Not able to login to this forum from opera in xfce4 in arch[SOLVED]

I installed xfce4 and opera and they are working well. However, I am not able to login to this forum from there. The login page is loaded, I enter the login and password, login accepted message comes but when the page is reloaded, I am still not logged in and I cannot post to the forum. I am writing this from my previous distro + firefox.

Have you tried Firefox in Arch? If that works, then there's something wrong with the settings in Opera (maybe it's showing a cached page).

  • Not able to login to Legal Application from Excel

    Hi Guys,
I have created applications Legal,Ownership & Rate as per guidelines provided on how to guides.
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BPX/EnterprisePerformanceManagement(EPM)How-to+Guides
But I am unable to login to application Legal / Ownership through BPC for excel where as I see these applications available and active in BPC Admin.
I have created another application - PlanningTest, for which I am able to post plan data through excel and able to see them in BPC & Back end BI.
I guess something to do with Legal Application properties, but am not getting it.
    Please help!

    Thanks for response.
Yes Member access profiles been modified when I created the application and it has full read & write access to all the dimensions of the applications that are marked with Y - Secured.
Still its not show up available applications for login from BPC - Office (excel/word).
Strange, but when I deleted the application and re-created them with new name and granted access to the dimensions marked for security under new application, it does allowed me to access the application through Excel.

  • Not able to Login to Punchout Catalogs from SRM 7 portal

    Hi Experts,
We are upgrading from SRM5.0 to SRM7.0.
We have 2 development boxes each for SRM5 and SRM7.
The problem is Vendor Pucnhout URLs are not opening from SRM7 portal. It opens the login screen asking userid/password.
I have compared the IMG activity (Define External Web Services (Catalogs, Vendor Lists etc.)) (The maintenance screen for general product catalog data ) . The User id and password are set same in SRM5 and SRM7.
When I apply the userid/password (that is set under IMG) on the punchout site opened from portal, then the vendors site is not accepting it.
Do we need to have different userid/password to make punchout catalogs working from SRM7?
if yes, how can that be done?
    Thanks,
    Chandu

The punchout URLs are working after enabling third party cookies.
    Path for IE is
    Tools-> Internet options-> Privacy-> Settings-Advanced -> Third_party Cookies-accept
    Firefox
    Tools-> Options-> Privacy->Accept Third Party Cookies

    this is SCM system.
    SSL CA's are set.
what should be value of the parameters?
    icm/HTTPS/trust_ client_with_ issuer or
    icm/HTTPS/trust_ client_with_ subject
http and https ssl conections are correctly set.
I think the SAPSSLA. pse" not found, is not the problem as the parameter icm/HTTPS/verify_ client = 0 is set, it means that no ssl certifiacts are required.
problem is coming when the system is being accessed from externally using other secure domain name.
the system is being accessed ok from web urs which is internal, but not external.
for example in strust tcode  the domain name is *abc.com, which is running fine when accessing the system internally.
but when the user is accessing this sytem from other secure login from *xyz.com, which is also the same companys domain, then the user not able to login, its showing errir.

  • Users are not able to login to BPM worklist application from one of the AD.

    Hi ,
We are using FMW11g ( 11.1.1.6.0) and configured 2 AD's.( AD-1 & AD-2). We are able to see users from both AD's in the weblogic admin console. Users present in AD-1 are able to login to BPM worklist application without any issue but users from AD-2 are not able to login to BPM application. Could any one please answer 1) Can we configure 2 AD's to FMW11g ? 2) If "YES" , what configuration needs to change to users login from AD-2.
Please let me know if any more information need.
    Regard's
    Naveen

    Hi
NO. You CANNOT use more than One Security Provider for a BPM Workspace Application. Only the top most first Security Provider will work. In your case you have 2 ADs security providers and only users from top most can login. Yes, you can see the Users from both and infact all the Security Providers that are configured. It is the limitation of the bpm workspace application and its corresponding security framework.
Out of box, if you use default AD Configuration then there is nothing you can do. Only the first top most will work. If you really really want you need to use totally custom authentication provider where you will write your own code for authentication. Remember this development is pure weblogic security related one and you need to have good understanding of internal weblogic security. I would not recommend this.

