.

  • Not able to Download Apps anymore.....

    Can't Download Apps anymore....
For about three weeks now, I have not been able to download apps from the market or any other site.
I am able to scroll through the apps or scan the code, but when I click the install, I get this following message every single time:
    "Sorry....
The Application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly.  Please try again.
     - Force close -"
No matter how many time I attempt to install, on different apps at different times of the day, I get the same annoying message.
Now, perhaps something I downloaded in the past is interfering with new app downloads.....I dunno.
Any ideas on how to correct this please...?
    Thanks.

I feel your pain!  I had a very similar situation with my LG Ally last week.  Suddenly, and for no apparent reason, I couldn't update any apps (it would literally be downloading for HOURS), and I couldn't install any new apps either.  I performed the whole shut down/restart thing; pulled the battery; even did the factory reset more times than I can count, and I still kept getting an error message.  (Can't remember exactly what the message was; something to do with google and "the process" stopping unexpectedly).  Finally called Verizon customer support - they did what they could (which was very little - surprise, surprise).  They said they could replace the phone, but suggested that I call LG support first, which I did.  LG was even more useless.  Called Verizon again, they transferred me to tech support.  Tech support was unfamiliar with the error message I was receiving, but they were more than helpful in getting me a replacement phone.
Now, I have a couple of things to say about Verizon support.  Despite the constant complaining I hear on these forums about Verizon, I have NEVER had a problem with them - EVER.  I have been a Verizon customer forever - it is the only wireless provider I have ever had.  They have never been anything other than helpful and pleasant, no matter what I called about - my plan, my phone, whatever.  When I called last week about this current issue, the people I talked to were professional, helpful, and nothing less than courteous even though I'm sure I was not the nicest person at the time.  The last tech that I talked to on Wednesday evening at almost 11pm, was very apologetic about my particular problem, and even kicked in free overnight shipping so I would have my phone before the holiday weekend.  He didn't have to do that, but that my friends, is the definition of Customer Service.
    But I digress.......
My recommendation, Chicagoastro, is to call customer service and see what they can do for you.  At worst, they will do nothing and you are screwed.  At best, they just may send you a replacement phone.  NOTE:  I did not receive a "new" Ally, but a replacement - bare bones, no charger, no battery, no back, no SD card.  I didn't care one bit.  It works, and that is all that matters.
Good luck, and enjoy the ride!

  • I am not able to download apps on my ipod touch.

I am not able to download anything on my ipod. I used to but not anymore. Then they always ask for security questions. It never did that before. My wifi is working and stuff so I don't know.

  • Not able to download apps on iPhone 3G

I recently changed my credit card on my iTunes account and now I cannot download any apps on my iPhone. It keeps saying "Your account info has changed. Go to iTunes store on your computer and update your biling info. I have done this like 10 times and I keep gtting that same message. Before I changed my credit card I was able to download apps. I have restarted my phone and that does not help either. This is getting really frustrating. Anyone have any ideas on a fix for this?

    One thing that might help.
On your iphone, go to settings > general > reset.
    Reset all settings.
Now try to download the app again.
If issue still persists, here is a link to the itunes store support.

  • Why am i not able to download apps through the 4g network i can only download stuff through wifi onlyy

i cannot download updates or stuff through the play store except when in wifi. i always get an error 495. what does that mean and how do i fix it it. what is the point of having data and the android market if you can download anything unless you are in a place that has wifi.  i would like to be able to download stuff through the network but it just wont let me. i always get errors after it tries downloading after a few minutes. how do you fix that.

        Hi there Akorns35!
I want you to update your apps where ever your heart desires! I will be delighted to help.
This is generally a setting. Turn it off by following these steps:
Open Google Play > Choose Menu > Settings > Tap "Update over Wi-Fi only" and turn that off!
    Keep us posted!

  • Not able to download apps from mac app store, Apple ID-sign in error.

I cannot download apps from the mac app store. It sais your password is incorrect and after a few tries it takes me to page: have you forgotten your password. But in other hand i can go into my Apple ID-account management page and my Itunes account. What should i do? i have tried to reniew my Apple ID password, it didn't work. thanks a lot!

Try restarting your Mac then try the App Store.
If that doesn't help, quit the App Store.
Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Finder > Go > Go to Folder
    Type or copy/paste:   ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go then move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
    Try the App Store.
