hi,
I am not able to get the test for the calmonth in the selection screen of the Query.
i.e If the user enter the value 01/2010 as input in the selection screen. I am not able to get its text Janurary 2010 displayed in the selection screen of the query.
please let me know what could be the reason for this.

I regret to inform you there is no option to display the month text.
The system works as designed. The "Key and text" option for the
infoObject is for display the technical name and the description.

Sales Order form error "Not able to retrieve Display values for Service"

Few of our orders flash the below error message when the order is queried
"Not able to retrieve Display values for Service"
Below are the points I observed
1.The orders I am referring to are imported order via EDI interface.
2.The service reference type code has value of ORDER, however no other service related fields (like service reference line id) have any values.
3. The item is not a service item (service tab in Item setup is disabled)
4. Same item when imported with value of "Customer Ordered" in "service reference type code" field, does not throw an error.
5. If I update "service reference type code" with value null or change it to CUSTOMER_PRODUCT, the error disappears.
Can someone explain the significance of this column value and what could have been causing this error message?
May be there are some dependent fields/setups which must have a value when service reference type code =ORDER.

Maintain the dafault values using Tcode OISF with respective to Planning Plant you have to maintain the following values like Order Type, Main Work Center, Maint. Plant,Group,Group Counter,Business Area & Task List type.

yes after I imported my .cr2 raw files into new catalog it started to work. Windows 7 still does not recognize them but I can edit them as you said within the Lr5.6 and then export them into .psd or .dng files...as needed.
I bought Lr5 only because I got present - my new camera Cannon 70D and because my older Photoshop CS5.5 raw plugin does not recognize. cr2 files.

Not able to get net value in billing document vf01.

while i save contract and trying to create billing document system is not able to show net value in billing document.
Please guide me to get the net value in the billing document.

Use this FM READ_TEXT' and pass the so no, language and id as shown below, for example in me23n --> enter po no --- click text tab ---. click header text there. In the area rightside to header text. click on that area --- then goto goto in menu ---> click header --> there u will find text id and text object there and pass them to the FM along with ur sono.

1. Workflow has started and this page has been invoked from workflow using BLOCK function.
2. If I hard code the itemKey and itemType, I can calculate the activity id correctly using String activityId = new String(""+WFUtility.getActivityId(am, itemType, itemKey));
3. I need the itemKey to abe able to navigate to NEXT or PREVIOUS page in the workflow example : WFUtility.wfTransitionActivity(pageContext, itemType, itemKey,activityId, "NEXT"); when next button is clicked

Not able to get ESS iviews for 80 and 80C
Dear All,
We have implemented ESS MSS BP (ERP 2005 EHP3) and have standard iviews working on the portal.
But when i preview the iview for section 80 and 80 C, i get the following error.
" com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: Failed in WD JNDI lookup. javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: No child found in WebDynproContext with name essinsec80 "
Also, am not able to find the application in the Webdynpro Administrator.
Can somebody throw their experiences regarding why this is occuring and how this can be resolved.

as you said earlier that you have applied EHP3 .
But the pacth you have applied is EHP4 and not EHP3
BP_ERP5ESS 1.41 SP3 (1000.1.41.3.0.20090430054002)
And this is a cause of the problem which you are facing .
You are applying the BP which is relase EHP4 and you SAP_ESS is on relase 600 as well as your backend patch is also not equivalent for BP -ESS EHP4.
So the solution is ;-
If you have to use BP-ESS with EHP4 , then you have to upgrade you backend SAP_HR with EHP4 and SAP_ESS patch with 603.

Right now I set "Cell Text" field to "[Default]", but was unable to get the text (HsGetText) in smartview with corresponding POV. The reason I thought was that I didn't successfully store the text in the POV. But how to correctly indicate a column type as "Text"? Does anyone know the answer?Hi there,
I am not sure if I understand what you want to achieve. However, I would suggest to set the Cell Text field to "1" (instead of "[Default]") in order to be able to input/export cell text in a web. form.

Not able to get font style for some fonts
Hi,
I am getting font style(like regular, bold, italic etc) like this-

For some fonts(not all the fonts) , Style name is comming as empty string, however for other fonts its working. Not sure why its working for some fonts and not for others. Other font properties are coming fine for all fonts.
When its failing, result is not kNoErr, but i dont know that how to get the exact error?Please help me in this issue.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I tried GetFontStyleUINameUnicode() also but its also returning the emply string for style name for some of the fonts only difference is that error is kNoErr for all fonts. May be there is some problem with those specific fonts(who knows? ). m keep digging this.
