Not able to perform MB0A transaction

Hi SAP Gurus,
Please help on this issue.
Scenario: User will create PO in recieving plant, delivery note will get created in issuing plant, GI will happen w.r.to delivery in issuing plant and at last user will do GR in recieving plant using MB0A transaction.While performing MB0A user getting error " Special stock O of this material doesnot exists" I have analysed based on error, observed that while creating PO user has entered L in the item catagory field ( this is wrong because user not performing subcontracting process) Please let us know how to reverse total process create new PO to complete this process.
1) I have tried to cancel material document (GI matl doc) system giving error " Cancel the material document in the component that created the document.
You can only reverse the goods movement created through the posting of a physical inventory document by carrying out a new physical inventory for the relevant material. You can reverse a delivery effected via Shipping using transaction VL09.
2) I have tried to cancel DN using VL09 system error is " PO is not STO purchase order "
Please help me how to proceed on this issue.
Presently stock is showing as intransit stock in MB5T transaction.

1) I have tried to cancel material document (GI matl doc) system giving error message as mentioned below.
Cancel the material document in the component that created the document.
You can only reverse the goods movement created through the posting of a physical inventory document by carrying out a new physical inventory for the relevant material. You can reverse a delivery effected via Shipping using transaction VL09.
2) I have tried to cancel DN using VL09 system error is " PO is not STO purchase order "
Please help me how to proceed on this issue.
Presently stock is showing as intransit stock in MB5T transaction.

why spotlight is not able to perform searches on iCal events older than 365 days? I really do not understand why if iCal can sync all events, even the very old, the spotlight will not be able to search on events older than 365 days; why? is absurd; let's say I want to search for a person contained in an old appointment: iCal in your Mac with a few key words, I find it right away, but this important feature on the iPhone is locked; we have in our pockets phones are very sophisticated, but it does not manage to make things really trivial.

Not able to perform f.13 due to difference in DCIR

I am FI consultant and having the below issue. please share
your experience on this
For the Quantity 100 they have done GR&DCGR. The same
100 quantity they have done IR. but they did not done for DCIR. Later for the
quantity 50 they did DCIR.
Now they perform F.13 but they are not able to perform this
activity due to difference in DCIR. That is 50 quantity. We need to clear by
posting an invoice for this quantity. But we don’t know how much price we have
to post for this difference quantity.
And also there is price difference in GR and IR .Then how to calculate price for remaining quantity 50 and suggest the user to post this difference quantity.
I have a question is there price difference come when we generate invoice for delivery
cost to vendor. Please let us know .

Not able to perform baseline index - ProductCatalogSimpleIndexingAdmin

Update the <app>/config/index_config/index-config.json with "mergeAction" property for the product.category.
Ex:

Not able to perform computation on Non Database Column in Tabular Form

          I have a Master and a Detail Tabular Form which has the following requirement:
If I choose Two Way in my Trip Type item in my Master form,the No of Tickets field in my Detail Tabular form has to get doubled ie. 2*No of tickets
The No of Tickets is a Display as Text(does not save state) field so I am not able to select the value of the field in jquery.
Kindle help me with this.

I have added a true and a false action to the dynamic action disable.

Because you have used "Display as text(saves state)" apex renders both an input item of type hidden. And a span element that displays the value.
Both these elements need to be set separately. See the last two lines of the code.
The calculation of the new Number of tickets happens for each hidden element with the name f14.
And the span element is the second sibling of the hidden element.
Adding a user to your workspace.
Go to Administration > Manage Users and Groups > Create User.
Than you don't have to share your own login credentials any more.

Not able to execute custom transaction in Background mode

Dear All,
There is a custom modele pool program to update the data in info type 9003. We have written a Z program in that we are calling this custom modele pool through CALL TRANSACTION with mode 'N' and update 'S'.
Z Program is running successfully and updating data in 9003 info type when we run in foreground mode.
But it is not updating when runs in Background mode.
Am I need to take any other precautions when run in background mode for custom transaction?
We are using 4.6C version.

