Not Able To Fetch Data

hi,
im creating an application using web service model.
when i run my application i get " Service call exception "
After i insert a field the exception goes.
on insertion of this field i shuld fetch data from the table.
bt im nt able to do so.
can anybody plz suggest coding for my insert button.

PCA query not able to fetch data

HI All, I have installed PCA Business content cube and all the queries available in the Business content relavant to the PCA cube. I have loaded one quarter worth of data. The Profit center - Balance sheet and Profit center - Income statement queries are not able to fetch any data. I am able to execute te query but the report has no data in it.
Can any one suggest me if there is any thingthat I can do or any ways to dedbug this query.

Are you executing this query "wide open" or you using Characteristic Restrictions and/or Variables that could be filtering out your data? Did you try executing the query using tcode RSRT via 'Execute + Debug'? That may help. Also, take a look at the source InfoProvider in LISTCUBE using the same criteria as the query to see if any data retrieve via that method.

Web Template is not able to fetch data from Data Provider

hi friends,
           i have created a reporting agent for a particular query and given all the necessary parameters, defined the variants and activated this and created a scheduling package to this ,assigned my query to the scheduling package
           later in the web template,in the web item tab i maintained the read mode as precalculated web template and the final report on the web is saying web tempalte is not able to get the data from the data provider ,
am i missing any where...
        i look forward to your help ,

Not able to fetch data using Scenario

I am working with Quincy Fund Demo. In that we have investorhome.jsp page, where we have following code to get the offer Advertisement data.

we have schduled process chain for transaction data and master data.when check the process chain status is green.
but when not a single record is coming for any of the process chain.when i check the step by step analysis.
gray RFC to source system successful ?
red Does selectable data exist in the source system?
red Data selection successfully started ?
red Data selection successfully finished ?
gray RFC to Warehouse successful ?
gray Processing successfully finished?
gray All reported data packets received?
gray All data packets complete ?
remaining things are in green status.
for every thing it is fetching zero records.i have already checked rfc connection and all the update and tranfer rules.every thing is fine.
can anybody help me out...

   well,,I have after lot of replies,.. so let me see..
   I understand this is LO extraction. Also, since your load is running in Process chain, I "assume" these are delta loads.( right?). You also say there are records in the related tables.
So, I feel, foll. are the things that you may need to check.
   1. Did you check in RSA7 for delta records?
   2. Did you check if the delta jobs are running fine to collect the data from the application tables?
   3. Did you correctly do the settings for delta for your extract structure?(direct delta, queued delta.. etc)
   4. These are the basic settings that will ensure that the delta records are collected in the right way!!!
    Once all the above listed are fine, then you should be able to see some data collected in your delta Q( assuming ur loads are delta loads)
    Let us know!!!

Not able to query data from View

Hi,
I am not able to fetch data from views even while running simple select statements. I am using SQL Developer Version 3.0.04,
Same query is fetching data on other computers running SQL Developer or Toad.
Has anyone faced this issue??

Is that the first version ever you installed? You unzipped in a clean directory, right?
What OS/JDK/DB versions?

My requirement is I need to fetch the data from Source System (From Data base table) by using Virtual Cube.
What I have done is I have created Virtual Cube and created corresponding Function Module in Source System.
That Function MOdule is working fine, if Data base table is small in Source System.But If data base table contains huge amount of data (millions of record), I am not able to fetch the data.
Below is the code I have incorporated in my function module.

Not able to fetch serial number in MFBF

Hello,
We are doing production booking through MFBF transaction and the serial number has to be enterred for each backflush.
I want to check the serial number for validation, hence i am using user exit "ZXMRMU02" with customised code.
I need to fetch plant and posting date from input screen and compare the posting month with serial number letter(month) if both are matching then only I should be able to do MFBF otherwise system should through an errror message that " posting is not in current month.
The problem here is I am unable to fetch serial number from input screen (Program Name SAPLIPW1 & Screen Number 0200). however I am able to get Material , Posting dates, Plant.
Please suggest how can we fetch serial number from input screen.
when i go with field exit, I could fetch serial number but not able to fetch plant and posting dates which are in first screen.

Dear Kumar,
As per Std SAP behaviour, You can't use Serial Number Management for Goods Movement with Backflushing.When you are setting Backflush indicator as 1 always backflush in Material master system will not allow you to maintain serial number profile in work scheduling view.
Also go thr. SAP Note No. 317455 for more clarification about using serial numbers with backflushing.

Not Able To View Data in Web Service Model

 I m trying to view a table using web service model.
 When i write the same code for binding it to context , i m able to view its data.
 But not so while using Web Service Model(not adaptive web service model).
 The code is:

Not able to see data in Pivot table

Hi,
I have a issue with pivot table i have a column which displays values 0 and 1 and another column called month when i am placing this month column as a section and values column as a measure i am not seeing any values means i can see the month as header but instead showing 0 or 1 its showing blank columns. previously i created similar kind of table it worked but at that time values column data type is number this time its char. can anybody help me out how i can see the data in the pivot table. i already tried converting this column to number but still i am not able to see data in that values column.

Hi copter,
Place the month column in rows and value column in measure section and check if results are coming.If still it doesnt come i suppose you dint apply aggregation rules to value column.In pivot view click values column and aggregate by /select min or max or either server complex and check your results.
(I suppose your aggregation rules is default)....Correct this one and you can place it in sections as per your requirement.

Not able to see data in 0FIGL_V30 & 0FIGL_V31

Hi,
I've activated / installed standard business content for EpH3 i.e Mutltiprovider 0FIGL_M30 and entire data flow which includes reports and virtual providers 0FIGL_V30 & 0FIGL_V31.
I'm able to see data in cubes where above virtual providers read data from. here is the link from help.sap.com

Yes I've checked data in underlying cubes.
Mulitprovider is fine.
I've added Master Data for both 0GL_ACCTP and 0ACCESSTP
RFC connection is fine.
No DTP & Transformation since this is Virtual Provider based on Functional Module.
However when I debug FM for 0FIGL_V30 & 0FIGL_V31 - I see no data and thought there might be master data issue b/w 0GL_ACCOUNT & 0GLACCEXT but MD is fine.
It just not pulling data.
Is there some setting I'm missing?
FM's used for Virtual Providers are
0FIGL_V30 - RS_BCT_FIGL_SREP_DATA_GET_V30
0FIGL_V31 - RS_BCT_FIGL_SREP_DATA_GET_V31

I have loaded data using DTP from 2 different source systems.
One is 3.x emulated datasource and the other is New 7.0 datasource.I have loaded data sucessfully in to DSO.Built a query on same.
But when iam executing the query by material as selection criteria.Iam not able to found data in query from one source system.The same data is available in DSO.Please needed in this regard.

After extracting data into DSO check the request whether active or not.
Check data in DSO in contents.
If is there any restrictions on info providers in Queries.
Let us know status clearly.......

Not able to see Data in Xcelsius 2008

Hi everyone,
My question is I am not able to see data in Xcelsius spreadsheet although I am able to connect to SAP BW and also able to see and select query but when I select Cross Tab Data in output Values it is not displaying in Xcelsius spreadsheet
System Info
Xcelsius 2008 Enterprise Trial Version SP 3.0
SAP BW 7.1 SP 6 ABAP and JAVA

Hi Rashid,
When you are using the BW conenction in Xcelsius you will not see any data in the spreadsheet at design time or at preview time.
To see the data you need to go SAP > Publish, then SAP > Launch to test the dashboard in the NetWeaver Portal as that is the only place where the data can be viewed.
