Not able to print the report I created in pdf portrait using report 6i

Hi
I created a report using oracle report builder 6i in pdf format portrait style. When I run the request from apps instance could see the exact output I wanted from "view output" but am getting printout from the printer I selected in different format i.e it prints in such a way that if we open a pdf using notepad how does the data in it looks,in the same way am getting the printout. I tried with different formats like postscript,html,..etc But still am getting the prinout in the same format as I told above. I can take print out from viewoutput but I want the print out directly from apps request. The thing is using the same printer I get prints when ran for other report requests which were in landscape and portrait also but nt sure report requests with pdf format working or not. Please help me if you know the solution for my problem.

In order to use the PDF output type in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) there are some server and EBS setups that have to completed first. Your EBSA DBA or Apps Server Admin will need to make these setups. I don't recall what setups were involved, but I do remember it took us a while to get everything configured correctly before we were able to use the PDF output type.

Hi Ram, Can you give me some more details around your issue? How exactly are you building the viewer? Are you using the JSP Page Wizard that comes with Crystal Reports for Eclipse? Not able to find the New ods created in Query Designer.

Go to RRMX -> Queries -> Select New Query -> and then click on InfoArea -> Select ur new ODS -> and Click OK
U will be able to see characteristics and keyfigures..
Drag and drop and click on execute....

Can I print the last page of a PDF document using command line?

Hi
I am in a situation in which I constantly have to deal with multiple PDF documents and I need to print the last page in each of these, and ONLY the last page. The total number of pages will vary for each file, so the page number for the last page will also vary.
I would really prefer to not do this manually, by opening up each file in the visible Adobe Reader window and then print.
Question:
Is there a way with Adobe Reader (maybe with the help of some other Adobe product) to print only the last page of a PDF document using some kind of command line without opening up the PDF file in the visible Adobe Reader window?
I'm using Windows.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I tried both ways and neither works. It gives me a prompt box that I have to click "next" for every page but after going thru all pages, nothing is sent to the printer.
Also, all directions I've read indicate it will print to the default printer. If my default printer is on a network, will that cause problems....
and...
should I be getting a prompt box on every page? I thought all this would happen behind the scenes and not force me to interact with every page.

NOT Able to print the Report output in the Printer

I have a concurrent Program-which is a report.A printer is installed in Oracle apps and i have assigned that printer to the concurrent Program.Now the problem is when i run the report after giving number of copies as 1 in options button,the report is getting completed sucessfully but it is not getting printed in the printer.
please help me in this issue.

Pl post your OS and EBS versions and pl confirm that you can print the file to the printer from the OS level using OS commands.

Not able to print the text symbol value

Hi All,
I am using BTE 1040 for email dunning. In this BTE, I have called my custom FM in which I have written a code such that an editor comes up with the predifined message which we can edit it after dispaying.
For example, my text is as below.
test1
test2
test3
&gv_sender_name&
test4.
Now in the above predefined message I have a text symbol &gv_sender_name& which holds the value. I have filled the baove text symbol with value.
But the when editor comes up with that above message, the same text is printed. The value in the text symbol is not printed. I have defined the variable gv_sender name in my custom fm and also in BTE. But still it didnot work.
I should the get the text as test1
                                           test2
                                            test3
                                            xyz
                                           test4
The above predefined text is created in Text module.
Can anyone help me out how to print the value of text symbol.?

I have created a text module with some text.
Let me say test1
                   test2
                   test3
                   &lv_user_name&
                   test4.
I am filling the above text symbol &lv_user_name& with some logic. Let me say that variable has value XYZ.
Now when I use that text module in the form layout. I should get the output as below.
Correct Output : test1
                          test2
                          test3
                          XYZ
                          test4.
But instead of above output, I am getting the below output which is wrong, because the value which is there in that variable should appear in the output.
                         test1
                         test2
                         test3
                        &lv_user_name&
                          test4
How to print that value in the output ?
Please let me know if you need any info on the above.

Not able to print the script form from print preview

Hi Experts,
I need to print one of the script form from print preview. As per the req. first i need to generate a print preview of this form and if required should be able to print it from this preview.
i am able to generate print preview and also able to see the print option but when i try to print it is going to the spool (which i dont want). I want it to be printed directly to the printer instead of sending it to the spool.

Not able to access the floating content from UCM into WLP using VCR

Hi,
I am facing an issue while accessing the content ( floating content i.e CSS,content,javascript) from UCM 11g into WLP 10.3.2 using VCR. But at the sametime, i am able to access the content once its moved to contribution folder.
Please let me know is there any limitation in VCR i.e VCR can read the content from UCM once its moved to Contribution folder.

I have created one report in ECC and that is attached to NWBC portal via. Tcode.
When I am taking printout of report using SAP GUI then its printing but while printing it from NWBC its giving Error.

