Not able to login to Worklist app

Hi,
I have installed oracle SOA Suite. Am able to login to bpel console and initiate processes. But when I try to login to Worklist app, am not able to proceed, the screen comesback to the login screen after pressing on button. I have tried it a multiple times but no results.
Can anyone help me as to what could be the problem and if there are any log files that can be looked into.
Thanx
Ashutosh

Please deploy the bpel project and then you can locate it in the bpel console.
Then ,initiate the main process and only then log into the worklist app with the correct port number.
Then login with the correct user credentials and will be able to see the tasks allocated to him.
P.S.:Unless you initiate the process in BPEL Console , you cannot see the tasks for the user in worklist app.

i can't login to messages app it is always asking password by nit logging in

    Hi,
As the Messages app could be logging in to AIM, Jabber, Yahoo, Bonjour and iMessages and four of those five need passwords but some could be the same as your Apple ID, you are going to have to be clearer.
iMessages uses an Apple ID. It may well be your iCloud ID (All iCloud IDs are Apple IDs but not all Apple IDs are iCloud IDs)
An Apple ID issues by Apple ending in @mac.com or @me.com if registered with iCloud or an @icloud.com  one can also be Valid AIM Screen Names.
The same is true of an Google ID and an Jabber account in Messages were you might use  the Google ID as your Apple ID.
Technically the same is true of a Yahoo ID but this is less likely.
Bonjour does not need a password so we can eliminate that.

    Apple id : [email protected]

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • Users are not able to login to BPM worklist application from one of the AD.

    Hi ,
We are using FMW11g ( 11.1.1.6.0) and configured 2 AD's.( AD-1 & AD-2). We are able to see users from both AD's in the weblogic admin console. Users present in AD-1 are able to login to BPM worklist application without any issue but users from AD-2 are not able to login to BPM application. Could any one please answer 1) Can we configure 2 AD's to FMW11g ? 2) If "YES" , what configuration needs to change to users login from AD-2.
Please let me know if any more information need.
    Regard's
    Naveen

    Hi
NO. You CANNOT use more than One Security Provider for a BPM Workspace Application. Only the top most first Security Provider will work. In your case you have 2 ADs security providers and only users from top most can login. Yes, you can see the Users from both and infact all the Security Providers that are configured. It is the limitation of the bpm workspace application and its corresponding security framework.
Out of box, if you use default AD Configuration then there is nothing you can do. Only the first top most will work. If you really really want you need to use totally custom authentication provider where you will write your own code for authentication. Remember this development is pure weblogic security related one and you need to have good understanding of internal weblogic security. I would not recommend this.
Here is one old post. This old post has 2 other old posts worth visiting to get more details:

  • Urgent help needed! not able to login in an application

I change the authentication from application express to database and back.
So I put application express again current and now I'm not able to login anymore in my app.
I even don't get my login page. if i start the browser and want to go to the app
it always redirect directly to my home page?????
Please help, what happened? App express authentication is back my current but nothing works anymore.
I can see in the design pages from the app but when I push the run button it just refreshes the current desing page and does not run anything.
    Other apps are still working

    Sorry guys,
Already solved it myself. A wrong column referenced in the sql code from the scheme authorization caused the error.
I couldn't get my hand on it in IE but when I tied to start the page in Firefox. I got even the right message stating which column was wrong in which scheme.
Again another reason to get rid of that grrrr win IE. It's such a pain in the .....

We are unable to login to EBS using IE8 however we are able to access the same using Mozilla FireFox or Chrome.
I Tried using R12: Using IE8 to access two EBS Instances runs in error "Unable To Authenticate Session" [ID 1098563.1] document but it did not work.
Also there is no error captured in the log file as well.

  • Not able to login to a new application

    Hi,
I have imported a sample DRM application into my DRM installation.......everything is good.......the application shows as started in DRM console............I have a user name/ password ....which i used to setup the app in DRM console..............
But when i try to login the app from Web URL.........iam not able to login..........with the same userID/Passsword....which i used in DRM console!!!!!!!!!!!!...........I can login to the SQL developer with the same login details and see all objects...........
IN SQL tables does any table store the login user IDs and passwords.....................How can i login to the application?

If you've got a sample database schema that contains a DRM application then the simplest approach is going to be to ask whoever gave you the sample schema for the DRM application what the password for the admin user is. DRM user credentials are encrypted in the DRM schema so I don't think it's highly unlikely that anyone is going to advise how to get from an encrypted password in the DRM schema to a plain text password on a forum that is available for all to see in Google search results.

  • Not able to Login with PS

hi folks, i am not able to login with PS/PS in the Datamover and app desingner. It gives me the errore that the user name is not valid. My psdbowner table does not have any entry about the owner of my DB even after running the dbowner.sql. i tried to update this table but it gave me the message that no rows updated.

<s>SYSADM is nothing but an Oracle user, when connecting with this user in DataMover, it's bootstrap mode. PS is different, whether it's an Oracle user, it should be locked, PS is also an application user (should exists in PSOPRDEFN). The latter is used when connecting to DMS/AppDesigner.
    1. Check the connectivity properties in Configuration Manager: connectid=people, connect password=peop1e
    2. Try to connect onto the database with people and check if you can select from tables PSACCESSPRFL, PSOPRDDEFN and PSDBOWNER
    3. From within the database, check the owner of the table PSDBOWNER (should be PS which must be locked).
And please, try to give the answers to the questions above (what update statement...). If that's a fresh install, or you've missed some steps, or something went wrong during the initial load (check the logfile).</s>
Due to the lack of information, I was going to the wrong way. Fortunately for Hick, Hakan rightly pointed out the step of the installation. And yes, PS Oracle user account is locked and nothing wrong to have PSDBOWNER empty at this stage, it is filled up when load the very first dms (there's a statement like INSERT INTO PS.PSDBOWNER VALUES...). I think some documentation reading here should not hurt.
Sorry, but I'm really fed up with people providing too few information (or no information at all) about their situation. I give this thread up.
    Nicolas.

what version of AM or OpenSSO are you using?
installed with JES (if AM) or as a web-app?
    on what container?
were you ever able to login to the console?
on what platform is it installed (windows/solaris/linux)?
any other debug output files (and contents)?
anything interesting in the container's error log?
