Not able to log in on Apex from a diferent PC

Hi,
On Friday my instance of Oracle Express XE (4.0) worked fine
On Monday I received a call saying that 'Page not found' appears when users are trying to connect to a specific Apex application. (actually all apps are unavailable, including apex home page)
When I'm starting the application from the server I have no problem, everything works fine.
When I'm moving to another pc within the local network  I received 'Page not found'
Server respond to pings ok
I'm not a technical guy, can you please give me some start up actions for debugging.
The Network admin is telling me that nothing has been done over the weeend, and the problem is on the Apex (I don't buy that)

Check you installation documentation to find required ports then ask to you network admin what happened ...  or at least add exceptions to only allow required ports.

2.1.2 Windows Firewall Configuration
If you plan to install Oracle Database XE onto a computer running Windows Firewall, which was first introduced in Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1, and then connect to it from another computer, check that the firewall has not been configured to block communication from the following incoming ports. These ports are the default ports that Oracle Database XE users
- 1521: Oracle Database Listener
- 2030: Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server
- 8080: Oracle HTTP Transaction Server

    I m Kalyan, new to HFM product installation. I have completed successful EPM installation with the help of user guides from Oracle.
    Installed on my local machine, able to work on Planning / Essbase Admin server, but not able to log-on to workspace and shared services on the local host link.
    Checked many things like Services running properly, Diagnostics report. All are positive. Using IIS 7.
    I m able to see this link "*http://localhost:9000/workspace*/", when I click on the Launch Application a blank window gets opened on Popup and nothing is visible it says loading for long time on this link "*localhost:9000/workspace/index.jsp*".
    Tried using different browsers, but unlucky. Is there anything I m missing with java or browser or something else?
    Please help me to sort this, so that I can log-on and proceed with application usage.

    John's support document related to the browser settings is the best, however if you do not have access to support document or are using Firefox you can try installing an add on found at -->
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/remote-xul-manager/
    and restart Firefox...
    Once the browser is restarted..you can find the add on at Firefox --> Web Developer --> Remote XUL Manager
    Add the URL, that you are using to access workspace and try to load it. If everything is good, you should be able to see workspace/shared service page.

    That link recommends that you delete the troubled account and recreate it, then restore your files from a backup. If you don't have a backup, then your files are lost.
    I'll see if I can get some more knowledgeable people here to help, but you may be out of luck.

  • I am not able to log in to ePrint

    I am not able to log in to ePrint, after entering the username and password a new window pops out, advising to click on HP Connected. After clicking on the button I get error 404, web page not found.
    Also not of the 5 apps that are installed on the printer not working, selecting them I see apps updating .... please wait and then cancelling.
    Anybody can help ?

    Hi hp323,
    Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are unable to get the apps to work on your Photosmart 7520 series printer and that you are unable to log into HP Connected.
    HP Connected has only been rolled out to the USA and the UK.  Please try logging into HP's ePrintCenter with a country other than the USA or UK as the your country choice (this can be chosen in the lower left hand corner of the screen, please see the screen shot below).  That will stop the redirection to HP Connected.  What is occurring is you are trying to log into the USA/UK ePrintCenter which automatically redirects.  The redirect is using the country from the computer and is trying to redirect to the HP Connected for your country and it fails as there is not an HP Connected for your country.
    As for the apps,  HP is aware of the issue and is working on a solution. It is recommended that you have your product updates set to automatic on the front panel of the printer in order to be able to receive the update when it becomes available. If you wish to discuss this with a phone support agent, please call HP's Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. If you live outside of the USA/Canada region please click the link below to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

  • Not able to log in Portal(irj or nwa). MYSAPSSO2???

    Hello,
    When i try to log in portal(irj or nwa), the application always redirect-me to log in screen again. So, i try to log in with another user, the message "The user was has authenticated with another user.".
    I verified and the MYSAPSSO2 cookie was not created. I think because of this i not able to login in Portal.
    When i run a service through SICF, it open correctly in Internet Explorer and the MYSAPSSO2 cookie is created. If i try to open the Portal in another TAB, it open correctly.
    Why the MYSAPSSO2 cookie is not created when i log in from portal.
    Recently we changed the SSO Ticket Log in configuration. But we returned to default configuration and we are not able to log in Portal.
    How to fix it?

  • Not able to login to this forum from opera in xfce4 in arch[SOLVED]

    I installed xfce4 and opera and they are working well. However, I am not able to login to this forum from there. The login page is loaded, I enter the login and password, login accepted message comes but when the page is reloaded, I am still not logged in and I cannot post to the forum. I am writing this from my previous distro + firefox.

    Have you tried Firefox in Arch? If that works, then there's something wrong with the settings in Opera (maybe it's showing a cached page).

