Not able to rearrange items in the dock...
Just curious. My dock is not sluggish, as some have experienced, but I am a bit miffed that I cannot - as yet - rearrange items in my dock. I can remove them, and I can add them to the right side, but, if I try to place an APP or a folder into the dock/move them around, I get nothing. Any ideas?

have you tried dragging the icon lower in the dock, more at the level of the plate.
see if you go down farther whether or not the two icons split. there is a critical point you need to be beyond. it looks like you are close to it though.
if this isn't the problem then i am unsure.

How do I rearrange icons in the dock?
Beginning with OS X 10.1, I've always been able rearrange icons in the dock by simply dragging them to a new position. Existing icons move out of the way to make way. But not any more, not with Mountain Lion. With a lot of fiddling I can get the icon to lift out, but then no existing icons slide over to make room. Everything appears to be locked down solid.
This can't be how Apple now wants the OS to behave! Some have suggested I trash the system preferences in order to restore flexibility. Something I'm very reluctant to do.
I strongly suspect Apple has "hardened" the dock to protect the careless user. Holding down Option, Command and/or Control has no effect.
Surely there must be a new technique for re-arranging icons, but what is it?

System has not cleared two line items from the GR/IR clearing for this line item in PO.
What could be the reason these items are not cleared and now how these line

When the Dr and Cr amount are equal to zero system will automatically clear the line items in F.13. Here the open items are appearing with different amounts due to that system not able to clear.
By passing some manual JV or something you done to make Dr and Cr equal to zero then you clear through F-03(untick post automatically for this clearing in T.cdoe FS00)

I completed updating my iPad2 to ios6. I hv 11 app which need to be updated and these are flagged. But the updating procedures keep looping itself and I was not able to update any of the 11 app.? Why the update procedures keep looping and how to get out of it.
Okay - let's cut to the chase...
If the Menu Bar (File, Edit... Help) shown in my screenshot below is not visible, use CTRL+B to display it. Then click on Help/Check for Updates. If one is available, you will be able to select it at this time.
Note the item at the bottom of the list; About iTunes. Selecting that will show you which version of iTunes you are using.
An alternative method to display the Menu Bar is click on the box in the top left of your iTunes window... -
Option missing on Items on the Dock Icons
I find that on the applications that i have positioned on the Dock that i can no longer right click and see the windows that the program has open.
For instance for Excel, if i had three spreadsheets open then i could right-click and then select which one i wanted to go too.
I also used to be able to right click or control click on a icon and select force quit, or quit, that is no londer available.
The Mail program no londer goes to the dock so that i can open it again to see the mail, i have to go to the applications folder and open it again.
it used to minimize to the dock.If the application is hung-up, the "Quit" option when you right click on any item in the Dock will autmoatically say "Force Quit". If the Mac thinks the application is running normally you can hold down the "option" key and then right click on the item in the Dock to reveal the "Force Quit" option.
I'm assuming you've mentioned MS Outlook 2011 for the Mac. I can reveal all windows and select one to switch to through the "Show All Windows" option.

I am not able to type anything in the address bar or click on any menu options with the browswer. The whole browser is just stuck, I cant do anything in it. It loads up fine but nothing can be done at all within the broswer.

So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

When I create an alias the icon would have an arrow on the left side.
When I drag a item to the dock there are no arrow for the icon.
Are the items in the dock and alias the same thing?

Good question - if the issue is semantics, it seems Apple is referring to a lot of things as "alias" these days.
The "Finder" aliases, or maybe "alias files" would be a better term, are discrete files that contain a reference to another file (or folder or application...). These are the ones that appear in "Finder" or open / save dialogues, and are marked by the curved arrow, and of which there are two types. One is the classic "alias" (the kind from pre-OS X days) that have all of their information in the resource fork, and have the ability to keep track of their "target" (the original item) even when either original or alias is moved around. Unix "symbolic links" (I'm not sure how these work - it may be a filesystem trick) have the advantage that they are understood by the unix parts of OS X, but will stop working if the originals are moved, and will often stop working when the "alias" is moved (depending on whether it is an "absolute" or "relative" link). A "symbolic link" has a generic icon, whereas a classical alias usually has the same icon as the original (which might include a generic icon). Given how differently they behave in the event something is moved, I think referring to both as simply "alias" (as the "Finder" does) may be misleading, and if you are using "Finder" in "column view" with icons turned off, there would be no way to distinguish between the two. For that matter, since alias names are no longer italicized, there is no way to tell whether a file is any type of alias, or a real file with those view settings...
An "alias" in the "Dock" and "sidebar" or the toolbar is not a discrete file. Such items consist of entries within a property list file somewhere (the com.apple.dock.plist file, for example). I'm not sure, but the entries likely contain the same type of information that the classic resource fork based "alias" file contains. However, since they aren't discrete files, they are not the same as an "alias" file. But can you refer to them as aliases? I don't know what the official word is.
I suspect the reason that the "Dock" icons are not marked with a curved arrow, despite containing "alias data" is simply because it is possible to place an "alias file" in the "Dock". The "Dock" icon reflects the nature of the item that it is referring to, so if the original is an alias, it will have an arrow, whereas if the original is a "real" file, it won't.
Recent developments suggest that the relationship between an alias and its original is becoming blurred. In the past, it was understood that double-clicking the alias would open the original file, and from that point on, you would be working on the original. However, an alias file could be moved to the "Trash", deleted, renamed, marked with a label, whatever, with no effect on the original (not counting a few bugs). This has gradually been changing. In previous OS X versions, it was already possible to move the original item by manipulating the "Dock" icon. I don't have "Tiger", but it is my understanding that it is possible to rename the original item now by renaming the sidebar icon. Since the effect on the original differs between an "alias file" and a "Dock" or "Sidebar" icon, and the existing, well established concept of what an alias is (ie. an "alias file"), I would prefer that the "Dock", "Sidebar" and "Toolbar" icons be referred to by some new term other than "alias". -

Ok, you should generally only get this when you are converting your ID to an iTS account for the first time.
Sign into iTunes with your Apple ID and you should get this.... IRC once you agree or accept it's now an iTS account and you wont get that again. -

When I am on a phone call and I double click the button to go to my home screen, then open another application (usually my calendar program, Calengoo), my screen goes blank and I am not able to return to either the app, the phone, or the home screen. If I am speaking to a person, if they hang up then I am back to the phone application. If I'm leaving a message, I am unable to return to the phone screen to end the call, and have to wait until the other phone hangs up. I'm also unable to switch back and forth to look at my calendar if I'm calling someone about scheduling. This has only started happening since the most recent iOs update. I run into situations similar to this about once per day during the work week, as I use my phone is this manner quite often. While not life altering it is quite frustrating. Can anyone here help me figure out a way to avoid this? If it helps, I have noticed a general downgrade in overall performance starting two system updates ago (apps opening more slowly, closing unexpectedly more often, etc.). I have an iPhone 3GS with the latest OS update.

You can check the notification settings for message.
Settings>Notification Center>Messages>Alert Style
It should be on Banners or Alerts.
Settings>Messages> Turn on Imessage and send as SMS and below that "Blocked" to check if you have any numbers block might be blocking the message.
You can also do a hard reset by holding power and home till it restarts and release after seeing the apple logo.
Still doesn't work? Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings -
I have the iPhone 5s. I synced it with my Mac and got all the old apps from my old phone. I was not able to update any of the apps on the old phone and they will not update on the new iPhone 5s either! What can I do?

It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

Vijay.Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing.
