Not able to play video directly from websites like metacafe in safari browser

I recently purchased an iPhone 4S however I am not able to play videos directly from websites like metacafe.com and all others. Whereas few of my friends who bought iPhone 4S / 5 (factory unlocked) versions can very well play videos from all websites. Whenever they browse videos, it start streaming on their phones and stArt playing in QuickTime player. What is the reason of this behavior, is there something missing in my iPhone?

Not even close to good enough, LCD screen will crack, water will go in through the jack/charger ports..
The phone i describe has no external ports just 4-5 little pins which can't let water in or out of the device, the docking station will connect via these 4 - 5 pins for data transfer and recharging...., IPX8 standard, all the electronics are epxoyed with a glue to stop real bad shocks from drops and bangs, along with a silicon case and all the other preventative meausres means this little phone is going to outlive you.
in combination with heart rate external bluetooth connection, really what more could you want... only the Sonim comes close in terms of perfection but if it managed to pack all of above, then it would be simply wow... I don't think there's enough people who work for nokia who actually go camping, backpacking, hiking, i'm pretty sure that if i told them one day
on a holiday you might drop your phone into the swimming pool, ok fine it's a mistake but damn, there goes your $$$$ N7 or N900 or even a HTC or Iphone.... not this, you'd yell to the first person you see in the pool, hey mate can i have my phone back, don't worry about the water damage, i'll get it back on insurance after a small lie stopping the person from running off with it (in fear of the now useless mobile phoned killed by water, making an attempt to steal be useless)
The person gets their phone back and carries on about his day, it drops out of your pocket, how many times you ran over it because you happened to leave it behind the back tire. oh no i ran over my phone, the tough casing and the epoxy keeping it nice and safe, except for superficial damage cosmetic, the screen and phone should be working still able to make that call or send out GPS info....
Sorry nothing comes close by any company (except Sonim) in terms of what they can do... maybe even a portable charger turn it to recharge like on LED dynamos. nah maybe not.

depending on what email account you are using, you may need to enter a password for you outgoing mail server, go back into mail settings and check, same p/w as your incoming mail server.

I am not able to play any audio from any website that I open in Firefox For example. if I play a song from Youtube in firefox, I cant hear the audio, where as the same song can be played in Chrome/IE.

.THM Sidecar Files Not Included When Importing Video Directly From Camera (Canon 7d)

Lightroom (3.4) has always copied the .THM sidecard files when I have imported video files from my Canon 7d using a card reader. However I am on a trip and have forgotten my card reader so I have been copying directly from the camera and for some reason Lightroom is not copying the .THM sidecar files and thus I am missing all my valuable metadata such as camera, exposure, focal length, ISO, etc. associated with the video files. Very frustrating!
Any ideas?

Also because I do not have a card reader I cannot grab the .thm files myself. Mac OS X (and I think Windows) just see the camera as a "device" and offer to import but do not give me direct access to the files. Maybe if there is an app that will allow me to do that when the camera is connected I can work around this for now.

HT5655 I followed the instructions back still not able to play videos.

I have a mac mini that I bought a few months back this year. I have not used it for a while because I have an iMac but when my 6 y/o Mac broke down, I tried using my Mini but it won't play videos. I followed the instructions on updating the adobe flash but it still won't work. please help!

Do you have Flash Player installed?
You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

Is it possible to play video directly from my GoPro2 using the connector kit and memorycard?

I have the new GoPro2 action cam and a Ipad2. I bought the connector kit for memorycard and USB. I was hoping that I just could take the memorycard and upload the videos to my Ipad2, but I was wrong. I don't work! I have been filming on the highest quality resolution. It is only showing as an grey object.
Can anybody help me with this, is it possible to play the movies?

I'm not able to play videos in iTunes without it hanging up for a brief bit

I am unable to play a video on any of my computers using any version of iTunes above. 10.0.1.22. The computers are all iCore 7 286. MhZ, with 8 Gs of Ram. The video cards are ATI 5775 with 1G Ram. Using Windows 7 in both 32 and 64 bit. Approximately 20 seconds into the video, and always at the same spot for all of them, the video hangs up for a few seconds. If I play the videos with QuickTime, no problem. Any hints, or is this just a problem with the latest editions of iTunes and Windows machines?

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I have been emailed Apple support since Sunday about this issue. They sent me a new download and keep saying that my firewall or virus protection program is preventing the download. However, I turned off my Firewall and deleted the virus program...it still won't download. I'm beginning to wonder if the download is a corrupt file that they need to fix...

You don't play video on Mountain Lion. You might play videos within your web browser which perhaps you are. Need the Adobe Flash Player?

It's not a bad install of Mountain Lion. I've had the same thing happen to me, but it affected not only Mail, but a variety of other programs including iPhoto and MS Office, where I had to delete preferences, caches, and reinstall the OS as well as the program itself. I'm still having issues with Mail, so I've gone to another program.
Everything was fine upon the initial install. I restarted my iMac about two weeks after the install, and that's when the issues began to happen. I've reinstalled Mountain Lion twice, but the same issues arise.
As I mentioned above, you'll need to figure out which preferences are causing the issue, then reinstall the program, as a fresh reinstallation will do you no good unless you wipe the drive completely.