I'm not able to edit the old ID I'm no longer using.

When I try to update the iMovie app in the Mac App Store, it keep pre-filling the old user ID, and it is not editable.
I've change all the data under system preference, but still facing the same problem, I don't know what's the password for that ID.
As shown below is the old user, and it's non-editable!
Can someone teach me what should I do?

This happen because the app was downloaded using another Apple ID, iMovie is tied to that account. Sign in into Mac App Store with “your current ID account” and check under Purchases menu, if you have iMovie. Also check in System Preferences » App Store » What ID shows below “Automatic download apps purchased...”
If iMovie is present under your current ID Purchases (grayed out saying INSTALLED), feel free to erase the app from your HD. An install button must be shown after and you can download and update the app again.
If the above doesn't work, you can get rid of the grayed out Apple ID email going to Applications » iMovie (right click on Show Package Contents) » Contents » and delete the file inside “_MASReceipt” folder (do a backup before just in case). iMovie will still working, you must get rid of the grayed login name.
This is will work if iMovie is already in your curent Apple ID.

I have encountered a technical issue related to Creation of User Routine for pricing procedure
(Routine :: RV64A978).
Before coming to issue I want to give you slight glance on my requirement.
I have got two requirements to write two routines for a new condition type -->> packing type .
>>Routine Number One First I Have wrote Requirement Routine         RV61A943
Routine Number two  Other I Have wrote calculate condition value  RV64A978
So as usual normal procedure of writing a routine I followed VOFM for writing routine for pricing procedure and routine for calculation (condition value).
I performed above respective process for both routines in VOFM.
And I have activated both routine from going VOFMMenu bar edit  Activate.
After activation automatic include is generated in both case .
INCLUDE RV61A943 . "FAMD PAckage Wt
Is generated in RV61ANNN
INCLUDE RV64A978 . "FAMD Package-Rate
Is generated in RV64ANNN
In case of Routine  RV61A943
I can able to find the main include routine RV61ANNN from where used function in SE38 and able to trace it.
And I am able to find it in the lists of Includes of RV61ANNN.
But In case of Routine  RV64A978
I can not able to find the main include routine RV64ANNN from where used function and able to trace it. Pls refer below picture.
But in RV64ANNN it is showing that routine RV64A978 is there 
So Guru I want to know following things >
1.     What might be the main reason in case of RV64A978 ??
2.     How I should approach to solve this issue??
Because what I understood unless routine RV64A978 is traceable from u201Cwhere usedu201D to find out its main routine RV64ANNN , the routine RV64A978 wont work in pricing procedure (I believe).

BI Publisher: not able to see the xml data after creating a data model

I am learning BI publisher and trying to create a report data model
I created a new data model from the report tab, use query builder, able to see the results. Then i save it and try to launch XML view from clicking View .
I am getting unexpected exception, not able to see the XML view .
in the server console i got servlet exception, here is one of the line

I tried putting your code and onserver side i see it is returning 09:12:17,234 INFO [STDOUT] [root: null]
actually the same program i wrote in java
and the same method i was calling from the main
and it is working fine and the xml document is getting displayed one important thing to be noted here is that the factory.newDocumentBuilder().parse(new File(filename));is returing XmlDocument
and the printing takes place
but the in same method public static Document parseXMLFile(String filename, boolean b) in servlet
the line factory.newDocumentBuilder().parse(new File(filename)); is returning DeferredDocumentImpl
and this creating problem , had it returned XmlDocument
i would have printed the elements one one
but as it is returning deferredimpl
iam unable to print the elements
could you please tell me why factory.newDocumentBuilder().parse(new File(filename)); is returning DeferredDocumentImpl
in servlets but in plain java pogram it is returing XmlDocument

Not able to see the result in particular column of BPC report

Dear All,
I have problem in one of the BPC report where I am not able to see the result into one column but rest of the users are able to see the result for same column in same report without any issues.
Generally, I used this report frequently but having such problem from last few days. Excel has created any logs which I need to clear? Please advice.

In the report what type of data you are trying to check in that column. can you please brief about report.
And also please check the excel cell format (right click and check it is a numeric or character), which may help to resolve this issue.

I am not able to see the valeus in the report on multiprovider.

I have loaded an infoobject Document currency0DOC_CURRCY into DSO and assigned a constant "USD" to it and I am able to see that value in DSO through the display data.
Later I moved the DSO into multiprovider by loading the 0DOC_CURRCY in to multiprovider and wrote a query on it.
But I am not able to see the values for 0DOC_CURRCY in the report.
Why I am not able to see the valeus in the report which is executing on the multiprovider.
PLs help me with a solution.

First step is to checck the data in the ODS.
Second is, You use Identify Characteristics and Select Key Figures to make InfoObject assignments between MultiProviders and InfoProviders.
If this is checked you 70 % of the job is Over in your creating multiprovider.