For custom transactions you shouldn't have a problem - unless you're trying to do something that needs dialog with the presentation server.
Set an infinite loop in the custom transaction, launch your program in backround, then from Sm50, go to debug and find out what's going on.
DATA: debug.
WHILE debug IS INITIAL. " Debug from SM50 will get you here, change field DEBUG in the
ENDWHILE. " debugger to contain 'X', and the loop will end.
Also, if your custom tx calls any standard SAP programs/FM, there is a chance that those programs work differently in background than foreground.

Not able to perform j1iex for service tax capturing

The service PO is similar to that of any other PO in terms of taxing.
In service tax we will have
Service tax          - 12 %
Education cess          - 2 %
Surcharge          - 1%
So for service tax code we will be maintaining three rates in the Tax code.
Follow the below process for Service Cycle :-
1. AC01 - Create Service master in AC01 and assign the Valuation Class for the Service Masters and do Account
                 Determination in OBYC for A/c Key GBB and Valuation Modifier VBR (to this Assign the Service Expense A/c) and
                 for A/c Key WRX, assign GR/IR Clearing A/c
2. ME21N - In PO (ME21N), use Item category as "D" (Services) along with Account Assignment Category "K" (Cost Center)
                    and In "Services" tab, specify the Service Master and pricing details
3. ML81N - Create Service Entry Sheet w.r.t. Service PO
Service Expense A/c - Dr
GR/IR Clearing A/c - Cr
4. MIRO - LIV for Service Entry Sheet or Service PO
Service Vendor A/c - Cr
GR/IR Clearing A/c - Dr
Service Tax A/c - Dr

In normal purchase order having excise duty we would perform a t.code j1iex once for capturing excise and again for posting excise duty.
we want same step between step 3 and step 4 for service tax also. can anyone tell us how to achive that.

We dont have the provision to maintain registers for service tax.
so there is no question of capturing service tax thro J1IEX.
Service tax is posted to a G/L account at the time of MIRO.
We will utilize this service tax input credit at the time of monthly utilization (J2IUN) where in there is option for giving this G/L account.
then the amounts of input service tax will be populated in the screen.

Pdf file not able to perform the user rights getting failure message

i am using a trial version of Livecycle ES.
I am facing a issue while providing the user rights to the PDf file (dynamic file created in livecycle Designer 7.0). After uploading the file and providing the user right to embedded the file attachment. I am getting a failure message. Don’t know what the reason is.

We had issues with attachments in version 7.0. You might try opening the LiveCycle 7.0 form in 8.1 or higher and then saving it.

Batch management indicator not able to turned on for a material

Hi all,
We are trying to turn on the batch indicator at material master for which we had inventory in the past. But all the open PO lines, inbound deliveries, open transfer requirements (we have WM too) were deleted. Earlier we were getting under "DISPLAY ERRORs" stock is present in plant level along with open TRs. So, TRs were deleted using LB02 and open PO lines were marked for deletion. No stock is available in MD04, MMBE & LS24.
- I read that previous period posting maybe affecting it but how do I see that as one of the other thread didn't clarify how to determine previous period stock.
- Also, another issue might be due to archiving issue. I am planning to perform SARA for MM_SPSTOCK. Is that requried?
- Finally, we had another part for which we deleted TRs in the system but didn't remove PO LINES. But system allowed us to updated the BATCH INDICATOR at mm level? Is there an inconsistency??

We used the approach in testing in it worked.. but for some reason the transaction is not working in PRODUCTION. I am not able to perform 551 movement type in production system as I keep getting error "Number range is not maintained for the FI document type". But the document type which should be proposed is already maintained in NRIV table. This error doesn't come if instead of doing MIGO with 551 in previous period (date 09/25/09) we use current period then I get the document. We have technical team looking into this as we have lot of customization that determines the FI document type which I think is not working when we try for the previous period.
Any one seen similar issues? I am closing the thread as I think it is the code error and once that is fixed we should be able to perform scrapping in previous period.
If this doesn't work I will try the OSS note program RVBCONVMAT2BM.

You can create a new APS in CMC containing the Data Federation Service with
-Xmx2g -> 8g (This is the suggested range)
Make sure you remove this service from the existing APS and then create a new one.
You could refer SAP KBA 1694041 - BI 4.x Consulting:- How to size the Adaptive Processing
Server (APS) which would assist you in sizing the APS.