    Somehow I am not able to login as admin on the NAS management interface.
    I tried all my possible admin passwords but no one is letting me in. This is odd!
    I tried to reset the network settings to default, but then the hostname changed to default and as a result I lost all the filesharing. My files are trapped inside the box.

    The backup builds up a file to about 260 GB and then it starts to build up the file again and again. This process is taking many days! Finally it stops when the file is about 30-60 GB. So it seems that there is a problem with the scheduled backup as well.
    When I open the backup the ".config" folder is present. Inside the folder there are 4 files:
    - exports
    - ftp_shares
    - smb.conf
    - version
    I assume this is my original configuration.
    If I look at a one year old backup these files are completly the same. No changes.
    Today I removed all 4 discs from the box and then I tried a network reset and a box reset. I am still not able to log in to the web admin interface. I am trying to log in with the default username "admin" and the default password "admin". But the browser is not letting me to log in. I have tried to log in via the Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and with the Mozilla Firefox. All with the same results. Internet Explorer let me try to log in only 3 times before it throws me a log in fault message. The two other browsers let me try to log in as many times as I want.
    Then I tried to FTP the box with success. The default admin username and password has been reset for the FTP service. This is really strange! But of course no files available.
    Is there a jumper inside the box or a procedure that can do a complete reset of the box?
    Or is it someone that would like to sell me a used box that is working so I can recover my files?
    I tried to call the CISCO small business support phone but they just telling me that this product is end of life and they refuse to help me. I asked them if I can buy a service agreement for this box but CISCO is refusing to offer like this support. I am really dissappointed of the support that CISCO is giving in this case!
    Any suggestion or help is very appreciated!

    When I click reload in the preview mode am getting the log on screen where I am trying to connect to the address  http://servername in the EPM connection.
    But I am not able to log on with BPC user id and password.
    am using BPC MS 7.5

    Ok, you should generally only get this when you are converting your ID to an iTS account for the first time.
    Sign into iTunes with your Apple ID and you should get this.... IRC once you agree or accept it's now an iTS account and you wont get that again.

        That is really odd, ThePathfinder. I too would be a bit weary of doing that, but the factory reset isn't as bad as it used to be. Let's try this step first before even considering that route. If you go to Settings > App Manager > All Verizon Cloud > Can you clear the apps cache and data, and possibly uninstall any updates for it? This may be enough to clear past info stored for the app, and may allow you to sign in with no issues.

  • Not able to read the wsdl file from server Premature EOF encounter

    I am facing issue while accessing a web Service from server. Here is the clear view about it.
    I created a simple SyncBpel process in a composite and deployed in to the server and it is working fine. Later i created a new Asyn bpel process in a composite and in the external reference i dragged a web Service and imported the wsdl url from server of the SyncBpel and wired the Asynbpel process to webserive .
    Now here i am facing peculiar behavior which i am not able to trace it out.
    1) For the first time when i import the url of syncBpel from the server i am not facing any error and it is working fine as expected but when i close the Jdeveloper and open it i am not able to user the web Service and it is saying as "Not able to read the wsdl file from server Premature EOF encounter"
    2)When i close and open the Jdeveloper i can see the url of the wsdl which imported in webserver is changing from http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/bpelsync_client_ep?WSDL to http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/BPELsync.wsdl
    3)when I open and see the url http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/bpelsync_client_ep?WSDL I can see the soap address as *<soap:address location="http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel!1.0*soa_5cfb8416-c106-40a2-a53b-9054bbe04b9c/bpelsync_client_ep"/>*
    I don’t understand why the soap end contains “*soa_5cfb8416-c106-40a2-a53b-9054bbe04b9c” and this kind of url for soap address is coming to all the bpel process which I am deploying in the server.
    I checked the in Jdeveloper where webproxy is uncheck and the server is also up but still I am facing issue of reading the error.
    Can someone please help in resolving the issue.
    I am using SOA 11g 11.1.1.5 and Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5

    Hi,
    Setting default from the jdeveloper -
    During composite deployment from Jdeveloper (wizard driven), you will be given an option to choose the version of the composite and there will also be an option for you to choose if the composite needs to be deployed as default.
    Setting default from the em console -
    After deploying a composite, login to the em console and click on the composite that you want to set as default, and you will find a tab - "Set as Default". please note that this tab will not be seen, if the composite is already set as default.

    I am not able to copy and paste photos from my computer to my Itouch. I use to be able to do it. Now there is an error message that says my device is wither disconnected or stopped responding.
    But when I plugged in the Itouch, it still shows on my computer, still able to see my existing pictures in it. Just not able to paste/drag any new pictures into the folder.
