I am not able to drag WEB items into the Layout. Is it a Basis issue? Or some changes in the settings need gto be done.

Solved my own problem. Didn't realize I had to export the preview file from iBooks author. Once I did that, I was able to select that file within the preview box.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Check the message that is handled in the program in the selection screen validations.Double click and find out the message.Then you can easily trace why it's happening.

Also when connected to the PC, It shows that there is no content in the Music and Video folders. I restored the OS and upgraded it to 4.2. But the display is even worse. Do help me to sort this out.

If you restored to factory defaults/new iPod and still have a problem then you likely have a hardware problem. An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

hi am not able to drag Queriable Attributes into the new query.jsf page and abl to Create it as a Query > ADF Query Panel.
this is what i have done
1.In the Application Navigator locate the adfc-config file under the Page Flows node in the ViewController project. Double-click it to open it in the editor. This is where you are going to define the application's navigation.
2.Drag the DeptEmpPage.jsf file from the Application Navigator into the empty adfc-config diagram.
3.From the Component Palette drag and drop a View component into the adf-config diagram, and rename it query. This represents the new JSF page that you are about to create.
4.From the Component Palette select Control Flow Case and then click on the DeptEmpPage and drag a line to the query page.
Name this line goQuery.
5.From the Component Palette choose another Control Flow Case and then create an opposite flow from the query page to the DeptEmpPage. Name this flow back.
6.Double-click the query view in the diagram to create the new page. In the Create JSF Page dialog accept the default Facelets radio button, and with the Quick Start Layout radio button selected, click Browse.
7.In the Component Gallery, retain the default One Column category, type and layout, but check the Apply Themes checkbox in the Options pane.
Click OK and OK again to create the page.
8.To add the employees search functionality to the page, open the Data Controls accordion, and locate EmpDetails1. (If you do not see it click the Refresh button).
am not able to Select All Queriable Attributes and drag it into the new query.jsf page. Create it as a Query > ADF Query Panel.

I found the problem. I have VMware fusion that is hosting Window XP on the iMac. When the fusion is running the CD player is not seen in OS. By quitting Fusion I can now insert a CD and the disk icon appears on the OS screen. Now I can bring up iTunes and import the audio and continue as before. The one exception is I cannot bring in a photo of the album cover as before I have to drag the photo out of iPhoto and onto the desk top. Then I can drag it into the artwork patch in the iTunes/ info window.

I can not drag graphic items into or out of the Creative Cloud library in Illustrator CC 2014

I've recently upgraded to the new 2014.1.0 release that includes linked Creative Cloud Libraries. However, it appears that my version of Illustrator is not allowing me to drag graphic items into or out of the library panel. I can use the menu prompts and panel buttons to add items to my library or document, however the drag feature is not working. You can see the issue in the screencast below. If anyone else is having this problem and has figured out a solution, I'd greatly appreciate it. It's worth noting that the panel works as advertised in other applications within Creative Suite CC. Csound1 What Ive been trying to explain is that I have been running bootcamp, I open the app where the first screen is the introduction, i hit continue, the first time I select "download the latest windows support software fromm Apple" then I return and instead select "Install Windows 7." Then hit continue. The third screen is where I "Create a Partition for Windows" I set Windows to 80 gigs then hit INSTALL. As stated before Bootcamp cannot find the install drivers saying "The installer disc could not be found." My windows software is on a USB drive not a disc, I tried using a virtual disc reader to make it appear that the windows software was running on a disc, still no luck. What I would like to know is how to install windows on bootcamp.

Oops, I forgot a step between 7 and 8 ... before syncing the iPhone I need to explicitly send the document back to iTunes on the iPhone, or the changes won't come over at all ...
and then one more thing ... Numbers on iOS does NOT recognize a number of key features of the OSX app, such as conditional formatting ... so after editing my document on iOS and syncing it back to OSX on my Mac, all of those settings are lost (no more conditional formatting, have to do it all over again)

Question - are we not able to create indexed items in custom folders?

Just a question here. I would like to use the index/Value option for parameters in a workbook. This is where the List of Values drop down box for the parameter would show both the index number and the value and let you choose to select based on the index or on the value. An obvious example of this would be with months, where you would have January (1), February (2), March (3), and so forth. To do this, you have to set up indexed items in Discoverer Administrator.
That is where I am running into a problem/issue. I am not being able to pick an item and click to look at its properties, scroll down to the Indexed Item property, click on that property, and get a list of items to pick from. On the indexed item property I see a value of <None>, and when I click on that property, no list of items pops up.
I have defined indexed items before, but that was always done on regular folders (imported from the database). In this case, I am working with a custom folder.
The SQL that I have keyed in for this custom folder is this -

WHERE flex_value_set_id = 1011187

FND_FLEX_VALUES_VL is an Oracle view, that combines Oracle tables FND_FLEX_VALUES and FND_FLEX_VALUES_TL.
My goal would be to show both the FLEX_VALUE and the DESCRIPTION in the parameter to the users, so they can better decide what value(s) they want to pick. This is a general ledger application that I am working with, with the General Ledger account number segments and the Flexfield value set for each segment (we are using 7 segments to define our general ledger account number).
Am I not able to define indexed items when working with a custom folder? The documentation is not real clear. It talks about simple folders and complex folders, but does not mention custom folders, at least that I can find. Or perhaps I need to do something different with how I code the SQL for the custom folder to enable me to define indexed items in the custom folder?
Hope this makes some sense. Always a challenge to explain the situation in a clear manner. Thanks for any insight/assistance anyone can give me on this.

Ahh, those picky little details. Once I created an Item Class LOV on my item, then I could click on the Indexed Item property and get the list of fields in the folder to show up and pick my item (to be the indexed item) from that list. I went back to the user guides and the documentation sure does not indicate this requirement. For example, in the Discoverer Administrator guide, you have the section (page 9-30 in the version I have) titled "How to assign an indexed item to an item". Nowhere in that section does it say that you have to create an Item Class LOV first to be able to do this. Though it does show how if you do not have an LOV on the item you pick to be the indexed item, you will be prompted to create an LOV for that item. In the past I had my LOVs created first. This time I was trying to do the indexed item first before creating my LOVs. So lesson learned - you have to create an Item Class LOV first before you can assign an indexed item to an item.

These reports are still pointing to old servers so, how to edit this database connection details in the new version??

I think we need to change the database connection details in the Web analysis.
goto file --> Edit --> browse the database connection then change the server name in the connection details.
may be this will help to resolve your issue.

I realized that I can put a block in WebI and then I can pull that in excel alongside of static header, after putting the question.
My interest to know whether it is by design in XI 3.0 or it is an issue. But by the replies it seems to me like it is by design.
@Anis: I can't go for header as part of Body. Because this report is viewed in Web by many other users. I can't have separate report for Live office, it is a restriction for me. If I use the header in body, it wont look good I guess.

i am not able to add free items in already created import PO. when i add item and click on free item check box, system says "No delivery costs allowed without invoice receipt" and if i click on invoice receipt that item is no longer free item as the free item check box gets untick.
pl help me to solve this.

If there is no delivery cost condition like Freight at item level exists then
Please check any delivery cost conditions given as Header condition.If it is given as Header condition and this cost will be distributed among the line items.When you adding the line item, the cost also distributed.For free items you can't assign any costs.