    Hi,
I presume you have implemented the solution provided in the KBA 1204539
    Two things you might try:
    - Use the IP address as CMS name. If that works, then you have a problem with your resolution. You need to check your client DNS settings and suffix.
    - Make sure that there is communication between CMS server and client. If you use requestport parameter, you need to verify with your network admin that the range indicated is opened between server and client.
    - Use the requestport parameter for Input FRS as well
You can check more details in the section "Working with Firewalls" (page 450) http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir31SP3/en/xi31_sp3_bip_admin_en.pdf
I presume that your LiveOffice is working because you are connecting to QaaWs and your connection to the Web Application server is fine. The problem are the other ports.

    Julian

Normally, when you connect via http, the browser doesn't check for site identity, so I don't understand what's happening there.
Do you have any security-related add-ons that force popular sites to use a secure connection, or claim to provide anonymous browsing?
Were you making the connection on your own network or on a public network (e.g., school, coffee shop)? If it was a public network, maybe the error indicates that your traffic was being intercepted???
Without hands on, this is a tough one to diagnose.

  • Not able to read the wsdl file from server Premature EOF encounter

    Hi All,
I am facing issue while accessing a web Service from server. Here is the clear view about it.
I created a simple SyncBpel process in a composite and deployed in to the server and it is working fine. Later i created a new Asyn bpel process in a composite and in the external reference i dragged a web Service and imported the wsdl url from server of the SyncBpel and wired the Asynbpel process to webserive .
Now here i am facing peculiar behavior which i am not able to trace it out.
    1) For the first time when i import the url of syncBpel from the server i am not facing any error and it is working fine as expected but when i close the Jdeveloper and open it i am not able to user the web Service and it is saying as "Not able to read the wsdl file from server Premature EOF encounter"
2)When i close and open the Jdeveloper i can see the url of the wsdl which imported in webserver is changing from http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/bpelsync_client_ep?WSDL to http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/BPELsync.wsdl
3)when I open and see the url http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel/bpelsync_client_ep?WSDL I can see the soap address as *<soap:address location="http://stcfmw03.satyam.com:8021/soa-infra/services/Tarak/synchronousBpel!1.0*soa_5cfb8416-c106-40a2-a53b-9054bbe04b9c/bpelsync_client_ep"/>*
I don’t understand why the soap end contains “*soa_5cfb8416-c106-40a2-a53b-9054bbe04b9c” and this kind of url for soap address is coming to all the bpel process which I am deploying in the server.
I checked the in Jdeveloper where webproxy is uncheck and the server is also up but still I am facing issue of reading the error.
Can someone please help in resolving the issue.
    I am using SOA 11g 11.1.1.5 and Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5
    Many thanks.

    Hi,
Setting default from the jdeveloper -
During composite deployment from Jdeveloper (wizard driven), you will be given an option to choose the version of the composite and there will also be an option for you to choose if the composite needs to be deployed as default.
Setting default from the em console -
After deploying a composite, login to the em console and click on the composite that you want to set as default, and you will find a tab - "Set as Default". please note that this tab will not be seen, if the composite is already set as default.
    Refer -

  • Not able to connect to my mac from my work PC

    hi,
I am trying to access from my work PC through RDP to connect my Macebook Pro at home.
I also setup the port on my router as 5590(TCP), 3283(TCP/UDP), 5988(TCP) on my verizon router. And I added my IP address to it but still not able to login to my Mac.
    Any suggestions..?

Perhaps it's a typo but 5590 is not the right port. It should be 5900.
Port 5988 is not a port ARD really needs anymore but if you want to open it go for it as it's your router and you can do what you like!
I think you're going to have to speak to someone (your workplace's IT department is favourite) at work as more than likely you're being blocked by your company's firewall. Most company's of my experience will do this for VNC and VPN connectivity as a matter of course and the only time this kind of traffic is allowed is if it's been approved first.
Did you try to get approval before trying?
