Not able to get internet after upgrading to ios5.1

I upgraded my iPhone 4s to the latest ios5.1 a few days ago and now am not able to use data features - no access to internet, no ability to send or receive emails. Spent 4 hours with Verizon and Apple tech support this morning over the phone but problem is not resolved. Verizon says it's a problem with the new ios5.1 and that they've got a bulletin informing them them that it's an Apple problem. Apple says they've received dozens and dozens of call from Verizon customers complaining of same issues but they think it's a Verizon issue. So Verizon thinks it's Apple, and Apple thinks it's Verizon. Verizon has a work-around (resetting Network options) that fixes problem for 25% of iPhone users. Their work around didn't help me. Does anyone have any insight?

After upgrading to Yosemite. I am unable to access my email via MACMAIL. I have confirmed settings with ISP have unchecked SSL...still keep getting prompt for the password. Yesterday I removed anything from the ISP in the keychain. I am still unable to access email. I continue to be prompted for the password which continues to reject. I am able to access the same mail via webmail so the password is good. I need help!!!

Last night it has been working for a few hours now it's down again since thee hours ago.
It's so annoying. Apple isn't able to operate a working e-mail system, doesn't provide any (free) support (not even to paying MobileMe customers ...) and doesn't provide any kind of information. Instead their status page is showing that everything is working just fine while many people on the forums, twitter etc. are complaining that mail isn't working.
I don't even know how many e-mails I should have received are simply lost ...

Not able to activate iMessage after upgrading to iOS7

Hi,
I am not able to activate my iMessage using my apple ID after upgrading to iOS7. It gives me a message saying "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." I have already tried resetting my network connection and connecting to my internet. Safari is working just fine so I know that the phone is connected to my network.
I will appreciate your help in this matter.

This is what worked:
1) Backing up the iPhone to iCloud
2) Resetting the iPhone completely
3) Restoring from iCloud
This helped resolve iMessage and Facetime issues.

Z10 not able to call oversea after upgrade to version 10.1.0.273

I live in Thailand and I usually make call to Malaysia using 009 service from CAT. The full number will be 0096057163xxx and I have been using 009 services for more than 10 years. After upgraded to version 10.1.0.273, I'm not able to make oversea call with 009 services. The reply is "The number you are calling is not in service", I try call with other mobile phones and everything work as per normal. I doubt the the latest version are not able to read and dial the first 2 digits "00". Please help to provide a solutions.

Checked with BB call center Thailand and they have not received similar complain from other customer, no solutions neither. I try making oversea call with 001, 007 and 008 follow by country code, all having the same problem. Especially for 008 follow country code 60 (Malaysia), it ends up calling to China. It seems like the firmware do not recognized the 3rd digit as it read it as 'country code' instead of international call service offer by CAT Thailand. This is really PISS me off and I hope RIM can do something about it!!

Not able to get internet access via wireless

When connected via hardwired or sprint pcs card and am able to access internet with not issues. When connected via airport I cannot. When checking the settings of airport everything looks correct (ip, router, netmask, etc.). Went to Apple store they played with the laptop and it started working, they made no changes they said. Got home with laptop and again no internet. My Windows based laptops/pc are able to use the same wireless access point and access the internet with out issue.
Is there away to reset airport? or some mac tools to help identify the issue?

My usb modem will not connect to the internet after upgrading to OS X. The modem is active and was issued an IP addreess. There apparently is a connection error between the modem and Safari. Any ideas would be welcomed

MY USB modem will not connect to the Internet. The modem appears active on either USB ports and an IP address is assigned. The interface between the modem appears to be the problem. Any ideas?

Strong wifi connection but cannot connect to Internet after upgrade to ios5

After upgrade to ios 5, my iPad 2 connect to the wireless router just fine. However, it take forever to connect to a website. Following suggestion from someone, I switch my router off then on, it work. But after a day, the problem came back. Switch off and on the router solve the problem again..
This connection problem appear periodically since, it is very annoying.
Anyone know the reason for this connection problem and any solution?. thanks a lot.

OK... I've restarted the laptop and the iPhone.
I have turned on Wi-Fi and Personal Hotpot in Settings.
I'm writing this and uploading it with my iPhone plugged into the USB Port because my laptop cannot find my iPhone in Wireless Connections.
Can anyone see anything that I'm doing wrong? Does anyone have a suggestion? Who do I call; Apple or Verizon?

If your wifi is greyed out do the following:
1) Put your phone on a plastic bag and then in the fridge (not the freezer!).
Wait around 20 minutes to take it out.
2) The moment you take it out reset your network settings.
When the phone turns on, your wifi wont be greyed out.
But...
The problem you might have is that it wont pick up any networks at all. Which is my case.

HP Media Center PC m1050e - Can't connect to internet after upgrade from XP to Windows 7

My desktop PC with Windows 7 will not connect to the internet after upgrading from XP to Windows 7 Home Premium. This upgrade actually required saving files and a fresh install of Windows 7. When getting Router support help to load a new driver, I keep getting a an error message "Realtek Network Contoller Was Not Found". They say it's an issue that HP will need to help resolve. Can anyone help?

If the "it" refers to a compressed (zipped) spreadsheet that you downloaded, the ".ods" extension is used by LibreOffice and probably OpenOffice (which are free versions of MS Office) for spreadsheets, which would suggest that wherever you're getting that "Excel" file from has switched to one of those programs. I've tried opening an .ods file from LibreOffice using MS Office 2013 for Windows and it does open though with a warning that some things have been changed. I don't know if Office for Mac can normally open .ods files. But if your need is to just open .ods files, take a look at LibreOffice.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store. Paul--you are a life-saver!! Worked great. I did have to look around to make sure I was getting 4.9 instead of 4.7 (even when the file was named 4.9 at techspot.com), but I finally got the right file, did the install as you suggested, and everything is now fine. One note, though, that I haven't seen mentioned in any of this thread: when I first tried to open up iTunes after getting back to 4.9, the following message appeared: "The file iTunes Library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes." I merely went to the old .itl file that was created when I did the update to iTunes 5, renamed it, moved it over to my now new 4.9, and iTunes opened fine. My library was a few days out of date, because of the few days' lag from the time I did the iTunes update, but that was easily taken care of, and everything's now working fine. Thanks again!!!
